General Hospital News: Maurice And Ingo’s Video Misconstrued; Maurice Reaches Out To Nancy, Issues Apology For Playful Post

General Hospital star, Maurice Benard, is a fan favorite. He’s not only loved for his portrayal of the lovable mobster, Sonny Corinthos, but also for his kind heart, his love to reach out to the community, bringing awareness and knowledge to mental health, his sense of humor, and much more.

General Hospital news reports a recent video posted to Maurice’s IG account causes some backlash from fans who misconstrued Benard’s playful dialogue with co-star, Ingo Rademacher. Sonny and Jax may be polar opposites, other than their devotion to Carly, on GH, and dislike each other in Port Charles, but in real life, they are very close friends. The two (along with an earlier appearance by Kin Shriner, aka Scotty Baldwin), were part of a video post which featured Maurice and Jax acting silly, talking about Kin and Ingo’s hair, and working on set of GH.

General Hospital spoilers reveal, jn the video, Ingo points out that he is about to go work with his “friend.” Benard then asks to see who it is, and when he sees Ingo pointing to Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis), he says, “Oh I’m sorry man,” and the two playfully laugh.

It’s no secret that Ingo and Nancy have had their issues after General Hospital Blog reports GH News stating Nancy had blocked her co-star, Ingo Rademacher from her Twitter account. Ingo and Nancy have a rocky relationship, and Maurice was simply making light of their past situation. In the Instagram video below, you can see Maurice and Ingo’s playful and light hearted exchange.

Maurice Benard issued an apology, explaining his intentions and pointing out his respect for Nancy Lee Grahn. Take a look at his apology in the tweet below.

Hopefully, all parties involved have cleared the air and found a way to move on from this as Benard and Rademacher meant no harm. Benard even reminds fans of his playful nature, calling on other co-stars such as Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos), Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), and more, as he messes around and makes playful jokes with all his friends.

We hope Maurice has the happiest of birthdays!! We ❤️ you, Maurice!
