General Hospital’s Maurice Benard
Maurice Benard is a three-time Daytime winner for his role as Sonny Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital. Benard joined the Soap Opera in August of 1993. Since then Port Charles has never been the same. Organized crime has become an ongoing problem on the local and even Federal level.
The Port Charles Police Department has their work cut out for them when it comes to PC’s most prominent mob boss. When he first arrive in 1993, Sonny was law enforcement’s number one priority. Today, the fact remains that Sonny gives the authorities a run for the money. He’s been arrested and detained, and even put on trial. But the PCPD and the Feds have yet to stick the landing.
General Hospital episodes will be all new coming Monday, August 3rd. After nearly four months of hiatus, the cast and crew of GH are back on set, filming story lines from where they had left off.
General Hospital spoilers previously revealed Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will meet with drug trafficker, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). It’s unknown whether Brando has ties with Cyrus, but things will be more clear after this episodes that will air this upcoming week. Brando has a past with drugs and General Hospital rumors claim Brando is mixed up with Cyrus because of his past history with drug addiction. In other GH rumors, there have been hints that Brando is working under cover to take down Cyrus and his drug ring in Port Charles.
New General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) will meet with Brando, after Brando meets with Cyrus this week. GH rumors claim Sonny wants answers from Brando. Odds are Sonny will want to know what he and Cyrus could possibly have reason to meet.

As just announced yesterday, General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna will be returning to GH to reprise his role as Dante Falconeri. Dante, son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), and estranged husband of Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan), will be returning to Port Charles after being away for mental health reasons.

Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) is currently romantically involved with Lulu, however, he and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have a history. She could also be the one wanting to reconnect but Dante May be hesitant. Brook Lynn and Dustin fit in as they both have history with Dante and Lulu. Brook Lynn and Dante go way back to their old neighborhood. Could Dante and Brook Lynn’s history bring them closer?
General Hospital rumors claim Dante and Lulu will want to work on becoming a family again, leaving Dustin in the dust. This makes perfect opportunity for Brook Lynn to come swooping in, claiming her “Dusty.”

In the 1990’s Julia Barrett founded Port Charles’s own cosmetics company, Deception. She launched the business with Dominique (Shell Danielson) and Scotty Baldwin and hired Julia’s sister Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) as the very first ‘Face of Deception.’ According to General Hospital history, when Dominique passed away in 1994, Scotty and Julian left the company, and left Lucy to run things as CEO. The Face Of Deception
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha’s drug use isn’t just a one time thing. Unfortunately, she is headed down a dark path which could jeopardize her own career as well as Deception as a whole.

Corinthos is Molly’s uncle and some suspect Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will run into some trouble when it comes to Molly and facing her uncle Sonny. Molly is now engaged to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) after a confusing breakup that resulted after Molly turned down TJ’s marriage proposal. The two have come to an agreement of a civil union, however, Molly still keeps her secret from TJ. It would be very soapy if the writers to have Molly learn she is pregnant with Brando’s baby while trying to start her life with TJ.
More General Hospital spoilers claim Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is also going to find out she’s pregnant. It seemed as though Maxie was being set up to become pregnant after she felt light headed and under the weather. General Hospital rumors ran with the classic pregnancy story line- fainting and nausea is the tell all sign that a soap character may be pregnant. Maxie, like Molly, would find herself in a situation that isn’t exactly ideal. Molly’s situation is obviously a predicament since the father of her baby would not be the man whom she is engaged. Maxie’s situation isn’t as cut and dry. Maxie herself doesn’t know that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is living a double life as he commits crimes and pins them on others, while lying to Maxie’s face. Will Maxie find out who Peter really is and raise their baby alone or will Peter redeem himself and change his ways when he finds out he’s going to be a father?
Only time will tell! We can’t wait for new episodes of General Hospital and watch it all u fold.

In other General Hospital spoilers, it’s been apparent that Sonny’s father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is living his final days in the company of his son, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), along with the entire Corinthos family, and close friends. Although this story line was already in the works, it may be hurried up a bit in order to minimize the number of cast members on set during the early times of returning to work with Covid-19.
The details of when and how GH will resume production are still unclear, however, the July 20th date remains on the table.
