General Hospital’s Maurice Benard
Maurice Benard is a three-time Daytime winner for his role as Sonny Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital. Benard joined the Soap Opera in August of 1993. Since then Port Charles has never been the same. Organized crime has become an ongoing problem on the local and even Federal level.
The Port Charles Police Department has their work cut out for them when it comes to PC’s most prominent mob boss. When he first arrive in 1993, Sonny was law enforcement’s number one priority. Today, the fact remains that Sonny gives the authorities a run for the money. He’s been arrested and detained, and even put on trial. But the PCPD and the Feds have yet to stick the landing.
Sonny saves Sasha and busts Gladys! …Nothing good ever really comes from a stay at Ferncliff. But thanks to Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), that’s where Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is headed. Drugged and emotionally drained, Sasha is at the mercy of her predators. Fortunately, Sasha isn’t alone.

Over at the hospital, Sasha’s loved ones stand by as she’s whisked off to Ferncliff. GH recaps recall the eery moments during her departure. According to Dr. Montague, Ferncliff is what’s best for Sasha at this time. He and Gladys might have most people fooled, but not everyone is buying what this quack is selling.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sees through the pain behind Sasha’s eyes. And the look in his eyes show that Sonny knows something isn’t right. It’s only a matter of time before Gladys finally gets what she deserves.
Ava’s bold decision against Sonny ties her tighter to Austin!
…Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) has roped Ava Jerome (Maura West) into a world of danger. Actually, if you think about what kicked off their partnetship, Ava was the one who roped in Austin. He came in clutch just when she needed him. Like a getaway car driver.
General Hospital recaps recall Ava had just (though to have) killed her husband, Nikolas Cassadine, when Austin showed up at Windermere. He could say he was at the wrong place at the wrong time but according to Ava, he was right on time. Austin helped her move Nicholas’s body and hide away in a locked room in the castle. From then on, Austin and Ava begin to develop a deeper stranger bond. Admitting lean for Ava, their relationship is partners in crime who slept together once. However, it seems like more for Austin. Meanwhile, as Austin and Ava do or don’t catch feelings, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and a mystery boss controlling their every move.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Mason’s next order displays Ava’s loyalties. Against her better judgment, Ava’s ties to Austin and Mason tighten up when she takes another step toward betraying Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). To be fair, we aren’t saying decisions have been easy for Ava. She never wanted to go against Sonny. But given her own circumstances, her own pot of water was boil in a little too hot. Despite Ava’s experience with threats, blackmail and more, Mason has the upper hand.
Ultimately, Mason pressures Ava to hire a nanny of his choosing. Ava’s bold decision against Sonny ties her tighter to Austin.
Port Charles’s new face of danger! So much is out of control in Port Charles. Although organized crime is huge in Port Charles, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) organization does what it can to prevent and protect Port Charles from their enemies.
Moreover, Port Charles is a mess. GH spoilers tease that those who lead a life of crime, and those who serve and protect against crimes are essential groups of dedicated people. Together, the PCPD and organized crime take the steps needed to take back the city. Those who typically call the are now bowing down to demands. The experienced and able are also the targets. How did things get this far?

Because of everything, Ava lost her trusted nanny when Pilar Rodriguez (Brenda Barnerena) was setup to be fired.

Nina saves Sasha! …It seems like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) can do no wrong in Sonny’s eyes. I mean, she lied to him for close to a year, and kept him away from his wife and children. Knowing Sonny, anyone would think that his reaction would have been explosive. But for some reason, inside of going off like a grenade, Sonny was pretty chill about what she’d done.
According to GH spoilers, Nina’s actions toward Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) have catastrophic consequences for Ms. Reeves. Although Nina has overstepped time and time again, for some reason Sonny gives her more lives than a cat. However, recent GH rumors hint that Nina’s latest revenge plot backfires. Because Sonny isn’t about putting Carly, the mother of his children in any type of danger or adverse situation. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what Nina did. Immediately, flashbacks of gunfire and mob drama danced through my brain waves. Sonny’s striking dark hair is more than just a root touch up. Is it just style? Or is it symbolism?
When it comes to appearance, Sonny Corinthos is iconically known for his slicked back, dark hair. Since the early 1990s, GH fans recognized the Port Charles mobster by his intimidating demeanor. That’s why, when everything began to fall apart, Sonny lost his identity completely. His jet black hair was fading just like his personality as Nina turned him into Mike.

Over in Pentonville, Cyrus gives Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) a warm welcome. …All aboard! General Hospital often welcomes new faces to the cast family. With new faces comes new talent, so we embrace the addition. However, from time to time a newbie arrives and doesn’t really sit well with the audience. I think it’s safe to say that’s not the case for Evan Hofer.
General Hospital news reports confirm that GH’s newest good-hearted bad boy is a Kansas native. Evan’s older sister wanted to pursue a career in entertainment, so when he was around 14-15 years old, Evan’s family moved out to California. In an interview, Evan Hofer reveals what inspired him to act, and explained the early days of his pursuit.
Hofer refers back to his sister who wanted to pursue he career in music. It was then that his family moved from Kansas to Cali, opening up opportunities for Evan as well. When Evan was around 14, his sister’s interest lead him down his own path. “She [sister] started to do plays… and I just wanted to spend time with her,” he admitted, “so I got into it as well, just so I could hang out with her. It all worked out well, and I fell in love with it.”
Evan Hofer Reveals GH Experience
GH spoilers reveal Hofer has had experience in recurring Disney roles, such as in Disney’s Kickin’ It. Hofer admitted that he auditioned for other soap roles, along with other GH roles. Thankfully, Dex Heller was the perfect fit. He joined GH on May 5th, 2022. Hofer reveals he’s grateful for his experience. “I am really grateful that so much of my stuff early on was with Mo,” he states. “This is a new medium for me and I’ve been able to learn from him. Mo really took me under his wing on day one. I actually found out after I met him the first day we worked together that we’ve both worked with Frances Fisher [ex-Suzette, Guiding Light], who is a wonderful, spectacular actor that I learned a ton from when I worked with her a few years ago. She told me, ‘You’re working with Maurice! I know Maurice! We did a movie together [Lucy & Desi: Before The Laughter]!’ It kind of became a great connection for Mo and me.”
Fireworks or gunshots?! A shooting at the Metro Court rocks Port Charles! …There’s never a dull moment for the good people of Port Charles. It’s always one crisis after another, and sometimes a new crisis begins before the previous one ends. Understandably, each crisis takes its toll.
According to General Hospital spoilers, fireworks won’t be all that makes a big boom. The Metro Court is a place where friends can catch up, have a drink, sit down to a nice meal; and in the Summer, the Metro Court pool is where it’s at. This Summer, tragedy strikes the happening hotel.
