General Hospital News And Spoilers: Genie Francis Returns… With Martin In Tow?

General Hospital star, Genie Francis has been off canvas for a few months. Earlier this year, General Hospital news reports confirmed that Genie would be leaving GH temporarily.

General Hospital news and spoilers indicate that all the talk about Mayor Collins, aka, Grandma Laura, wasn’t all for nothing. It turns out that Francis is set to return to General Hospital after her Summer vacation from the daytime drama.

General Hospital rumor reports claim Francis will return when Laura Spencer and her brother Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) end their stay in hiding at a safe house, making their way back to Port Charles.

Laura’s grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is in hot water after being outed and confessing to being Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) stalker. The only helping hand he has right now is the very same one that out him behind bars. Spencer needs a break other than Ava’s offer, hoping Grandma Laura will save the day.

Like Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) pointed out, Cyrus doesn’t have to be a free man in order to reek havoc on others. From behind the bars of Federal prison, Cyrus is a threat to Laura and Martin.

Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) fury is on fire after finding out his brother Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) betrayed him after seeing their mother, Florence, who is being held by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Cyrus tried to make a deal with Carly to get Jason released, and when he came to see Jason under the assumption he’d take the deal, Cyrus become even more furious when he found out he still wouldn’t get his mother back.

Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has been desperate to find his mother and make sure she’s safe while being held by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) kidnapped Florence, the mother of Martin and Port Charles’ latest drug Lord, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Martin went to great lengths to see for himself that Florence was receiving proper care from Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman). He hired Jackie Templeton, Woman of Action, as an investigative reporter to help find where his mother is being held.

After Laura warned Carly to use this time to fight back, she determined her brother’s weaknesses. Laura realized she is Cyrus’ weakness, and can use herself to gain information on what he is planning on terms of running drugs through Port Charles. Cyrus has another weakness. He is very vulnerable when it comes to his mother, Florence. He knows she blames him for the past, and how their father, Gordon Grey died.

Cyrus thought things would be easy for him to move in on Sonny’s territory now that Sonny is missing, and according to Cyrus, not coming back. Yet another one of Renault’s attempts to kill Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was an epic fail because Jason was a step ahead. After being rattled at almost getting blow away, Cyrus seemed almost relieved to see his sister Laura, agreeing to meet regularly for the greeter food of the city.
