General Hospital Spoilers And Recaps: Willow And Nelle Are Twins! Frank Valentini Confirms Plan

No more wondering! The mystery has finally been solved. Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is indeed the daughter of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but it doesn’t stop there.

The saga of Nina’s long lost daughter began years ago. Back in September of 2020, General Hospital Blog reported General Hospital spoilers which were derived straight from Executive Producer, Frank Valentini.

General Hospital news reports revealed Valentini disclosed that the plan had always been for Nelle Benson to turn out to be Nina’s long lost child, but held in the major twist which we witnessed in today’s episode of General Hospital.

GH spoilers reveal Nina’s bad news also comes with some good news even though the revelation will most likely stretch over a lengthy period of time.

General Hospital Recap: On Wednesday, the May 4th emotional episode, a dying Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) made a confession to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and pleaded with her to keep her last dying wish. That request was that Carly always protect Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). In Harmony’s eyes, protecting Willow means to never tell her that Nina Reeves is her biological mother and that she had a twin, Nelle.

For a while, fans were convinced that it would turn out Nelle wasn’t Nina’s daughter at all, but Harmony confirmed there were two babies- another half. The two halves explain the heart shaped pendant that Nelle had in her possession. Back when Willow came to visit Nina at her office, she mentioned that her mom, Harmony, packed lightly- insinuating that she had left things behind, which would explain how Nelle got the other half of the necklace.

Now Carly has been put in a position to honor Harmony’s final request to protect her daughter from Nina. What we thought would be a vengeful decision on Carly’s part, is actually turning out to be half selfless as she tries to keep her promise to Harmony.

General Hospital rumors claim the truth will come out sooner or later, in a possible storyline about a medical emergency. Willow’s fainting spells weee never explain. This could have been the writer’s way of setting up an illness for Willow in which she would need to turn to a biological relative to save her life. If Carly promised to always protect Willow, will she be forced to tell her Nina is her mom in order to save her life?

General Hospital Spoilers: Scotty Prepares Nina For An All Out War In The Courtroom

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has some guts to go after the son of the man she claims to be in love with. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina share a grandson and Nina is fighting for visitation rights against Wiley’s father Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his adoptive mom, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina and Sonny grow closer despite her attempt at taking Michael and Willow down in court. Her lawyer, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) knows his way around the law but that doesn’t mean he’s a voice playing dirty.

General Hospital previews indicate that Scott is preparing Nina for an all out war in the courtroom. Sonny has blown off not only his ex-wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), but his son Michael as well. Nina seems to be coming first these days, even when his grandson Wiley’s well being is at stake.

Nina sticks to her guns and fights for her rights as Wiley’s biological grandmother. GH spoilers and rumors claim Nina won’t have much of a leg to stand on when it turns out she isn’t biologically related to Wiley’s mother Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) but in fact she is blood related to his adoptive mother Willow!

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Blames Carly For Killing Willow’s Mother Which Drives Carly To Keep The Secret

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Alexis Davis (NLG, temp recast Stephanie Erb) are about to enter the fight of their lives with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel).

Carly is a fighter but it’s difficult to be victorious over someone who has psychotic adrenaline strength. General Hospital spoilers reveal Harmony has lost it and she will stop at nothing to protect her secret. Carly and Alexis have to fight harder than ever to save their own lives.

General Hospital rumors suggest that Carly will end up inadvertently killing Harmony just as she did Nelle when she was fighting for her life on the cliff. It was a pure accident and self defense but not everyone [Nina] *coughs* sees it that way. Nina blames Carly for killing who she believes to have been her daughter, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

If Harmony dies as a a result of Carly and Alexis defending their own lives, misplaced blame could cause a the truth to be held in until it just explodes.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Wiley’s adoptive mother Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have been strongly against allowing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) around their son partly due to the fact they they fear Nina’s apple, Nelle Benson, didn’t fall too far from the tree.

Michael believes Nelle’s psychotic state of mind could have been passed down by her mother- who they believe is Nina Reeves. Now that we know the truth, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly outs the pieces together, figuring out that Harmony isn’t Willow’s biological mother, and that Nina Reeves takes that title. But where does that leave Nelle?

Previous General Hospital spoilers revealed Nelle Benson was indeed Nina’s long lost child. When word got out that Willow is in fact Nina’s daughter, General Hospital rumors claimed Nelle and Willow must have been twins. However a new twist seems to have taken the stage leading in the latest GH rumors.

Nelle may have been psychotic but she obviously didn’t inherit it from Nina. GH spoilers and rumors hint that Willow and Nelle may have been switched at birth with the involvement of Nina’s own mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), and Shiloh Archer.

Although out of character, Carly isn’t choosing revenge this time around- or maybe she just doesn’t know it yet.

Recent GH rumors indicate that within Nina’s fight for Wiley against Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), it will be reveal that Nina is not biologically related to Wiley, which will lead to the discover that Nelle isn’t Nina’s daughter. Carly has two options and two good reasons for them as well.
