General Hospital spoilers reveal the newly 50 year old has taken to Instagram to volunteer for the role of Nikolas Cassadine. Yes, you read that correctly. The actor who originated Nikolas Cassadine in 1996 is making it known that he is available and ready to jump back into the spotlight.

Upon General Hospital casting news regarding Marcus Coloma’s recent absence, Christopher called out his predecessor in an Instagram story.

Recent reports confirmed actor Adam Huss has stepped into Coloma’s shoes as Nikolas Cassadine. However, Tyler tagged Nik’s current portrayer in an article featuring current recast, Adam Huss. Tyler made it crystal clear he is willing to step in any time Marcus Coloma needs a day off. The Emmy winner adds, ”Just Sayin,’” to his IG story in what seems to be a nudge for consideration in the future.

Drama surrounding Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has been front and center as his son son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is the one stalking Ava Jerome (Maura West). Spencer’s secret mission to drive a wedge between his dad and Ava is working, with the help of his girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

General Hospital comings and going’s reports confirm that Marcus Coloma will be stepping out of the role of Nikolas Cassadine, temporarily.

General Hospital Spoilers: Recast BOMBSHELL

It’s over. All the guessing, all the speculating, all the anticipation. It’s over. The man behind the mask that has been following Ava around is, from Ava Jerome’s mouth, Nikolas Cassadine. General Hospital spoilers didn’t see this one coming, and this recast if an iconic character has stunned fans.

This news has come as such a shock and has blindsided the audience. To be quite honest, this General Hospital news is so fresh that we don’t even know his name at first. We just obtained information regarding the identity of the Nikolas recast. Marcus Coloma has stepped into the role as far as we know. We don’t know if maybe Ava is mistaken? It’s doubful, as she is in her right mind and not actaully drunk at the time of the reveal. We do know however, when Ava unmasked the mystery man and called him out by name, she said, “Nikolas.”

General Hospital Blog will be on the look out for any more information pertaining to this shocking discovery, as to why this was kept so hush hush, and why Tyler Christopher will not be reprising the role of Nikolas Cassadine.

By now the audience as gotten the drift that there may be a huge General Hospital return in the very near future. Elizabeth and Nikolas have a long history of friendship and romance. As for now, Liz is trying her hardest to fight for Franco. If her efforts fail, and Franco remains with Drew’s memories, she will lose her husband. Just as Nikolas was “shot” in front of Ava’s eyes. the two were just starting a mutual attraction.

Will Ava and Nikolas be able to pick up where they left off, or will his oldest and dearest friend become his love yet again?

As the story line unfolds it is becoming clearer which direction the Cassadine family story line will lead. I mean, what is The Cassadine dynasty without Nikolas Cassadine? The plot is being set up for Nik to return to Port Charles and the writers are dropping hints. General Hospital spoilers have revealed yet news has not yet confirmed a return for this fan favorite.

General Hospital rumors have named OLTL alum, Jason Shane Scott, who played William Rappaport from July, 1998 to October, 2007, as a potential recast.
