Nina isn’t a match for Willow! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)- is putting all her eggs in one basket and those “eggs” just so happen to be her own. Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother is convinced she’s a bone marrow match.
What If Nina Isn’t A Match For Willow?
General Hospital spoilers tease Nina gets ahead of herself as she jumps the gun. Prematurely, Nina banks on matching with Willow’s bone marrow based off the first test. Nina passed her first round as a potential match. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that her marrow will match to ensure Willow’s full recovery.
General Hospital previews indicate time is slipping by, making Nina become desperate to save her daughter’s life. Why is Nina so desperate? According to General Hospital rumors, devastating news surfaces as doctors find that Nina isn’t a match for Willow. Consequently, GH previews and spoilers suggest Nina turns to other family members with a blood relation to Willow. When Willow made inquiries about additional blood relatives in Port Charles, Nina made mention of Aunt Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Maxie’s baby James. Since Liesl is Nina’s Aunt, Willow is Liesl’s great niece. Additionally, Liesl’s late son, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) is baby Jame’s father. Is Liesl a viable option to save Willow? While for her own daughter (Britt), Liesl’s mindset is fragile. Will she help?
GH honors Sonya Eddy in special episode. General Hospital star Sonya Eddy passed away suddenly. Her death came as a shock to friends, family and fans alike.
Details of her untimely passing came just before Christmas when friend of the GH star, Octavia Spencer, broke the news on social media. General Hospital Blog shared the unfortunate news with the soap opera community and Sonya’s fans.
Since the announcement, General Hospital fans expressed their condolences and hope that ABC’s General Hospital would address the real life passing of one of their own. Daytime TV is no stranger to saying goodbye to characters, however, saying goodbye to the actor in the character’s role is another matter.
The Show Must Go On- GH Honors Sonya Eddy In Special Episode
The halls of the hospital will never be the same now that the cast and crew walk them without one of their own. The cast of General Hospital and friends of GH’s Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) took to social media to share fond memories. The friendships and bonds created among Sonya and the GH family were featured in many dedication posts.
Following the shocking story, ABC’s General Hospital reflects on the life and death of an extremely talented, kind, and loving bright light. General Hospital news reports reveal GH will air a special episode honoring Sonya and her impact and legacy she left with General Hospital. Look out for this heartfelt memorial in late March, prior to GH’s 60 year celebration.
Josslyn faces the hook killer! Innocent lives are at risk as the hook killer remains at large. The PCPD is investigating to determine the identity of this unknown serial killer. However, the only information known to authorities regarding the killer comes from a victim’s statement.
General Hospital recaps recall the heinous attack on Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy). Attorney Diane Miller’s statement to the police confirmed she was attacked by a woman. PCPD’s only lead comes from Diane’s statement. In addition to the attacker’s gender, Diane noticed the attacker’s clanking accessories. Among other victims, Diane was attacked out of nowhere. This seemingly random act left all of Port Charles shaken and in fear of their safety. It seemed as though anyone was a potential target until Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) put the pieces together. She realized all the victims except Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) were connected to her daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) in some way. Diane represented Trina in her trial, leading her client to a not-guilty verdict.
General Hospital spoilers later revealed the reason Brando didn’t fit the mold as an ideal target was because he wasn’t the intended victim. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the hook killer had plans for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate Josslyn faces the hook killer. As Trina’s best friend, Joss’s connection the killer’s endgame puts her in extreme danger. GH previews show Joss on the pier when she is approached by the hook killer. Will Josslyn face the same fate as Brando? Or will an unexpected savior arrive just in time?
Former General Hospital star Sarah Joy Brown joins Maurice Benard on State of Mind. Sarah originated the role of Carly Corinthos in 1996. When she came onto the Port Charles scene, she and her co-star Maurice hit it off immediately. Their incredible chemistry and instant allure made Sonny Corinthos and Caroline Benson the next biggest couple since Luke and Laura.
Anthony Geary and Genie Francis’s portrayal of Luke and Laura stole American’s hearts. Luke and Laura’s popularity set the tone for super couple status in daytime. When Sonny and Carly came around, Port Charles found their next super couple. Comparatively, Sonny and Carly’s dynamic drew fans in their storyline in a way that was very familiar to the draw of Luke and Laura’s love story.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Sarah Joy Brown joins Maurice Benard in an all new episode of his YouTube series State of Mind. Benard took to Instagram to announce Sarah as State of Mind’s first guest of 2023.
Maurice and Sarah get nostalgic about their days on GH prior to her departure in 2001. The actress confessed she left her role as Carly to go out and dk other things. She admitted that I’d she stayed Carly her whole life she would have gotten to a point and wondered, ‘what else?’
Sarah’s State of Mind interview with Maurice is up now on YouTube. To check out their conversation visit State of Mind HERE.
Kelly Thiebaud OUT at GH! Kelly Thiebaud headed London after filming her last scenes on ABC’s General Hospital.
General Hospital bid Dr. Britt Westbourne and her portrayer Kelly Thiebaud farewell in an emotional tribute. Britch Fest brought out sides of Britt and Kelly the audience hadn’t seen before. As fans are watching her last scenes in awe, meanwhile, Kelly Thiebaud and her boyfriend PJ Harrison are living it up in London.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Kelly has found her very own “London Boy.” And now that we are well aware of Kelly Thiebaud’s killer vocal skills, we hope PJ gets serenaded often. As a fan of Taylor Swift, Kelly is most likely singing the catchy lyrics to Swift’s bop “London Boy,” from the 2018 Lover album. A song about Taylor Swift’s own London Boy, Joe Alwyn.
Kelly Thiebaud Headed to London!
Although she is currently on ABC’s Station 19 as Eva Vasquez, the star is making the most of her time off. Recent social media posts confirm that Kelly Thiebaud headed to London to be with her boyfriend PJ Harrison. Back in July, General Hospital news and spoilers shared some good news about Kelly’s personal happiness. Shortly after she won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, Thiebaud took to social media to express her gratitude for another type of win in her life. In an honest and sweet tweet, Kelly shared some personal news regarding her love life.
The 40 year old Emmy winning actress’s “humble brag” about her boyfriend, letting fans know she’s snagged up a good man. Their long distance relationship and the 5,318 miles between them hasn’t stopped Kelly and PJ from holding onto love. The ten and a half hour flight from California to London is a small price to pay for finding “the one.”
General Hospital comings and goings reports confirm Kelly Thiebaud’s exit. We are heartbroken to see her go but hold on to the hope that she can someday return. Kelly’s portrayal of Britt Westbourne, aka, The Britch, left a lasting impression on our hearts.
General Hospital news regarding Britt’s departure leaves fans guessing. While GH rumors speculate whether or not Britt skips town as planned or becomes the hook killer’s next victim. We don’t even want to think about the latter so we will just leave this here. Take a look below at the oh-so-perfect lyrics we selected from Taylor’s “London Boy,” describing Kelly’s romance with PJ Harrison.
Do NOT miss a moment of ABC’s General Hospital as Britch Fest continues.
“London Boy,” by Taylor Swift
I love my hometown as much as Motown, I love SoCal And you know I love Springsteen, faded blue jeans, Tennessee whiskey But something happened, I heard him laughing I saw the dimples first and then I heard the accent They say home is where the heart is But that’s not where mine lives
You know I love a London boy I enjoy walking Camden Market in the afternoon He likes my American smile Like a child when our eyes meet, darling, I fancy you Took me back to Highgate, met all of his best mates So I guess all the rumors are true You know I love a London boy Boy, I fancy you (ooh)
And now I love high tea, stories from uni, and the West End You can find me in the pub, we are watching rugby with his school friends Show me a gray sky, a rainy cab ride Babe, don’t threaten me with a good time They say home is where the heart is But God, I love the English
You know I love a London boy I enjoy walking SoHo, drinking in the afternoon (yeah) He likes my American smile Like a child when our eyes meet, darling, I fancy you (you) Took me back to Highgate, met all of his best mates So I guess all the rumors are true (yeah) You know I love a London boy (oh) Boy (oh), I fancy you (I fancy you, ooh)
So please show me Hackney Doesn’t have to be Louis V up on Bond Street Just wanna be with you I, I, I fancy you, oh Stick with me, I’m your queen Like a Tennessee Stella McCartney on the Heath Just wanna be with you (ooh) Wanna be with you I fancy you (yeah), fancy you Oh, ah
Gladys pays Selina with Sasha’s estate! Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) came to Port Charles as a self serving mooch. She sought out her cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) because she was after his wealth.
Gladys was going to extremes to get her hands on money and power. And on top of that, Gladys told Sonny and his family that her beloved Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was dead. Until one day, Brando showed up in Port Charles and Gladys had some explaining to do. She also sold out her own son when he agreed to protect Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). There’s no telling what Gladys will do for one.
General Hospital recaps recall Sasha Gilmore is under conservatorship after her history with drug use, anxiety, PTSD stemming from the death of her son Liam, and overall depression. In order to stay out of jail after attacking Grant Smoltz (David Lautman), Sasha and her late husband Brando agreed to a conservatorship. Sasha trusted Brando with her life when she signed every bit of herself over to her husband. Things were starting to look up after took that first step toward recovery and self growth. However, her time of contentment and comfort was short lived when her life took a dark turn. Brando was tragically murdered by the hook killer during a celebratory family dinner.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha mistakenly put her trust in her mother-in-law after Brando’s death. She had to sign the conservatorship over to someone, therefore, the family decided keeping it in the family was best. Sasha was comfortable with her decision when it was all said and done.
Gladys pays Selina with Sasha’s estate!
GH previews and spoilers tease Sasha comes to regret trusting greedy Gladys when her mother-in-law gets herself into financial trouble. We all have our vices, and for Gladys, the death of her son drove her to gamble. General Hospital previews indicate Gladys is indebted to none other than Selina Wu (Lydia Look) after placing bets under Selina’s operation at The Savoy. Selina has a business rapport with Gladys’s cousin Sonny Corinthos. But, Selina never does favors for free. So, going to Sonny would most likely cause more harm than good.
General Hospital rumors hint Gladys panics at the thought of owning such a powerful woman like Selina that kind of money. Of course Gladys doesn’t have that kind of money but she knows someone who does. Gladys is in control of Sasha’s conservatorship. That being said, it seems pretty obvious where she will find the money to pay Selina. The woman Sasha trusted with her life in her hands, betrays her over gambling troubles. Gladys knows Selina Wu isn’t one to mess with. Consequently, she does what she has to do and forks over the money- Sasha’s money.
Elizabeth and Esme turn on Nikolas! Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is without a doubt taking advantage of his friendship with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). He knows it, she knows it; but how long will she stand for it?
General Hospital news reports confirm Marcus Coloma will exit GH as Nikolas Cassadine. Speculations surrounding Coloma’s storyline wrap-up suggest Nikolas is going down in a big way.
Nikolas and Elizabeth are in far too deep to stop now even though they both know Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) can’t possibly be the hook killer. Elizabeth risks losing her entire career as a Nurse, as well as, jeopardizing her future with her boys.
General Hospital spoilers tease Nikolas pays the price for keeping Esme prisoner. He manipulated his best friend Elizabeth, roping her into helping him hide a young pregnant woman. Despite feeling like she has no other option, Elizabeth may rethink her position with Nikolas. Will Elizabeth and Esme turn on Nikolas?
General Hospital comings and goings rumors tease a recast is in the works for Nikolas Cassadine as opposed to having the character killed off. According to recent General Hospital news and spoilers, former GH star Tyler Christopher spoke out in regard to stepping in to play Nikolas Cassadine. As the original actor to play Nikolas, GHfans associate Tyler with the role the most.
Following Tyler’s announcement on social media, we conducted a GH poll asking fans if they’d want Tyler to return as Nikolas. General Hospital news and spoilers reveal over 1K fans voted to voice their opinion. Results show that 80% of fans voted they’d like to see Tyler to play Nikolas. While 11% said it’s not necessary for Tyler to step in, 10% said they’d like to see him only as a temporary recast. To sum things up, majority of fans voted Tyler Christopher as the preferred actor to portray Nikolas Cassadine.
That said, General Hospital rumors began speculation, claiming that ABC fired Marcus Coloma. GH rumors also claim Tyler Christopher may take his place as Nikolas.
Will Elizabeth and Esme rat him out, ultimately sending Nik straight to Pentonville?
Sonya Eddy’s cause of death. …It’s with great sadness that we share the news of General Hospital star Sonya Eddy’s sudden passing. Sonya played the iconic head nurse Epiphany Johnson since 2006.
GH spoilers reveal an interesting piece of information about Sonya. We learned before she played a Nurse on GH, Sonya wanted to become a lawyer. The actress admitted she didn’t want to be an actor. But, “something bigger” she was pushed into. Sonya admitted acting, “is really something that I feel like I was pushed into. … This was a God thing. This was not a choice,” she said. “I didn’t want to be an actor. I tried not to be an actor. But something bigger had a better idea than I did.”
General Hospital news and spoilers reports reveal Sonya Eddy’s cause of death. According to friend Tyler Ford, Sonya died after a non-emergency surgical procedure. She went in for surgery on December 9th and was released from the hospital on the 11th. Following her return home, GH star became ill and returned to Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank on the 15th. Then, an infection developed after surgery which became uncontainable. Consequently, Sonya was placed on life support on Monday.
Friend of Sonya and fellow actor Octavia Spencer broke the news on social media. On Tuesday, Spencer announced Sonya had died on Monday.
We continue to keep Sonya Eddy and all the lives she touched in our prayers.
What happens to Nikolas Cassadine? Will Tyler Christopher return to GH? Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) future is in question after social media activity sparked unexpected General Hospital rumors.
A few instances that have occurred earlier this Fall have ultimately lead to the latest breaking news. General Hospital comings and goings reports confirm recent GH rumors regarding Marcus Coloma’s status with the soap opera are true.
First, fans responded to news involving former GH star Tyler Christopher. In mid November, he took to social media to address his willingness and capability to return to daytime. Upon Marcus Coloma’s recent but brief absences, Tyler offered to take over as Nikolas, General Hospital Blog shared the news, asking fans if they’d want to see Christopher back into that role.
Will Tyler Christopher return to GH?
Next, a group of about 900 (and counting) GH fans responded to a GH poll shared by General Hospital Blog. Fans were asked if they want to see Tyler Christopher return to General Hospital as Nikolas Cassadine. Current results reveal 78% of fans voted YES to Christopher’s return.
Finally, eagle eyes fans noticed peculiar activity from Marcus Coloma’s Instagram and Twitter accounts. As a result, GH Coloma’s status with the almost 60 year old daytime drama became a concern. GH Blog shared the facts that lead to the the predicted outcome. GH news reports now confirm Marcus Coloma’s upcoming GH exit.
Tyler Christopher has already given the green light to ABC if ever a recast was needed for Nikolas Cassadine. Coincidentally, news of Coloma’s exit came just over a month after Tyler addressed a potential return. Will we see Tyler Christopher reprise his iconic role?
Chase fires Brook Lynn! Chase and Brook Lynn’s professional and personal relationship was built up slowly over time. What started as a mutual aversion to one another turned into a reluctant yet evident reciprocated attraction. They came a long way as the initial spark turned into a flame. But now, Chase’s words are like a douter with a product review of 100% efficacy. He snuffs out their flame once and for all. Sadly, Chase is done with Brook Lynn and her games.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is still hung up on bringing down Linc Brown despite what happened between herself and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). She seems to have a one track mind consisting of self-serving goals and ambitions.
General Hospital previews indicate hope remains in Brook Lynn’s mind. Despite the hurt she’s caused, Brook Lynn overlooks the magnitude of the damage done. She believes there’s still a chance for her and Chase to work as a team in order to end Linc’s career. What she doesn’t see coming is that that hope is one sided. That’s what happens when someone lacks self awareness, as well as, empathy for what the other person (Chase) is suffering at because of something they (Brook Lynn) did. She knows she hurt him by never writing the letter to the PCPD. However, she thinks, no, expects, Chase to just be over it. Newsflash for Brook Lynn… actions have consequences. Chase isn’t going to keep going along with plans that she has for the music industry.
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate Chase fires Brook Lynn. He cuts ties with his ex girlfriend and now ex-manager. There’s no doubt feelings are hurt on both sides. For now, Chase will do anything to not be tethered to Brook Lynn.
