ABC’s scheduled programming of General Hospital airs weekdays, Monday through Friday at 2PM Eastern/Standard time.
General Hospital is at the mercy of the network, and from time to time our regularly scheduled soap opera is either interrupted or presented due to some other airing needs.
General Hospital news reports confirm that GH’s Friday, October 7th episode will be preempted due to coverage of the Major League Baseball Wildcard Game.
General Hospital spoilers reveal coverage of the MLB game will start at exactly the 2PM eastern time slot as would GH. The game (potential overtime not predicted) until 5PM. On the West coast, GMA3: What You Need To Know, normally airing at 1PM eastern, will also be presented.
GH news and spoilers indicate General Hospital viewers will be able to catch Friday’s episode on the following Monday, October 10th.
So much is going on in this world, whether it’s a global health crisis, a natural disaster, or war, we as humans have a lot to focus on.
With all of these deep concerns around the world, many of us are able to out things until perspective, prioritizing the importance of certain situations with which we are faced. That being said, some people use their voices to take a stand or support their beliefs.
General Hospital news reports confirm that GH star, Nancy Lee Grahn, has taken to social media, using her voice and platform to stand up for a cause that she holds near and dear to her heart. The cause she stands for you ask? The up-charge for non-dairy creamers at the worldwide epicenter for coffee. Yes that’s correct, Grahn has a major beef with Starbucks.
Starbucks CEO is Kevin Johnson. He increased his salary by 40 PERCENT last year. His baristas average $11.82 an hour. Several starbucks workers were fired for attempts to unionize. I'm saving about $30 a week by not buying Starbucks. It's been 6 weeks so far. https://t.co/BqDtoZ8zyb
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nancy Lee Grahn, aka GH’s Alexis Davis, is distraught over the cost of the world’s most popular morning pick-me-up. Grahn tweets, “Is it that hard to get a coffee somewhere else besides #Starbucks? We can actually hurt these Companies if we’d just collectively not buy their anti union overpriced S**t! #UnionsWork.”
The soap star makes it abundantly clear that she has no intentions of picking back up her Starbucks habit, revealing she ditched the scene when Covid hit. She explains, “I stopped Starbucks when the pandemic happened. Before that, I was going daily. I don’t miss it and I’m saving money. Coffee at home is just fine. Besides, they got rid of my Skinny Cinnamon Dolce so there is really no reason for me to go there anyway,” along with, “Horrible coffee. Coffee Te Leaf and Bean, or something like that. Or get Trader Joe’s Organic Fair Trade, make it yourself and take with. Cheaper, better for the planet and your taste buds.”
General Hospital news reports have previously confirmed that GH actress Sydney Mikayla is exiting the role of Trina Robinson. The young star has decided to focus on college where she is a student at UCLA.
General Hospital news and spoilers report the role of Trina has been recast by Tabyana Ali. GH fans were shocked and saddened by the news of Mikayla’s departure but support her decision and wish her the best. Fans have also been extremely warm with their welcome messages to the new GH cast member.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Ali has reached out to her new fan base on Twitter, thanking the General Hospital and “Trina” fans for their warm welcome and expressing gratification for the opportunity to step into the role and join the cast of GH. Congratulations to Tabyana! We wish you the very best on this new adventure!
The story of Lulu Spencer Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) unfortunate accident is tragic. According to GH recaps, Lulu became collateral damage when a mob hit went south.
Sadly, Lulu has been in a coma ever since the incident at The Floating Rib. As a result, the young mother lies unconscious in a care facility. Her mother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) grieves for her once vibrant and full of life daughter. And to add insult to injury, Laura’s own brother Cyrus Renault is the reason for Laura’s suffering.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is finally loving on after grieving his “loss” after Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) caused Lulu’s current medical condition. Although Lulu and Dante had been estranged, his feelings for his wife were clear, and she was letting Dustin down gently. Lulu and Dante never had a chance to give their love another shot.
Lulu Shows Signs Of Improvement
General Hospital rumors suggest that now Dante has moved on with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), his wife will wake up from a coma, throwing a wrench in his new relationship with Sam.
Recent General Hospital news reports addressed the possibility of Emme Rylan’s return to GH as Lulu. The actress confirmed that she has not yet been contacted by General Hospital but was open to a return of they reached out.
When you think of General Hospital’s Cynthia Watros, you think bright, beautiful, actress, friend, Nina Reeves, etc…
Typically, “rapper” wouldn’t be the first thing that came to mind. Everyone has a hidden talent, as we just discovered Cynthia’s.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal an unexpected video shared by GH‘s Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). The video shows Cynthia in her car, looking back at the camera, while rapping LIZZO’s, Boys.
Watros doesn’t miss a beat as she displayed her mad skills at a shockingly strong rap game.
Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have formed a support group for two and Dante has named it S.P.A., as in, Single Parents Anonymous. They even went as far as scheduling their first meeting- on the spot.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Dante and Sam connect on a deeper level as they spend time together one on one. They head over to the Metro Court pool to have some drinks and chat.
General Hospital previews indicated Dante and Sam spend a lot of their time talking about their kids. Sam is burned out on the topic and wants to talk business.
General Hospital spoilers have revealed a sneak peek scene inside Sam and Dante’s S.P.A. meeting. But Dante can’t help but ask a burning question. Dante asks Sam, “Is this a date?” and catches Sam off guard. Is Dante ready to love on from Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) after hoping to reconcile and rebuild their family prior to the incident which left her in a coma?
Watch the clip to tomorrow’s Dante and Sam scenes HERE before it airs tomorrow on General Hospital!
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) have come a long way. It’s no secret that their individual love for Jason fueled their reciprocal disdain for each other. Today, the two women have come to an understanding as both Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) bff (Carly) and the love of his life (Sam). Sam and Carly developed mutual respect over the years, but in 2011 that wasn’t the case. Instead, insults and cat fights were the norm.
Historically, Sam resented Carly for who she was to Jason, while Carly took advantage of her’s and Jason’s relationship. And many times she called upon him even before she reached out to Sonny. GH recaps recall that Jason was rushed to the hospital after he left Sam to go with Carly. Because of this, Sam blamed Carly for what happened to Jason. That’s when their argument turned physical. According General Hospital history, reports confirm that Sam slaps Carly on August 9th, 2011. Reportedly, the epic b!tch slap happened right in the middle of GH, bear the nurses station. GH news indicates that the episode was so popular “Go Sam” trended on Twitter.
In this GH episode from 8-9-11, Jason Morgan was rushed to GH and is unconscious… nine years later, history repeats itself. Check out the scene below.
In the 1990’s Julia Barrett founded Port Charles’s own cosmetics company, Deception. She launched the business with Dominique (Shell Danielson) and Scotty Baldwin and hired Julia’s sister Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) as the very first ‘Face of Deception.’ According to General Hospital history, when Dominique passed away in 1994, Scotty and Julian left the company, and left Lucy to run things as CEO. From there, the rest is history.
Fast forward twenty some years and Deception has found a new face and is ready to launch the modern day version of the cosmetic company. Things were starting to fall into place for Lucy when she discovered Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha was the perfect woman to represent Deception and Lucy was ready to run with it. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy are working together to make sure this project becomes a success and they are counting on Sasha to help make that happen. Sasha is going through some major drama in her life after she and Michael broke up. Sasha is feeling overwhelmed and caved into being persuaded into taking drugs.
The Face Of Deception
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha’s drug use isn’t just a one time thing. Unfortunately, she is headed down a dark path which could jeopardize her own career as well as Deception as a whole.
As General Hospital rumors regarding the return of Brenda Barrett circulate, the story line has the potential to head into a direction no one saw coming. GH rumors suspect Marcil May return to General Hospital in the ear future after GH news and spoilers claim she is Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) mother. GH rumors hint that Sasha and Brenda will meet and connect during Sasha’s dark days as Brenda could return to step in to the role of representing the company. Lucy Coe will have to go to great lengths to keep Deception in a positive lime light, and by doing so it’s likely she will reach out to Brenda to come to Port Charles.
Previously, General Hospital Blog revealed Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) spoke of Marcil, stating that bringing the actress back would be a “no brainer.”Will Brenda return as part of multiple upcoming stories in Port Charles?
When GH fans think of General Hospital in the 1990s, we can’t help but revolve those thoughts around Jagger Cates. Antonio Sabato Jr. played Jagger Cates and quickly became ever woman’s celebrity crush.
Back then, women in Port Charles fought over John Jagger Cates, but he had a lengthy yet troubled relationship with Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne). Of course, there was also Brenda Barrett. His fiery and passionate relationship with Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) was the topic of conversation in Daytime TV.
According to General Hospital history, it’s been about two decades since Antonio Sabato Jr. played Jagger. But fans haven’t forgotten his name, or his face.
These days, Antonio Sabato Jr. has been making a name for himself in a different light. According to General Hospital news, Fox News reported on Sabato’s latest up and coming project. According to Fox News, Antonio Sabato Jr. revealed via Twitter on Thursday that he’s developing a “conservative movie studio for all patriots” and plans on taking on projects that other Hollywood studios “would never” do.
Antonio Sabato Jr. has supported our President Trump from the very beginning. Back in 2016 Sabato expressed his support for the conservative Oresident and received backlash for expressing his beliefs. He has since been blacklisted from Hollywood as a result of his expression. He like many others feel that their voice should not be muted, let alone his acting talents. Sabato Jr. is now making it his mission to do right by those in Hollywood that have had a similar experience while clashing conservatism and Hollywood.
Earlier this week, news broke out regarding the status of film production in Hollywood. There has been a lot of back and forth on whether or not the film industry was ready to reopen, and get their cast and crew back to the studios. The California Governor has laid out guidelines for the film industry to reopen safely. You can view those in this previous GH Blog post.
Soap Opera news reveals CBS Network has returned to the studio and CBS shows, Daytime TV included, are now back in production.
Although there has not been an update on the status of the ABC Network, particularly Prospect Studios, where General Hospital is filmed, it’s safe to say they’ll be soon to follow.
General Hospital news and spoilers have been keeping GH fans involved during this time, and continuing the anticipation of the upcoming story lines.
We are all anxious to see what is in store for the people of Port Charles but we respect that ABC Network is implementing healthy and safety guidelines for all. Soon enough, cast and crew will be returning to a clean and safe work environment.
