Sonny Corinthos Then and Now
Sonny Corinthos has been a key character on General Hospital since 1993, played by Maurice Benard. A powerful mob boss in Port Charles, he balances ruthless business tactics with fierce loyalty to his loved ones. He has faced many challenges, including bipolar disorder, turbulent romances, and deadly rivalries. Despite his criminal ties, he remains devoted to family and friends. It’s so obvious that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is innocent yet the one person she stood by even when he was wrong is now somehow against her.
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has a way with manipulating people and situations and successfully getting away with it. General Hospital rumors hint that all that is about to change but not before a major fallout between Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

General Hospital spoilers hint that Trina and Spencer won’t see eye to eye and Trina will feel betrayed by the person she stood by even when he didn’t deserve it.
General Hospital previews indicate that Trina and Spencer discuss her alibi. After learning that she told her lawyer Spencer was her alibi, his reaction cuts deep as Trina feels as though one of her best friends has turned on her while believing a known liar and criminal.
Everyone else seems to know Trina as a human being and understands she would never do something like this- especially to her besties Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Spencer and his father Nikolas seem to be two of the very few who are biting into Esme’s BS- with Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) coming in as a close third.
The walls are closing in on Esme despite the fact that Trina doesn’t have the support of Spencer. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) are going up to bat for Trina while trying to prove Esme’s guilt. If Esme thought Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was scary, wait until she really gets it from Carly!
