The role of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was recently and temporarily recast by The Young and the Restless star, Robert Adamson.
General Hospital fans noticed that the timing of Chad’s exit came right when Michael’s scenes were intensifying. With everything that has been going on with his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and in the courtroom as he and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) fought against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Michael has had some heavy dialogue. Adamson stepped in at an intense time when Michael has had a mouthful of darkness and family drama.
His scenes as Michael came and went, and now according to General Hospital comings and goings news, The Y&R star will step in yet again. General Hospital spoilers reveal Adamson will replace Duell for 6 upcoming episodes due to Covid related reasons.
Robert has done an impressive job taking on the heavy material as Michael battles for the well being of his son, Wiley (Viron Weaver), while going to war with his own father, Sonny Corinthos. GH news reports confirm Chad will return shortly.
