General Hospital fans are saying goodbye to a long time General Hospital actress, Tamara Braun. Braun originally started her journey with General Hospital when she arrived in Port Charles as the emotionally broken Carly Benson. Tamara took in the role after the departure of Sarah Joy Brown who originated the role.
Recently, in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Tamara Braun revealed the moment she knew her character Dr. Kim Nero was being written off the show. When Braun was asked about her thoughts regarding the story line involving Dr. Kim Nero drugging her ex, Drew Cain (Billy Miller) to make a baby, in a blunt and honest statement, Braun said, “Yeah, actually that was the first time that I was like, ‘Oh, they’re going to write me off.'” Tamara Braun disclosed she confided in fellow friend and co-star, William DeVry (Julian Jerome), addressing her hunch which inevitably became the end result.
The long time General Hospital actress disclosed the news of being let go came of a shock. She explained that just weeks before she was notified she was being let go and Kim was exiting Port Charles, Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, approached Braun and told her she is about to be part of a big story. She said, “Well, I was a little surprised, because weeks before, Frank told me that I had a really big story coming up that he was really excited about.” Evidently, those plans fell through as the story took a turn in a direction Braun didn’t see coming.
They’ve left the door open for Kim Nero to return. Hopefully some day the character can be written in a way that could bring her back from rock bottom.
Anthony Montgomery makes his return on General Hospita as Dr. Andre Maddox, the man tangled in the Drew (Billy Miller)/Jason (Steve Burton)/ Franco (Roger Howarth), memory-mapping story.

The girl’s name was Violet, she was Hayden’s daughter, and also Finn’s. Hayden was desperate to have Dr. Finn help to find out and treat their daughter’s illness. It came to a surprise to some GH views how calmly Dr. Finn reacted to the bombshell Hayden dropped. He always remained respectful and under control aside from one emotional outburst. He came around quickly and was ready to spring into action to help their daughter. This ultimately led to the family of 3 spending quality time together- in Anna’s (Finola Hughes) home. This poses a problem obviously since Anna and Finn are engaged. Although Anna has been on a trip for months, and Finn had no inclination as to when she would return, they are still engaged. Of course Anna walks in right when Hayden and Finn are having a very personal conversation.
All of this would likely make viewers think the story would go into a direction where Hayden and Finn would grow close, knocking Anna out of the equation. However, General Hospital news of Rebecca Budig’s surprising exit seems it will steer this story into another direction.

She is just starting to get over the heartbreak when she found out that Sasha Gilmore had been lying this entire time and posing as Nina’s daughter, under the orders of Valentin and Nina is ready to get revenge on him.
How will Nina take the news if the GH rumors are true and Nelle Benson is actually Nina’s biological daughter? Is Valentin keeping Nelle away from Nina with pure intentions? Earlier this month, DOOL fans were blindsided with the shocking news that the entire cast and crew of the show were let out of their legally binding contracts, thus allowing the individuals to seek out other work. The reason behind the contract release was due to the announcement that Days Of Our Lives would be on ‘indefinite hiatus.’ It was said that the daytime drama had enough episodes taped to carry them through Summer 2020, and then the decision would be made to renew or not renew for Days for another season.
This good news posted by Deadline, has reassured DOOL fans and Daytime fans alike, the show WILL continue on for season 56. Oh happy “DAYS!”

One tragic night, an accident happened which resulted in Alexis running down Kiefer with her car. It seemed to some that the incident may have been done on purpose with intent to harm or kill the boy who was dating her daughter. That truly wasn’t the case, and it was indeed an accident. Kendra doesn’t buy it. She is out to seek revenge on Alexis in the name of her brother. Her plan was to get close to Alexis as her ‘life coach’ and slowly poison her with thallium tainted protein drinks. Now that her plan has failed after TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Dr. Finn (Michael Easton) figured out what was happening to Alexis, she has to come up with plan B.
