Ex-husband and former General Hospital co-star Brandon Barash (who played Johnny Zacchara) filed a restraining order against Storms with claims of alleged mental health issues and instability in her housing situation.

Recently, Kirsten Storms returned to the set of General Hospital after taking some time off to move down to Tennessee. Storms’s ex husband (Brandon Barash) and father of her child, (Harper Barash (age 12)), claims that Kirsten is exhibiting concerning behavior. experiencing hallucinations and that “a friend” told him that she abuses Adderall.

Additional claims by Barash state that she’d been living in hotels from September of 2024 to June of 2025, and that her car is about to be repossessed. Despite her successful career as an actress, Brandon also claims that he loaned Storms $5,000 which remains unpaid. He also referred to Kirsten’s latest social media posts about her recent eviction notice, and being hacked at her Tennessee apartment.

The former General Hospital mobster also claims that Storms reached out to him (Barash) on May 19, 2025, stating that she was experiencing “delusions and hallucination” and “didn’t think she should have their daughter on her scheduled parenting time.” Currently, Kirsten has supervised visitation with her daughter.

Allegedly, Barash’s current wife helped Storms check into a hospital where she was placed on a psychiatric hold. Then, TMZ reports that Barash said Storms acted as if nothing happened upon being released from the hospital.

Actor Steve Burton has played Jason Quartermaine/Morgan for two and a half decades. A few years back, Steve left General Hospital to focus on family, and moved to Tennessee. It didn’t take long for Anderson, Barash, and Burton, to become rock stars.

Barash and Reeves have moved on from GH, while Anderson and Burton remain on the ever popular soap opera as their iconic roles, Jason and Spinelli.

Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash told Soap Opera Digest the news fans will find devastating. “We are splitting due to the cliche irreconcilable differences, but we’re splitting amicably,” Barash told SOD. :We have every intention of remaining a family through this and successfully co-parenting our kid and retaining a friendship in the efforts of raising her in a healthy environment.”

Kirsten Storms said, “We went to therapy for a long time, trying to figure out how to communicate better with each other.” Barash added, “But we’ve decided that raising our daughter in two separate homes would be a healthier choice for all of us.”
