Finally, not until later on did Sonny confide in Ava while pushing Carly and Jason away.

As Taylor Swift says, “I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked.” That’s exactly what happened when Sonny told Ava that she’s the only person he can trust, while tearing down Carly and Jason. Mistakenly, Sonny leaned on and confided in a former mobster. But you know what they say, once a mobster, always a mobster. Just kidding, I don’t know if anyone really says that. But seriously, GH has taught me that it’s pretty hard to leave the business.

First of all, Ava dated Sonny’s son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). That alone should be reason enough to keep his distance. Instead, Sonny ended up sleeping with his son’s ex! Then, Sonny blows off the fact that Ava killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), AND had a hand in his son Morgan’s death! How can he blow that off? Still, he got close to her in recent times despite her heinous deeds.

He wanted nothing more than for Nina to get what’s coming to her for sending him to Pentonville. Then, things changed and one thing led to another. That’s when Drew and Nina began a hate-sex relationship and pursued their desires.

General Hospital rumors hint that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may have been more invested in her and Drew’s “connection” than Drew ever was. For him, their relationship was strictly sexual. According to her X post below, she specifically mentioned Sona and Niva. In other words, Sonny and Nina, along with Nina and Ava fans. It looks like the doors have closed on Nina’s relationship with Sonny and her friendship with Ava Jerome. Sadly, Nina’s actions have kept her away from her family in fear that her toxic way would harm them.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has gone from a ruthless mobster to a loving mother and a dear friend. While there’s no doubt that she is a loving mother to her daughter Avery, her status as a “dear friend” is what’s in question.

Most definitely, Ava is a good friend to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). What’s between them is more than a friendship because Ava sees Trina as another daughter. Avery Corinthos is the light of Ava’s life, but losing Kiki (Hayley Erin) left a hole in her heart. Thankfully, Trina and Ava clicked. By no means does Trina take Kiki’s place, but she helps fill that void for Ava.

Port Charles is a small town, but Trina isn’t Ava’s only friend. Ava is a socialite. So she flutters around town making acquaintances, but has few deep connections. Seemingly, her strongest adult friendship is with Nina Reeves. Ava and Nina‘s friendship is quite strange given their history. According to GH, recaps, Nina kidnapped Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery at birth. She went on to become Nina’s bestie and married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Go figure.

Meanwhile, Sonny spends most of his time with Ava Jerome (Maura West). So much so that Michael (Chad Duell) and Carly (Laura Wright) are suspicious of her motives.

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Sonny’s next leading lady isn’t who most of us expect. Many fans have hoped for a CarSon reunion since Nina swept in and stole him from Carly. Eventually, I think that Sonny and Carly will find their way back to each other. GH rumors hint that it’s not going to be that simple. Now that Sonny and Carly are both on the market, it’s unlikely they’ll limit themselves to each other. True, Things may not have worked out between Sonny and Nina, and Carly and Drew, but that doesn’t mean Sonny and Carly will get back together so soon.

Lois and Sonny go way back, Ava and Sonny are two peas in a mobster pod. Then there’s Natalia. The new woman in town whose daughter is dating Kristina.
