GH Spoilers: A long Awaited Wedding is So Bittersweet

DrakefamilyThis week on General Hospital, spoilers reveal that a fan favorite couple will be tying the knot, again, and a loving family will finally be reunited.

Patrick and Robin Scorpio have gone through the hardest times since her death in the lab was faked, Jason was taken captive, and the Cassadines and Jerry Jacks help Robin prisoner, all while her family was led to believe she left them willingly. Since Robin’s alleged death and disappreance, Patrick almost married Sabrina, and then Sam. Patrick and Robin’s daughter Emma broke the heart’s of all the fans with her performance with Sam (Kelly Monaco) and then again with TV mom Robin (Kimberly McCullough) upon her return to Port Charles.

All Emma wanted was her mother, and now, that;s exactly what she is going to get. Patrick and Robin will be married this week, making all Emma’s dreams come true. For the fans though, our hearts will be warmed but soon heavy. As we know, Jason Thompson has left General Hospital, and taken a role on The Young and the Restless. Kimberly McCullough has had an on again- off again status with GH the past few years, which would not leave a stable home for TV daughter Brooklyn Silzer (Emma Drake) at GH.

After their wedding, we will soon say goodbye to the Scorpio-Drake trio that we have grown to love since Patrick Drake entered General Hospital an entire decade ago. The SCRUBS romance is one that will go down in history, and fans can only hope that some day,  as many have come and gone before, that Jason Thompson will return to the GH canvas and build another foundation for Robin and Emma.

GH Spoilers: Emma Leaves Port Charles with Robin and Patrick

BrooklynOUTBrooklyn Silzer has played the role of Emma Drake since 2011. Alongside her TV parents, Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio Drake) and Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), the trio made an unforgettably adorable family.

Since the news of Jason Thompson’s departure from GH was confirmed, and with McCullough’s on again off again status with GH, fans wondered what would happen to little Emma. Many thought that she could live with her grandmother, Anna Devane in order to remain in Port Charles. However, we now know that is not the case.

Brooklyn Silzer is OUT at General Hospital and will move along with her TV parents as the Drake family exits Port Charles.

The Scorpio Drake family will be greatly missed. Kimberly McCullough is open to any returns to General Hospital, and the show plans to bring Emma back from time to time, so long is it fits in with Brooklyn Silzer’s schedule.

General Hospital Shocking News: Jason Thompson OUT

PatrickEmmaIn the recent past few months, General Hospital rumors have been swirling, claiming that General Hospital’s Jason Thompson was leaving the show as Dr. Patrick Drake.

It has been known that Thompson’s contract was about due, and it was said that he was contemplating leaving his character, Patrick, behind. With the way the Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) story line is unfolding, it seems as of he felt this was the right time for Patrick to leave Port Charles. Although the Patrick and Sam pairing is loved by many, a Jason and Sam reunion has been long awaited by a very large fan base. It’s inevitable that eventually Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will be together again, leaving Patrick behind.

General Hospital news and spoilers have revealed that Jason Thompson has not renewed his contract with GH, and that he will be leaving the show.

Related to Patrick leaving Port Charles, fans have been wondering what now will happen with Emma Drake (Brooklyn Silzer). Her mother, Robin (Kimberly McCullough), is out of the picture, and since Patrick will now be gone, who will be left to care for Emma. Will Anna (Finola Hughes), become Emma’s legal guardian, or will Brooklyn Silzer also leave GH for lack of story line?
