General Hospital News: GH’s Tristan Rogers Shares His Thoughts On Current Day Soap Writing- Do You Agree With This Soap Opera Icon?

I’m recent years, social media has become the norm for people to express their opinions, feelings, and more for the world to read. Social media outlets aren’t just used by the world’s youth or up and coming, but has been mainstream now for a while to people of all ages to use social media as their vocal outlet. Sometime using a platform to express an unfiltered opinion can be risky.

Tristan Roger’s began his journey with the Daytime Drama, General Hospital, on December 2, 1980! Needless to say his role of Robert Scorpio has become one of the most iconic and well known characters in the history of the Soap Opera genre. Rogers, along with Emma Samms as Holly Sutton, and Finola Hughes as Anna Devane, has made quite a name for himself and the Port Charles trio. If anyone knows GH writing history, it’s Tristan!

In a recent tweet from Rogers, he gets nostalgic after rewatching an old scene where Robert met Holly after he had just remarried Anna. Rogers goes on to say, “Wow they don’t write em like that anymore. I’d forgotten. For me that closed the relationship. But a great exit.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Dr. Obrecht Finds Proof To Expose Peter, Drew Cain Alive?

Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been wrongfully accused and charged with Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) crimes involving the death of Drew Cain (Billy Miller). However, we all know that Peter framed Liesl, just as he framed Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) for the death of cult leader, Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).

Liesl is desperate to prove her own innocence. Everyone she loves, including her own daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has turned their back on her, believing that she committed said crimes. Jason and Sam Morgan (Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco) are onto Peter, but even with Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) help, they’ve found little to completely nail him. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), although isn’t Liesl’s biggest fan, he cares for Peter much less and will help to prove he is deceiving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), his girlfriend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and everyone else close to him.

General Hospital news revealed Kathleen Gati’s exit is only temporary. General Hospital spoilers and rumors have indicated that upon her return, she will bring back with her something so huge, it would prove she didn’t tamper with Drew’s plane in an attempt not murder.

General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Is Determined To Prove He Isn’t Chasing Holly’s Ghost, Is Holly Alive?

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has stirred the pot in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) world yet again. His supposed mother has his back no matter what. Although Anna is a smart woman, she seems to be blinded by her “son” and refuses to believe he could do the despicable acts that many have brought to Anna’s attention.

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna’s long time friend and partner, has tried to warn Anna that there is something off about Peter that he doesn’t trust. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) have also mentioned they think Peter has an agenda. Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is suffering greatly because she has been framed by Peter, and no one will acknowledge Obrecht’s pleas for justice.

Peter makes a lot of cryptic phone calls, Recently he reached out to his anonymous contact, scolding them for a foiled plan. General Hospital spoilers revealed Peter yelling that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) was not supposed to die. This was only meant to be a distraction for Scorpio. Anna and Robert discussed the possibility of Holly escaping death, but Anna warned Robert that she didn’t want to say anything until she had more solid information. Anna is afraid Robert cannot except Holly’s death and his chasing a ghost.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) isn’t about to let Ava Jerome (Maura West) run away with his family’s fortune. Nik and Ava are united legally, without love, under a ridiculous pre-nuptial agreement which states if either of them cheat on the other while remaining celibate with one another, that purpose will lose the right to the Cassadine fortune- with some tiny ins and outs about Spencer getting something no matter what).

Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) went missing shortly after Nikolas’ return to Port Charles. She was ran out of town and General Hospital rumors claim Nikolas knows exactly where Hayden is and he is actually the one keeping her in hiding. Hayden left behind her ex, and father of her daughter, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), along with leaving her daughter, Violet (Jophielle Love) with her dad and his fiance, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

General Hospital Spoilers: Liesl Returns With Proof Of Her Innocence, Brings Drew Cain Home

Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been framed for the murder of Drew Cain (Billy Miller) by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Drew’s plan was sabotaged and went down, but a body was never found. Peter had everything to lose if Drew remembered everything before the memory mapping so he made sure that Drew wouldn’t be a problem. He has been lying to everyone, including Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

Just when Liesl though things couldn’t get any worse after being deserted by practically everyone she loves, DA Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) informed Liesl that she is leaving Pentonville and being sent to stand trial in The Hague.

General Hospital spoilers reveal lasting memories are exactly what Anna, Finn, Violet, and their party guest are going to get. Between Peter August (Wes Ramsey) causing suspicion and tension among party guests, and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) acting like a miniature Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers), Violet’s party is about to take a wild turn.

General Hospital spoilers show Violet arguing with her mom, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) about attending the party. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) seems to be quite dependent on whoever is on the other end of his phone that’s attached to his ear. Peter has been lying to everyone he is close to along with other residents of Port Charles. His lies, schemes, and frame ups have gone on for far too long. Peter is always on edge, like he is about to jump out of his seat every time he suspects someone is on to him. And every time he thinks someone is on to him or getting too close to uncovering and exposing his lies, Peter makes a phone call. But who is Peter contacting every time?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Peter is dependent on whoever is on the other end to help clean up his messes, or take care of anyone who gets in his way. There are a few theories on who that person could be, including, Alex, Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) twin sister. General Hospital rumors claim Alex is the one helping out Peter, and there is much more to that story. Peter could also be conspiring with Sam Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) parole officer, Dolores Maloney (Andi Chapman). He wants Sam back in Pentonville and has every reason to keep in contact with Dolores. Jerry Jacks, (Sebastian Roche) a well known villain of Port Charles and the brother of Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks, (Ingo Rademacher), has meddled into the lives of Jax’s family and friends, along with many others. Jerry has been the ringleader and many heinous crimes committed against the people of Port Charles and holds no boundaries. It wouldn’t be a huge leap to think that maybe Peter is working with Jerry. The possibilities could go on, but the fact remains is that Peter is definitely conspiring with someone, and he isn’t working alone.

If Peter is working with Anna’s sister, Alex, it could mean something much bigger. General Hospital rumors claim that Anna is not Peter’s mother and Peter is well aware of that. Previously, General Hospital spoilers revealed Anna Devane is Peter’s mother, and his father is Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). General Hospital News: Kimberly McCullough Opens Up About Returning To GH And Body Image

Kimberly McCullough gets real and vulnerable as she opens up about returning to General Hospital as the role she originated back in 1985, little Robin Scorpio. McCullough made her debut on the Daytime Drama when she was just 7 years old. She played alongside the names in Daytime, such as, Finola Hughes who plays her mother, Anna Devane, Tristan Rogers who plays her father, Robert Scorpio, and John J, York, aka Uncle Mac, who raised Robin, just to name a few.

In recent years, McCullough has been on and off the set GH after her character Robin, husband Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), and their daughter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Silzer), moved to California. Robin and Emma have been back to visit Anna a few times here and there, but McCullough has not played a large role on GH since her character moved away for work. Kimberly has been working on Directing, pulling most of her focus on being a Director rather thank actor. McCullough has directed many productions, some including, Pretty Little Liars, K.C. Undercover, Shake It Up, and more.

In previous General Hospital news and spoilers, McCullough had posted on Instagram, mentioning she had retired as an actor. Currently, McCullough tells Soaps In Depth she is open to bringing Robin back to Port Charles. She went on about how hectic her current work schedule is, and with having an almost 2 year old son, she really wants to spend her time off from directing at home. However, she does proceed to say, “No, I don’t think it;s the last you’ll see if me, but you know, I also don’t look like an actor anymore. I’ve gained weight and I’m fine with that. For me to maintain that level of fitness, it’s like being an athlete. You have to maintain it. It takes money, time, effort, and focus- and I’m focused on other things. I’m focused on my brain. I’m focused on being a mother, and on growing in other ways. And honestly, I just don’t have the time to do that right now.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Won’t Be Going On Any Off Site Adventures This Summer, Finola Forced To Change Summer Plans

In recent years, General Hospital actress Finola Hughes has been following a similar pattern when it comes to her time on and off of work at GH. Hughes’ character, Anna Devane is a thrill seeker and an adventure goer. Come Summer time, Anna usually finds herself on some type of mission to solve a crime or to seek out the truth before some grand disaster. However, this coming Summer things will be different.

General Hospital spoilers indicate Anna Devane won’t be involved in any off site adventure seeking this Summer, and Anna will be sticking around Port Charles. General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Finola Hughes was forced to change her Summer plans as a result of the global pandemic, Covid-19. General Hospital Spoilers: Robert Scorpio To Liesl’s Rescue, New Romance In The Works?

Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is in a tough spot for multiple reasons. The main reason being that the despicable Peter August (Wes Ramsey), son of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) has framed Liesl for all of his crimes. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is dead set on believing that Dr. Obrecht is the one who was an integral part of the brain mapping plan with Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Franco (Roger Howarth). She’s convinced that Liesl tampered with Drew’s plane because she was afraid he would remember what happened, incriminating her. Anna wants to believe that her son, or the man whom she thinks is her son, Peter, is a good man. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is trying to knock some sense into Anna. He told her flat out that he suspects a frame up based on everything he knows about Peter, Liesl, Drew, Franco, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton), etc. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) went to visit her mutter in Pentonville, the two had a talk, but Britt still can’t bring herself to believe her that she is innocent. Britt says she can’t get involved for her own personal reasons, she doesn’t want to get wrapped up in the drama. Britt ultimately walked away, leaving Liesl all alone with no one to stand by her side. Liesl’s sketchy past has tainted her credibility with most everyone she knows. This is where Robert comes in.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Robert Scorpio is the only one supporting Dr. Obrecht and believes she is innocent other than Jason, Sam, and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). Jason, Sam, and Spinelli are working hard on proving Peter framed Liesl before they have gotten a chance to pay her a visit and let her know they believe she is innocent and absolutely right about Peter. They need time to uncover more evidence before they want to give Dr. Obrecht hope for freedom. Sam has a vested interest in exposing Peter for herself as well. If she can prove Peter’s guilt, it will prove Sam’s innocence along with Liesl’s. A lot is at stake and they will do everything they can to uncover the truth with proof.

General Hospital rumors hint that Dr. Obrecht will be extremely grateful for the support she is receiving from Robert, and the two form a special bond as they work through this together. Robert and Liesl could possibly catch feelings as he works to prove her innocence.

When all of this unfolds, it’s likely Anna will be in a bad place. She will have been hit with the truth about Peter, and have her old flame and close friend Robert fall for a woman she cannot stand and who has harmed Anna in so many ways.
