General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) get the shock of a lifetime when Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. Furthermore, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) at an undisclosed location. After Ava presumed him dead, Nikolas is actually alive and about to make an appearance.

General Hospital casting news reports have yet to confirm any recast for Nikolas Cassadine. In a shocking GH news revelation, it was previously confirmed that Marcus Coloma had been let go from his role. Coloma played the dark Prince, Nikolas Cassadine, for 3 years. When his contract was up, TPTB over at General Hospital did not negotiate a renewal.
