The General Hospital LIVE episode last Friday left fans in awe with just about every scene. From Nikolas, Elizabeth, and Hayden, to Sam and Jake, Anna, Sabrina, and Carlos, to Nina and Franco… but at the end of the episode, fans got a huge shock! It was a blast from the past to see General Hospital’s Lily Rivera (Lilly Melgar) roll the credits of Friday’s show.
Lilly Melgar played Sonny’s love interest, wife, and mother of his unborn child, Lily Rivera. Sonny (Maurice Benard) lost his wife and unborn child to a car bomb that was set up by her own father, Sonny being the target.
The death of Lily had a huge part in making Sonny’s character who he is today. The tragic event has toxified his love life, causing him to resist with all serious relationships, fearing the worst. The whole reason Sonny left Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) at the altar is because he was afraid that everyone he gets close to will die.
Sabrina Santiago (Teresa Castillo) and Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise, coincidentally with the same last name as Lily), have been romantically involved for many years. Sabrina came to Port Charles with the story that her mother was a nurse, but has passed away. General Hospital rumors are floating around, claiming that Sabrina’s story about her mom is untrue, and that she is actually the daughter of Lily Rivera and Sonny Corinthos. Did Sonny’s wife and child actually die that night in the car bomb, or have they surfaced, alive and well, decades later?

The most recent General Hospital spoilers are big ones, and we won’t have to wait long for their big reveal. Coming up by the end of this week, much will unfold in the story line revolving around Jake (Jason Morgan), Sam, Julian, and Duke. Fans are expected to witness some heat between Jake and Julian Jerome, ultimately involving Sam. It has been revealed in gh spoilers that Sam will make a shocking discovery.
GH rumors claim that the residents of Port Charles believe that Jake is the one who killed Duke Lavery. In Sam’s shocking discovery, will she learn that Jake DID kill Duke, he did NOT kill Duke, or will she get closer to finding out that Jake Doe is really her husband, Jason Morgan?
Watch General Hospital this week to find out!
Despite the rumors circulating the internet regarding two General Hospital stars, General Hospital Blog can confirm that they are nothing more than rumors. Last week, fans were worried that fan favorite, the beautiful Rebecca Herbst was on her way out of Port Charles, and leaving GH altogether.
Some nasty rumors, that not only involved the characters of General Hospital, but the actors who play those parts hit social media after a certain gossip website posted that Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Webber) and Billy Miller (Jake Doe/Jason Morgan) strongly disliked one another on the set of GH, and that Herbst was on her way out because of Billy Miller. It was said that Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer) was set to return for a few episodes to escort Liz out of Port Charles. These rumors are completely UNTRUE. There is absolutely no animosity between Becky and Bill, and Becky herself said she is staying with GH, and she has heard nothing of Jonathan Jackson’s return to Port Charles.
In a recent article in the ABC section of Soaps In Depth, Rebecca Herbst puts these rumors to rest, confirming they are completely false.”This is news to me!” Herbst tellsSoaps In Depth. “I wasn’t aware this rumor was circulating, nor have I heard anything about Lucky coming back to town for a few weeks.” As for what’s going on in Elizabeth’s current storyline, Herbst shares with a smile, “All I can say is, it’s gonna be interesting!”
Certainly, true GH fans would realize that at this point in time in the story, it would be highly unlikely that Elizabeth would be written off the canvas. With all that is going on with the big Jake Doe reveal, Liz will be playing a HUGE role in the story that will rock Port Charles!
Previously, General Hospital Blog reported that long time GH vet, Ian Buchanan is leaving General Hospital. Ian Buchanan made the annoucement to fans through social media. GH fans, especially fans od Duke and Anna are saddened by the news of his departure.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that during the Nurses Ball, a mob war is going to break out, and Duke is caught in the crossfire. It has been rumored that this mob hit is an attempted hit, but also that Sonny wonders who is responsible for the death of his friend and business man. With that information, GH rumors have surfaced, claiming that the “attempted” mob hit will be Duke’s and everyone will think he has died. We can hope right?
As the Nurses Ball comes to a close, and the drama is about to go down with the Jerome and Corinthos organizations, what do you think will happen to Duke Lavery? Hopefully Ian Buchanan’s out from GH will leave room for him to return some day to reprise his role as the genuine, handsome, love of Anna’s life, Duke.
Have Duke and Anna danced the Tango for the last time? Let us know what you think, leave a comment below.
It’s been quite a while since Alicia Leigh Willis, (ex-Courtney Matthews) was part of General Hospital. Willis played mob boss, Sonny Corinthos’ half sister from 2001-2006. In 2006 Courtney, the mother of Nikolas’ son little Spencer Cassadine died from a virus that plagued Port Charles, brought on by none other than the vicious villain, Jerry Jacks. Her son Spencer mentions her from time to time, wishing he got a chance to know his mother.
Last week an announcement was made on the official Alicia Leigh Willis website, www.aliciaonline.net, with news of a General Hospital event with Tyler Christopher and Natalia Livingston (ex-Emily Quartermaine). You can catch these three as part of the General Hospital fan club weekend in August. For full details click on the link to the official Alicia Leigh Willis website.
With news of her involvement in a General Hospital fan event, we have reason to believe that Willis will return to General Hospital as Courtney Matthews for May Sweeps. Alicia was among four actors in the GH Fan February contest. Fans have voted, and whoever was chosen will appear in early May for GH’s May Sweeps. Along with Alicia, fans were able to choose from 3 other characters, Stephen Nicholas (Stefan Cassadine), Ron Hale (Mike Corbin), and Carly Schroeder (Serena Baldwin).
GH rumors have speculated that Alicia Leigh Willis’ character Courtney will be the one to return this week on General Hospital. Stau tuned to GH’s May Sweeps to find out!
General Hospital’s Executives Ron Carlivati and Frank Valentini are always stirring the pot with their General Hospital spoiler tweets. They know exactly how to get fans interested and coming back for more. Last night via twitter, Ron Carlivati leaked a photo from what will be shown today on General Hospital.
Kelly Thiebaud has come back to GH as Dr. Britt Westbourne, The Britch, and she and Brad are at his apartment. Carlivati reveals that a shocking moment will happen at the Nurses Ball that causes Britt and Brad to react in a certain way as they are watching from home.
Are you ready to find out what has Brad and Britt’s jaws dropped? Let the Nurses Ball 2015 fun begin!
For many weeks, General Hospital rumors have been circulating, claiming that Jake will finally be revealed as Jason Morgan during this year’s Nurses Ball, only after Patrick proposes to Sam. Something bug is definitely going to go down and it happens to drop right in Sam’s lap.
General Hospital’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini revealed a GH spoiler via twitter, stating that a huge bombshell drops in Sam’s lap. What will Sam do with this shocking news?
Will Sam find out Jake is Jason right after saying yes to marrying Patrick? Don’t miss a minute of this year’s Nurses Ball to find out!
The Nurses Ball will debut at the end of this week which means General Hospital is going to be full of surprises. This week, General Hospital spoilers were leaked, stating that Brad will be getting a surprise visitor.
Since Brad’s character hasn’t really been developed as far as long lost friends and family, it might be easy to assume that his surprise visit will be from none other than his bestie, The Britch, or Britt Westbourne if you will.
General Hospital Blog has previously reported that Kelly Thiebaud could be on her way back to General Hospital as Dr. Britt Westbourne. It looks as though those rumors are true and we will be seeing Britt as soon as this week on General Hospital.
Jason (Jake) and Sam fans are about to get their party pants on… it’s getting closer and closer to the Nurses Ball which General Hospital spoilers have indicated is when Jake will be revealed as the one and only Jason Morgan.
In a GH spoilers promo, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) are discussing a secret that they are both aware of, and Liz wants to make sure that Nikolas doesn’t have any intention on telling the truth. Previous GH rumors have claimed that Liz finds out that Jake is Jason but wants it kept under wraps.
General Hospital Head Writer Ron Carlivati dropped a hit for JaSam fans today on twitter. GH spoilers have teased that sooner rather than later, Jake will be revealed as Jason to the residents of Port Charles. Check out Ron’s tweet, hinting that those GH spoilers are about to happen very soon.
A lot is going to happen the this week, leading up to the Nurses Ball and after. There wouldn’t be a Nurses Ball without a few obstacles to say the least.
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) is pregnant with Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) baby and her good friend Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) actually stepped up and claimed the baby was his. Now with Ned leaving Port Charles, (Wally Kurth announced he is leaving General Hospital and going to Days of Our Lives), Olivia will have to keep this secret alone, as well as have this baby alone… unless, Julian finds out the baby is his.
General Hospital spoilers for this week reveal Olivia will be expressing that she feels there is something wrong. Olivia is possibly going into labor. What we are uncertain of, is whether or not she will deliver a healthy baby or if something dramatic will happen Will Olivia have a Nurses Ball baby? We want to know what the fans think, should Olivia tell Julian the truth about the baby?
