Ironically, the thought that coming forward with the truth will set you free is virtuous and cleansing although damning to one’s reputation. Furthermore, admitting involvement in activity that caused a series of unfortunate events has its consequences. For Elizabeth, the guilt of it all weighs on her even though she’s free and clear where the law is concerned. However, just because she won’t experience legal ramifications doesn’t mean she’s off the hook.

General Hospital recaps recall Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) takes her aggressions out on Elizabeth. The slap has GH fans hyped on debating whether or not Liesl is justified in slapping Liz. Until now, Liesl had no knowledge of Elizabeth’s contribution to Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death.

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) pushes his luck when his big plan becomes a close call. Despite Dex’s vow of loyalty, Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) trust in his employee wavers. Rightfully so, Sonny suspects Dex is hiding something. As a result, Sonny takes the next step in uncovering the truth.

On the business front, Dex has every reason to believe things will go according to plan. However, he doesn’t anticipate Sonny’s suspicions. As Dex reassures Josslyn that he’ll be okay, she reciprocates by affirming that she will stay put during the Pikeman meeting. According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex sets out to carryout his and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) mission to take Sonny down. But what he doesn’t know is that he’s walking into a trap.

Seemingly, the tables will turn on Dex. What he thinks is the ultimate sting is actually a trap. As it turns out, Sonny isn’t blind to his employee’s stealth intentions. Therefore, he collusively postponed the Pikeman meeting. Unfortunately for Dex and Michael, plans won’t pan out and expected and Dex becomes subject to Sonny’s wrath.

Moreover, Josslyn’s inability to let things shake out on their own, plays a major role, in Dex’s immediate fate. According to General Hospital spoilers, Josslyn follows Dex to what they think is the Pikeman meeting that could end Sonny forever. Little do either of them know, Sonny is step ahead.

Josslyn stays far enough away to remain inconspicuous but interferes when Sonny pins Dex against the wall demanding answers. Unbeknownst to Steve’s fans, he and his wife of 23 years split. Sheree’s announcement threw off fans, as it was assumed the baby was an addition to the Burton family. Steve, Sheree, and their children, Brooklyn, Makena, and Jack, seemed picture perfect. It wasn’t until Steve cleared the air regarding Sheree’s pregnancy that the long time couple revealed their split. As history tells it, the people of Port Charles recognize Elizabeth and Nikolas’s friendship for representing loyalty and strength. Always coming to each other’s rescue, Liz and Nik knew they could always depend on one another. And due to Elizabeth’s unwavering loyalty to Nikolas, she was roped in to help him keep Esmé captive. During that time, Nurse Webber tended to Esme’s prenatal needs.

Although the situation wasn’t exactly optimal, the prenatal care that Esme received from Elizabeth was genuine. After a few surprisingly effective discussions with her Nurse, Esme displayed a real bond with her unborn baby boy. A Road to Redemption for Esme?!

General Hospital spoilers reveal Avery’s answer to Bradford’s million dollar question sheds light on what’s to come for Esme. As the three stars discuss her role, Bradford asks about Esme’s amnesia storyline. At first, Esme’s acquaintances and GH fans alike assumed the young pregnant woman was faking. Then, as the story unfolded, it became clearer that Esme is an amnesiac. Now, fans want to know if amnesia is Esme’s road to redemption.

Bradford asked Avery if this storyline is potentially a blank slate/ rewrite for Esme. Pohl confessed, “I, I think that that is where this is heading but I don’t have concrete yes/nos on that.”
