This Summer, ABC launched a night time drama, Grand Hotel. Bryan Craig, along with co-stars Eva Longoria, and Roselyn Sanchez, to name a few, received some disappointing news regarding their career. Since the announcement of the cancellation of ABC’s Grand Hotel, rumors have been swirling around the idea of Morgan coming back from the dead.
Bryan Craig has been a hot topic lately in the ABC circuit. We all know and love him as son of mob boss, Sonny Corinthos, but more recently, his character, Javier Mendoza captured the interest of new viewers.
Morgan’s death took a toll on the city of Port Charles, and especially impacted the Corinthos clan. Sonny and Carly have been through the ringer when it comes to trials and tribulations surrounding family life, particularly their children. Most recently, although the birth of their new baby girl is a happy blessing, Sonny and Carly are still up against a difficult situation. Baby Donna has been diagnosed with Spina Bifida and will undergo major surgery.
The Corinthos family needs some light shed on all of the darkness that hangs over them like a storm cloud. Hoping that Donna’s surgery will be a success, there is also another thing to hope for.
General Hospital spoilers reveal ABC has cancelled Grand Hotel, which means Bryan Craig will be free to pursue work elsewhere. General Hospital rumors point directly to the obvious- a General Hospital return for Bryan Craig.
If Morgan Corinthos makes his way back to Port Charles, the Corinthos family will be whole again.
Would you like to see Bryan Craig reprise his role as Morgan Corinthos on GH?
Julian has come a long way for Kim. What he has become is something he could never do for any past love- including Alexis. Kim was the one woman who was able to get Julian to leave the mob life behind and do right by Kim.
Their relationship seems to be one sided. Kim even had to give Julian an entirely new persona in order to accept him. Julian changed his entire life for her, all while she has been pining for Drew. When referring to her encounter with Franco, Kim tells Julian, “It was like I was reconnecting with Oscar’s Father.” Julian knew right then and there that Drew has been what she has really wanted this entire time. He also came to the realization that he gave up his old life for her. “Yeah of course you want that, you want him. Why would you want the guy who sold his restaurant to follow you to New York. Why would you want the guy who changed his life to become a better man for you? I mean, for us? Right?!” It looks as though there is no turning back for Julian “Charlie” and Kim. At this point, Kim is so far gone with her grief for Oscar, and her obsession with Drew, and Julian isn’t blind to the fact that he changed for Kim and now he isn’t what she wants.
Julian has nothing to lose in love and losing so much would be the perfect motivation to turn to his old ways. Is Julian a changed man forever, or will he always turn to the mob life when things fall apart?
It’s no secret that Carly (Laura Wright) has been put through the ringer lately. As she said herself, just as she thought she was starting to heal, a year after Morgan’s death, she is now feeling like she is losing her mind. -All because of one person, Nelle (Chloe Lanier).
We all know that she is indeed the Carly we know and love, strong, sharp, feisty, and dead on about Nelle. Although Sonny seems to think otherwise. Jason is always in Carly’s corner, and rightfully so. Sonny underestimates Jason’s point of view of what is going on with Carly since Jason wasn’t around to see her grieve for Morgan. However, Jason has always been more in tune to Carly’s true self than her own husband. That being said, her daughter, Josslyn is also questioning the well being of her mother. She has noticed some changes in Carly’s behavior and is sensing there is something going on that Carly isn’t disclosing. Although Joss is right about that, there is something Carly hasn’t disclosed to Joss, but that doesn’t mean Carly is losing her mind.
So far she lacks support from Sonny, is being pressured by Michael to back off, Dr. Collins believes Carly is just anxiety ridden and prescribed pills to “take the edge off,” and her mom, Bobbie, is also skeptical to believe Carly. If someone doesn’t show Carly some faith and support, she could fall so far down hill that she could hit rock bottom.
After all, that is Nelle’s intentions. Nelle plans to destroy Carly and get her out of the way, so that nothing stands between her and Michael. Carly is her biggest obstacle, however, Nelle doesn’t know Carly as well most. Carly isn’t the type to buckle. Carly isn’t going to just crumble and accept her new, weakened spirit. Right now, Nelle thinks she is smart, she thinks they harder she pushes Carly, she will be able to drive her so far off the rails that she won’t be a problem any longer. Luckily, that’s not how Carly operates. The further she is tested, the more she will come back fighting, and that’s just what she is going to do to expose Nelle once and for all. Carly has a sixth sense for snakes like Nelle, and Carly will come out on top as always.
Are you tired of Nelle sneaking around Port Charles? Let us know what you think! Is this story line ready to wrap up? What will happen to Nelle’s character? Will she be pushed out of Port Charles, or stick around to pester another PC family?
It’s always refreshing to see our favorite characters return to the canvas. We know that on soaps, it doesn’t matter how many times someone has been kidnapped and fed to mobsters, fallen into the water off the pier, burned in a lab, hotel fire, or car explosion, there is always room to come back.
Little Emma Drake left Port Charles when her parents, Robin and Patrick moved to California to practice medicine. The actress, Brooklyn Rae Silzer, posted on her personal Instagram account, announcing the return of Emma Drake to Port Charles. Brooklyn is back on set, however, the air date of her return has not yet been disclosed.
The loss of Morgan Corinthos has been a tragedy for all of those close to the son of mob boss, Sonny Corinthos, and his doting mother, Carly. Laura Wright (Carly), Maurice Benard (Sonny), Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), Hayley Erin (Kiki), Chad Duell (Michael), and Maura West (Ava), have truly brought their raw emotions to the table as the after math of Morgan’s death is still unfolding.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Bryan Craig isn’t quite finished with his role as Morgan Corinthos. In an interview with ABC Soaps in Depth, some confusion fans have about Bryan Craig’s exit has cleared. This clarification involves the original news stating that Bryan Craig will play his role as Morgan until November. However when Morgan “died” in the car bomb after stealing Julian’s (William Devry) car (in October), this raised questions from fans. It has been confirmed that Bryan Craig will be back as Morgan and will remain on the show through November Sweeps.
What’s next?
It is uncertain whether Morgan will come back in Sonny’s mind, as a ghost, or alive!
Many fans are hoping for a recast for the role of Morgan, as they would rather not lose the character altogether, after Bryan’s exit.
What are your thoughts? Would you like to see the role of Morgan Corinthos be recast?
Yes, it’s true! General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ingo Rademacher will be back on set of General Hospital as Jasper Jax for Fall Sweeps.
Recently, Jax returned to Port Charles to deal with the drama of finding Josslyn’s kidney daughter, which his ex-wife Carly was eager to get answers regarding their daughter’s health. Ever since finding out that Elizabeth Webber’s son Jake, wasn’t the donor, for obvious reasons, (he turned up alive), Carly has been perplexed as to who could have given the kidney that saved Josslyn’s life.
The last time Jax was in Port Charles, he seemed very anxious and uneasy around Carly and Nelle. He discouraged the entire act of digging into Josslyn’s kidney donor situation from the very beginning. But why? Does Jax know something about Nelle that Carly, Sonny, Joss, and the rest of us are in the dark about? Since Nelle was a match for Joss’ kidney, General Hospital rumors have suggested that Nelle has to be related to Joss in some way, and that perhaps she is Jax’s daughter.
There is much more to this story which will unfold this coming Fall Sweeps, when Ingo Rademacher returns as Jax.
Nelle has an agenda that fans just cannot put their finger on. GH rumors have teased that she wants to move in on Sonny and get Carly out of the picture. Nelle has everyone in Port Charles fooled when it comes to her true intentions for hanging around the Corinthos family. She’s always up in their business and at the same time, she plays it off like she doesn’t want to get involved. She has made some shady comments, suggesting that what’s in her mind doesn’t match the actions she plays out toward Carly, Sonny, and the rest of the family. She mentioned in a disgruntled tone that it wasn’t her choice to give her kidney to Josslyn. We know it wasn’t out of the goodness of Nelle’s heart that Josslyn got her kidney.
What does she want and who is she? Based on the fact that Nelle told Sonny the story about her best friend and the car accident that is eerily familiar to that of Carly’s story back form her youth, has led to GH rumors that Nelle wants to take Carly’s place, she wants to BE CARLY. Whatever it is, Nelle has something to hide and we have just begun to see through her shady ways.
Watch General Hospital during Fall Sweeps to see this story unfold.
The last couple weeks have been an emotional wreck for General Hospital’s leading family. The Corinthos clan was hit hard with news regarding Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Ever since Ava (Maura West) messed with his medication, Morgan’s bi-polar disorder has been spiraling out of control. Carly and Sonny can’t seem to figure out why all of a sudden Morgan had been acting as if his bi-polar was no longer under control, and even questioned whether or not he had stopped taking his meds. Morgan himself didn’t even know. He had thought he was taking the proper medication.
One thing led to another, which resulted in Morgan becoming manic, turned to alcohol after seeing what he thought was Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) in the boat house. Morgan became self destructive, and stole Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) car. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) stepped in, called Morgan, and had successfully convinced him to stop driving, pull over, and talk. Little did they know, there was a bomb and as soon as Morgan set foot out of the car, it exploded.
There is NOT A BODY.
This is an age old soap opera story when a character “dies” and the family moves on as if they had died, however no body has been accounted for, in order to confirm the death. We all saw the car explode, but what no one saw, not even Jason Morgan, is there Morgan went. Could he have jumped before the blast got him? Was he injured by the explosion and cannot make it back? General Hospital rumors have indicated that perhaps Morgan is using this opportunity to fake his own death. He was running away from his problems, including his situation with PCU, Kiki, his parents, etc.
Sonny had a vision.
On Wednesday’s episode of General Hospital, a grieving Sonny heard the voice of a young boy. He called out to that boy and said, “Morgan?” As Sonny looked up, he saw the little boy. The boy put his hand on Sonny’s shoulder and asked, “Why can’t you find me?!”
Rumors are flying that Bryan Craig will be recast, and Morgan Corinthos will turn up alive. General Hospital spoilers have not yet confirmed a recast for this role.
General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on news of a recast.
GH Blog wants your input! Do you think the role of Morgan Corinthos will be recast?
The Scorpio-Drake family is off living their new life in California. Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough), and their daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Silzer), started a new life in California after certain circumstances lead them to California for work opportunities.
Although they left Port Charles, they still have very close ties to the residents in their home town, including Robin’s mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). General Hospital spoilers reveal the return of Robin on screen will take place on Thursday, October 27th.
Kimberly McCullough’s return to General Hospital will bring opportunity to develop certain story lines. It is unsure if actress Brooklyn Silzer will be accompanying her TV mom in reprising their roles as Robin and Emma. However, Jason Thompson will not be returning due to his current role as Billy Abbott on CBS’ The Young and the Restless.
There is nothing new about plot twists and turns when it comes to Daytime TV, and this time around is no different, yet each twist and turn becomes a shock to fans. Right now, as we see it, Sonny wanted revenge on Julian for killing Duke, and trying to kill Alexis. The Sonny we know can’t be reasoned with when he has his mind set on doing something. Carly, Jason, and Michael all warned Sonny not to go after Julian. These events lead fans to believe that Sonny himself is responsible for the death of his own son, by putting a hit on Julian with that car bomb. Carly is beside herself, thinking that her own husband is the reason their child is dead.
General Hospital spoilers indicated that Sonny isn’t to blame. GH rumors indicate that is was Julian himself who placed the bomb on his own car in order to make it look like Sonny was trying to kill him. Was Julian planning to get into his car, no way. It looks as though it was all a set up, and he was willing to sacrifice his “employee” to accomplish this act.
What Julian didn’t expect was that his car would get stolen, and someone other than his employee would meet their demise. While Sonny and Carly now fight to get through their son’s death, and deal with the fact that they believe Sonny is to blame, Julian will sit back and let everything unfold while staying silent.
Who do you think set that car bomb in motion? Was it a set up for Sonny to take the fall, or did Sonny really kill his own son with his retaliation against Julian Jerome?
Now THIS is an election in which I’m excited to participate. We want to know what the fans think! Since news of Steve Burton leaving his role as Dylan McAvoy on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, and Billy Miller’s contract information with GH is left unknown, fans are wondering if Steve will be back as Jason.
We want to know who you’d choose to play the iconic Jason Morgan.
