James Franco Returning to General Hospital?

The man who wears many hats, including gracing us with his presence as Robert Frank (Franco) on General Hospital has sent out a very interesting Facebook message. In his message he thanked all his friends at General Hospital for their support. Then he proceeded to tell fans to wait and see what happens.

Judging from his post, and the recent spoiler claiming Franco becomes a new man after surgery really leads me to believe James Franco will be back on the set of GH. Please stay tuned, as I will post as soon as I hear further news and confirmation of this speculation.

Comedy Central’s Roast of James Franco -Francophrenia

This Labor Day, Comedy Central will be roasting the multi-talented, actor-producer, James Franco.

According to an article from the LA Times, “The special, which will tape in Los Angeles in August, will feature stars, comedians and others taking humorous, sharp-edged aim at Franco. “If only James Franco was a more successful, multi-hyphenated incessant creative risk-taker in different media, he’d be the perfect person to roast,” said Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming for Comedy Central. “Oh well … I suppose we’ll just have to make do.”  Said Franco: “I’ve dreamed about this Roast for as long as I can remember.”

General Hospital fans, it’s time to get excited! Have you been wanting to see the Tribeca Film Festival’s Francophrenia by James Franco? Now is your chance! Francophrenia, the documentary which was based on Franco’s work on General Hospital as the psychotic, artistic criminal, Robert Frank (Franco), will be featured on Comedy Central after the airing of the James Franco Roast this Labor Day.

Another Quartermaine Heir

Heather holds the key to what will determine the future for ELQ. She read in Edward’s will that there is another Quartermaine heir. Back in 2009, Franco encountered Carly and Joss at the Christmas tree lot. He told her that he once had a daughter named Lauren, and that his wife was a bitch. He didn’t elaborate on anything else. It looks as if we will be seeing Franco’s daughter on the canvas and she will be the next Quartermaine heir. Here is the video again to when Franco tells Carly about his daughter.

Is James Franco Returning to GH?

General Hospital has recently posted a casting call for a woman in her 20’s who has a tendency of getting in trouble. Rumors are circulating that she will be playing a woman who will eventually be revealed to be Franco’s daughter. Back in 2009, Franco ran into Carly at the Christmas tree lot and briefly touched on the topic of him having a child. He even said her name was Lauren, and his wife was a bitch. With this as a possible new story, could Franco resurface to accompany his daughter? Only time will tell what is in store for the people of Port Charles!

General Hospital’s Laura Wright Tweets ‘Hints for Today’

WOW! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! So I just woke up and checked Twitter as I usually do because my phone is beside my bed… I was surprised to read a Tweet from Laura Wright (Carly) regarding today’s airing episode. Today is the cliffhanger Friday for the Jason Morgan/Steve Burton exit. So fans, tell us what you think all these hints from the beautiful Laura could mean?!

Forbes Magazine on ‘Francophrenia’ (Or, Don’t Kill Me, I Know Where the Baby Is.)

I came across another article about James Franco, his involvement with General Hospital, his experience on the soap opera, and the film premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival, he created about it called ‘Francophrenia’ (Or, Don’t Kill Me, I know Where the Baby Is). Unfortunately, this article was not like others I have read in the past. As a fan of both General Hospital and James Franco, this article offended me. It’s almost as if it hurt my feelings, or that I felt hurt and betrayed for GH as a whole. The article goes about how James Franco wanted to bring the absurdity of soap operas to light. In my opinion, they are basically saying Franco only experimented with General Hospital to poke fun at the genre. My take on James Franco and his experience on GH was always the exact opposite, and frankly, to read this Forbes article, I was quite disappointed and let down. However, I have read so many other pieces of information that state Franco was happy to be part of GH and it was a learning experience for him. I have also learned that he credits those who work on soaps for their dedication, hard work, and memorization skills. Click here to read the Forbes article, “James Franco Tells His Side of the ‘General Hospital’ Story.” Feel free to leave a comment on the post and let me know what you think!

Happy Birthday James Franco!

Happy Birthday to James Franco! Thank you for taking and interest and being a part of the legendary soap opera, General Hospital. It was a pleasuring seeing you on my screen. I thought Franco was intense, mysterious, and kept me coming back for more. Thanks again for your GH support! Happy Birthday!

James Franco: Francophrenia and General Hospital

With just one day away for the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival, I am just filled with excitement about the movie by James Franco, ‘Francophrenia’ (Or, Don’t Kill Me, I Know Where the Baby Is). Based on the TV character Franco (Robert Frank) from the ABC Daytime soap opera General Hospital, this movie is about the sociopath, serial killing, Jason Morgan (played by Steve Burton)-obsessed artist who now has turned out to be Jason’s twin brother! This film will lead the Tribeca Film Festival line up held April 18-29, 2012.

James Franco took on the role of Franco on GH to explore the worlds of acting and to prepare for another role which he would play a soap opera character. Franco explains his experience on GH as a learning experience, and experimental.
