JaSam Reunion in the Works

Jason Morgan and Samantha McCall because one of the biggest daytime super couples of the early 2000s. Their love story was full of romance, drama, action, twists and turns, humor, happiness, loss, and everything that make a couple a “Super Couple.” Social media took this couple’s love story by storm and soon enough, every fanfiction all pointed to one thing… JaSam is endgame. JaSam became the ship name for Jason and Sam and is now used when referring to the epic pair.

Before and after they finally got married, Jason and Sam had been through the best of times along with the absolute worst. Jason was there for Sam when she lost her baby Lila, Sam was there for Jason when his health was taking a turn for the worse, and the couple was even terrorized by psycho artist, Franco, just to name a few.

Sam finally got pregnant but it was far from a dream pregnancy. Since being stalked and terrorized by Franco, Jason and Sam were led to believe that Sam’s baby was a product of rape and not Jason’s child. After Jason “died” Sam found out that baby Danny was indeed Jason’s. Since Sam believes Jason to be dead, she has no choice but the live with the fact that Jason never got to know that they boy they both love, Danny, was actually his son and not Franco’s.

We all know that Jason is far from dead. He is alive and well and under Helena’s spell. Although he is walking among the residents of Port Charles, no one knows, not even “Jake” himself, that he is Jason Morgan, husband to Sam, father to Danny. In recent episodes, Jake is having memories and flashbacks of his old life and the people in it. This week on General Hospital, Jason was ordered to kill Sam by Helena Cassadine. While in Sam’s penthouse, his memory allowed him to see Robin and have flashbakcs of putting an engagement ring on Sam.

It’s pretty obvious that Jake is getting closer to discovering his own true identity. As Jason’s flashbacks bring him closer to finding out the truth, Sam may not be too far behind. I mean really, how can she not know that the man she has had conversations with is actually her husband. Will Sam figure out Jake is really Jason before he does?

True JaSam fans cannot even contain their excitement as they sit back and wait for Jason and Sam to have their epic reunion. Fear not, the reveal is inevitable. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Jason will be remembering who is is very soon.

Jake (Jason) Attempts to Kill His Own Wife (Sam); Will He Interrupt Sam and Patrick’s First Time?

While Jake still doesn’t realize he is Jason Morgan, he remains under Helena Cassadine’s mind control. Even though Helena told Jake he was Jason, she has the power to make him forget it all, and that’s exactly what she did. A few months ago Helena did tell Jake the he was THE Jason Morgan and that he was married to Sam Morgan. But of course, Helena used her mind manipulation to make Jake forget that important piece of information.

Helena’s latest mission for Jake is an order to kill Sam Morgan. Due to Sam’s impeccable instincts and P.I. skills, she has a huge hunch that Jake was the one that kidnapped her in order to distract the cops from Faison’s escape. Because Faison is the reason her husband Jason is believed to be dead, Sam won’t stop until she proves her instincts are right.

Sam and Patrick are on a date together and Sam cooked him a wonderful mean. The two have gotten past the lie Patrick told regarding Jason. They are moving forward with their relationship and taking their intimacy to the next level. As Sam and Patrick went upstairs, Jason walked right in her door. He is at Sam’s penthouse in an attempt to keep her quiet about the night Faison got away. Will he be able to go through with Helena’s orders to take Sam out?

General Hospital rumors suggest that Jake will start having memories of his true identity. Will he remembers he is Jason, Sam’s husband before it’s too late?

Will Robin Get in the Way of Patrick and Sam’s New Romance?

Patrick Drake and Sam Morgan have a long history of friendship. More recently, the two starting expressing romantic feelings for one another. Patrick and Sam kissed, and the Sam put her emotions back in check. She didn’t want to jeopardize the friendship she has with Patrick by taking their relationship to the next level. They remained close, and unexpectedly, Sam found out that Patrick had been hiding a HUGE secret. Sam was extremely hurt by the fact that Patrick kept the truth about Jason being alive from her. But all has been forgiven and the two have finally decided to look past their fears and try to be more than friends.

Patrick and Sam have plans to spend New Years Eve together which could lead to the start of something wonderful for them. Is the timing all wrong? General Hospital rumors insinuate that Patrick’s ex wife, Robin Scorpio Drake is on her way home. Unknowingly to Patrick, Robin is not actually living in France, she is being held by Helena Cassadine as part of her evil plan to control Jason Morgan. If the rumors are true, and Robin returns to Port Charles, will she stand in the way of Sam’s happiness?

Let us know what you think! Would you like to see Sam and Patrick happy together or should Sam and Jason be reunited? Do Robin and Patrick still have a chance?

Jason and Robin Are at the Doorsteps of Their Loved Ones… What Happens Next?

Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) manage to escape the blaze of glory that became of Crichton-Clark Clinic. Robin told Jason that they were able to escape because of him… they are alive and well and safely on the doorsteps of the ones they love. Robin instructed Jason to drive straight to Sonny’s house after she drove herself to the Metro Court to get in contact with her mother, Anna (Finola Hughes). She feared that if she and Jason went to their homes, they would be putting Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Emma (Brooklyn Silzer), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Danny (Corbin and Caden Rothwither) in danger. Just in case Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and her cronies were on their tales, Robin wanted to make sure that she didn’t put them in that type of situation.

At the end of Monday’s episode, we saw Robin banging on her Mother’s door at The Metro Court, and Jason approaching Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) doorstep, with his wife Sam inside. What happens next? Will it be this easy for Jason to reunite with the love of his life, Sam Morgan, and his best friend, Sonny Corinthos? Jason and Robin are so close to home that WE the fans can taste it. Could it be that we are able to see the reunion everyone has been longing for? …Or will something unexpected happen before Jason gets to present himself to Sonny and Sam?

The moment we all have been waiting for is practically right here in front of us. After months of going  back and forth with the news regarding Billy Miller replacing Steve Burton as the iconic Jason Morgan, we now know that all the rumors have been put to bed and the fact is that JASON IS HERE! Billy Miller IS the new Jason Morgan and he is coming… SOON.

When all the dust settles and Jason finds his way back to Port Charles, he will be encountering many of his loved ones. Jason Morgan is the most loyal person the town of Port Charles has ever known. He is an extremely good friend and devoted husband and right hand man. From Carly (Laura Wright) to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), and from Sonny (Maurice Benard) to Michael (Chad Duell), Jason has developed and maintained strong bonds with his friends and family. However, no bond is stronger than that of The Phoenix and The Dragon. That bond he shares is with his wife, Samantha Morgan (Kelly Monaco).

General Hospital rumors suggest that fans will be in for a treat come early 2015. It looks as though General Hospital is headed down the road to give fans a JaSam reunion. Although it won’t be that cut and dry. Rumor has it that Sam’s father, Julian Jerome (William DeVry), doesn’t approve of his daughter’s soul mate and husband, Jason Morgan. It has been speculated that Julian will try and keep Sam and Jason apart. Will JaSam prevail? We know that their love is stronger than anything. Do you think Jason and Sam can find their way back to one another and have a happy ending with baby Danny?

It All Goes Down at Crichton-Clark!

Are you ready for what’s in store this coming week on General Hospital? General Hospital spoilers have revealed that Billy Miller will be taking over the role of Jason Morgan, and General Hospital rumors speculate his arrival to be the week of September 8th, 2014.

Not only Jason and Robin, but many other Port Charles residents seem to have connections with Crichton-Clark. Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) was hospitalized there when recovering from her coma, Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) is working there under Victor Cassadine’s (Thaao Penghlis) orders to revive Helena (Constance Towers) and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly)from being cryogenically frozen. Robin is also working on bringing Samantha Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) husband, Jason Morgan back to life. Last week, it was revealed that Levi Dunkleman (Zachary Garred), aka, Peter Harrell Jr, is taking orders from Victor Cassadine. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) will soon be encountering Stavros Cassadine, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are about to find out what is in store for them as well.

With all these characters involved in the Crichton-Clark story line, we cannot help but feel that this coming week is going to be spectacular. In a direct quote from General Hospital’s Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, he states, “It’s all going down at Crichton!”

New Couple? How Far Will Patrick Go with Sam?

Sam told Patrick how important he is to her- how important he has been to her since Danny got sick. She said she couldn’t have gotten through it without him. He was there for her yesterday and all the time in between. Yesterday, he held her close and let her talk about how much she misses Jason and how up until now, she has felt like he is out there somewhere.

Sam has been there for Patrick throughout the years as well. He has her to lean on when it comes to Robin, Sam has given him advice about Sabrina, and she is helping him investigate everything that happened the night that he and Sabrina were ran off the road. Patrick called Sam his “adventure buddy” but it looks like there may be something more between these two besties.

Patrick has known for some time that there is a possibility Jason is alive. For unselfish reasons, Patrick has not told Sam. Now that he thinks Jason is dead, per Robin’s lie to protect her loved ones, will Patrick go after Sam romantically?

How far do you think Patrick and Sam will take their relationship before Jason comes home to Port Charles?

Do you ship JaSam, Samtrick, or Scrubs?

Jason Morgan… RECAST with a Y&R Star?

The latest and largest rumor circulating the soap opera scene is that the legendary character of Jason Morgan is set to be recast. Steve Burton left General Hospital after playing Jason Quartermaine (Morgan) for 21 years. After the actor left GH, he soon signed a contract with The Young and the Restless.

Fans have been missing their beloved Jason for a little over a year now. We have mourned his loss right alongside his wife Sam, his family, and friends. When Jason was shot and kicked off the docks at Pier 52 by Cesar Faison, it left it sort of open ended for the actor and/or character to return to the canvas. Now that Sam has been trying to move on with Dr. Silas Clay, would this be the time for Jason’s return? Sam had been talking to Patrick about his miracle in getting his wife Robin back, and she seems to be accepting after all this time, that Jason is not going to come back to her. She said to Patrick, “There’s only one miracle to go around.”

One source suggests that perhaps the role of Jason will be taken over by former Y&R actor Billy Miller. Miller has been recently replaced by David Tom in his role on The Young and the Restless. This leaves Billy Miller open to the role. Nothing has been confirmed and there is no story line in place as of yet.

General Hospital’s 50th Anniversary: What GH Means to Me

General Hospital is the longest running television drama in history. For 50 years this outstanding show has been hitting our airwaves. I wasn’t around for it’s first episode on April 1st, 1963, I wasn’t even around for it’s 10 year anniversary in 1973. As a matter of fact, I was only 1 year old when the show hit it’s 20 year mark in 1983. It wasn’t until a little after that 3rd decade that I could actually start to really understand what was going on. In the early 90’s I was a pre-teen/teen with a Mom and an older Sister who watched religiously. I too, began rushing home from school to prepare a snack and wait for 3 O’clock for what would become my most favorite show of all time.

To many kids my age in the early 90’s, flannel shirts, Nirvana, Tupac Shazur, and Guess Jeans were huge. In my world, Jagger, Brenda, Karen and Sonny were my main focus when it came to extracurricular activities. I remember when Jagger, Karen, and Jason got stranded on the island. I can still recite lines from those scenes. I can still hear Jagger’s authentic Italian accent taunt Jason with sarcasm while trying to figure out survival tactics, “Oh I think um, we can order take out, whaddaya say?” And in response to Jason wanting to make spears to kill fish Jagger says, “Why don’t we make a gun, and shoot ’em?!” Those lines play in my head as if it were yesterday. But we all know it wasn’t yesterday. It was almost 20 years ago when I got hooked on General Hospital. 20 years of laughter, excitement, drama, tears, anticipation, and falling in love with my favorite characters and couples. 20 years of bonding with my Mom, Sister, girlfriends and husband. My husband has been watching with me now for about 10 years. I got him interested when Ric Lansing had Carly chained to a wall in a panic room in the house he shared with Elizabeth. That may be one of my favorite story lines still today. Not just because of it’s intense excitement and unpredictability, but also because during that time GH formed yet another bond between myself and someone else who could share in the show’s greatness. Not long after that my husband really got into the Sonny story lines with the mob. A guy in his late teens to early 20’s watching General Hospital? Well when the mob is involved, why the heck not?!

A few years later introduced the couple that would change my view on soap opera super couples forever. In case you don’t know who my all time favorite couple is, it is Jason and Sam. Or as we fans like to call them, JaSam. Jason and Sam were like no other couple on TV. Sure they had their typical break up, make up, and love triangle issues as every good daytime couple did. But they had something more. First of all, they were the epitome of “badass.” Excuse my language but that word bests describes the adventurous side of Jason and Sam’s relationship. Even though Jason was Sam’s protector, Sam could hold her own and as a team they got things done. Aside from JaSam being completely “badass,” many aspects of their relationship felt real, as if it hit close to home. Their laughter, their nights in ordering take out Chinese, they way he protected her, the star necklace he gave her, and near the end when he gave her his Grandmother Lila Quartermaine’s ring as her wedding ring. Those are things the real life couples do together. I will never forget the way these two actors/characters touched my life, and the memories of watching them grow on screen will forever remain in my heart.

Fast forward to this week’s 50th Anniversary celebration. I have to express how outstandingly well everything came together. Not only were the surprises like Ethan, Alan, Emily, and Rick Webber enough to send fans into excitement induced hyperventilation, but the over all emotion of the show was positively overwhelming. Dr. Patrick Drake was the perfect person to talk about the history of General Hospital. A strong, brilliant doctor much like Dr. Steve Hardy was, Dr. Drake has become a legend and anchor at General Hospital. His relationship, marriage, and life he built with the great Dr. Robin Scorpio reminds me of those that came before them, Steve and Audrey and Alan and Monica, and set the stage for this wonderful American tradition to continue.

Throughout the years I have stuck by GH’s side as a devoted fan. I am a lover of the history and all it stands for. I cherish the characters old and new and hold a special place in my heart for something that I was able to share with my Mom for so many years.  I know that if she were here today to see General Hospital turn 50, we would be celebrating together and reminiscing of all the characters and stories that have come and gone.

I want to congratulate each and every person who has ever been a part of General Hospital on this monumental milestone and thank them for finding a way to move in and take up residence in the hearts of their truest fans. Happy 50th anniversary General Hospital.
