It All Goes Down at Crichton-Clark!

Are you ready for what’s in store this coming week on General Hospital? General Hospital spoilers have revealed that Billy Miller will be taking over the role of Jason Morgan, and General Hospital rumors speculate his arrival to be the week of September 8th, 2014.

Not only Jason and Robin, but many other Port Charles residents seem to have connections with Crichton-Clark. Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) was hospitalized there when recovering from her coma, Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) is working there under Victor Cassadine’s (Thaao Penghlis) orders to revive Helena (Constance Towers) and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly)from being cryogenically frozen. Robin is also working on bringing Samantha Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) husband, Jason Morgan back to life. Last week, it was revealed that Levi Dunkleman (Zachary Garred), aka, Peter Harrell Jr, is taking orders from Victor Cassadine. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) will soon be encountering Stavros Cassadine, and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) are about to find out what is in store for them as well.

With all these characters involved in the Crichton-Clark story line, we cannot help but feel that this coming week is going to be spectacular. In a direct quote from General Hospital’s Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, he states, “It’s all going down at Crichton!”

General Hospital’s Best Kept Secret

ABC’s General Hospital has had 51 years to keep it’s fans coming back for more. There has been so much drama and suspense throughout the years that lure us to tune in every single day. We feed off the “who done its” and the “cliffhanger Fridays.” We even get frustrated with storylines at times because the mysteries are so intense and we are too impatient (with excitement) to wait and see how it all unfolds.

Throughout the years there have been many stories that have kept us on our toes, kept us guessing, and frustrated us to no end, just to try and figure out who was behind a murder, who is really someone’s baby’s father, who kidnapped someone’s child(ren), who is the masked man, etc.

In recent years, there have been mysteries from the text message killer, to what happened to and who was behind Robin Scorpio Drake’s disappearance, what really happened to Jason Morgan the night he was shot and fell in to water, Who caused Patrick and Sabrina’s accident, Jerry Jacks (aka James Craig) in the Metro Court hostage crisis, and many, many more.

Currently, General Hospital writers are doing an excellent job with the keeping Fake Luke’s identity a mystery. Every single GH message board, GH Facebook group, fan page, blog, twitter, tumblr, and any other form of fan participation in the media is constantly stirring about who Fluke really is. In this age of General Hospital, it is safe to say that Fluke’s true identity has been General Hospital’s best kept secret. Everyone has their educated guess based on characters of the past and storylines that involve villains who hate Sonny, want revenge on Luke, is a pervert, and wants to take over ELQ, It seems that no one is 100% sure on who exactly fits that bill. Suggestions from Damien Smith, to Anthony Zacchara, and Jerry Jacks to Helena Cassadine are filling the fan sites. Everyone has their reasons for theorizing the upcoming plot involving the real Luke Spencer, and his impostor Fluke.

Fans have been waiting months for this story to unfold. Since Tony Geary is out on medical leave after having back surgeries, he will not be back to tape until this coming Fall. Writers and Producers have stated that fans won’t be finding out who the secret mob kingpin really is until at least October. General Hospital Blog would like to know who you think could be behind the biggest mob ring in Port Charles. WHO IS FLUKE, and which storyline (past or present) do YOU think is GH’s best kept secret? The General Hospital and Y&R Saga

It seems as though the General Hospital fans cannot seem to put down the Steve Burton story. It should be simple, right? Steve Burton left his role as Jason Morgan after 21 years because he moved to Tennessee for his family. At this point, we all wish it was that simple. This has been an ongoing saga for months on end now. After leaving General Hospital, it was shockingly announced that Steve Burton was joining the cast of The Young and the Restless as Dylan. Fans were outraged and accused Steve of plotting this with friend Jill Farren Phelps over at Y&R all along. Burton has already made numerous attempts to convince the fans that was not the case but for some reason some of the fans just cannot let it go.Not only is Steve getting grief from his devoted General Hospital fans who have felt abandoned by their favorite daytime actor, he is also receiving some negativity from the Y&R fans. Y&R fans claim that ever since Burton arrived the show revolves around his character Dylan, fans calling it “The Dylan Show.”

In regard to the entire issue with GH and Y&R fans, Steve explained what actually is going on, he said, “Listen, without the fans we don’t have a show. I understand their frustrations and I know that they don’t necessarily like change. I guess maybe my coming to Y&R upsets people because they don’t really know the truth of what happened. What you and I both know — that GH didn’t make a deal with me. And that’s the whole truth. My contract was up and they didn’t want to play ball and make it work. At the time, I didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus over there but of course, as soon as it was announced I was going to Y&R, people thought the whole thing was planned by Jill from Day 1, which it was not. I vividly remember my manager telling me how ABC Business Affairs had called him to say, “Hey, is Steve going to Y&R now that Jill’s over there?” And my manager said, ‘No, he wants to make a deal with you! Quit dragging your feet. Make a deal.’ But they wouldn’t.”

You win some, you lose some, and you can’t please them all. There was more real life drama in the soap world when actress Michelle Stafford left her role as Phyllis on The Young and the Restless and joined General Hospital. Fans over at Y&R are missing their longtime fan favorite of Genoa City just as GH fans are missing Burton. With the arrival of Nina Clay, Silas’ wife in Port Charles, Michelle Stafford hasn’t exactly gotten a warm welcome from General Hospital fans. Maybe Steve Burton is right, and people just don’t like to accept change. But if things don’t “change” at some point, or if fans don’t cling onto that small hope that their favorite actor or actress will be coming back to the roles they are best known for, these stories about Steve Burton and Michelle Stafford just may never be put to rest.

As for now, Steve Burton is happy at Y&R and intends to stay there for the foreseeable future. Stafford is happily playing the role of Nina Clay on General Hospital and has no intention of leaving and reprising her role as Phyllis on The Young and the Restless. The role of Phyllis has already been recast and will now be played by soap vet Gina Tognoni. Rumors are still up in the air on the Jason Morgan recast. It is still rumored that Billy Miller will be playing Jason Morgan, but no new news about a signed contract has been confirmed by executives.

Billy Miller as Jason Morgan; Maybe Not?

Trying to figure out what is going on with the role of Jason Morgan is almost as dramatic as the character Jason Morgan itself. After months and months of rumors regarding a recast for the role of Jason Morgan, a few weeks ago it was confirmed, or so it seems, that The Young and the Restless actor, Billy Miller had left Y&R  due to a recent disagreement with Jill Farren Phelps, and was headed to General Hospital. Billy Miller was said to be replacing Steve Burton’s 21 year stint as Jason Quartermaine (Jason Morgan).

Now things are looking a little uncertain. ABC has not confirmed any contract with Billy Miller. As of now, the actor has not signed a contract with General Hospital. ABC may just be keeping this information private for the time being, but rumors state that Miller will join the GH cast this coming August. Time is running out if a contract indeed still needs to be signed.

Comment below and let us know what you think of replacing Steve Burton as Jason Morgan.

Steve Burton Not Thrilled About ‘Jason Morgan’ Recast

There has been a lot of talk in the last couple of months that the role of Jason Morgan will be recast in the near future. Recently fans have learned that Jason is not actually dead but he is frozen along with some Cassadines. Victor Cassadine has called upon one of Jason’s oldest and best friends, Robin Scorpio to help him help Helena and Stavros (who are in the same predicament as poor Jason). Robin agreed to help in order to save Jason.

With Robin off to God knows where with Victor Cassadine working on saving her friend, the fans are wondering what is going to happen with the role of Jason Morgan. Will he be recast? Will Steve Burton reprise the role? Last month Steve Burton announced on Twitter that he is staying put at The Young and the Restless.

It has been rumored that ex Y & R star, Billy Miller would the the first choice to take on the role of Jason. Although Steve Burton isn’t thrilled about some else filling his shoes as the iconic mob enforcer, he did make a statement regarding Billy Miller. Burton recently told Soaps in Depth, “When all that talk was going on, I said to myself ‘Billy would be perfect.’ It’s a character I played for a long time, and I have a huge emotional connection to him and the people there. It’d be weird to see, but they have to do what they have to do. I understand that.

Now that we have Steve’s blessing to recast Jason with actor Billy Miller, what do the fans think about this potential recast?

Ron Carlivati Wants James Franco Back!

There has been recent rumors that General Hospital’s Head Writer, Ron Carlivati wants James Franco back! It has been said that Carlivati has told Showbiz411 Writer, Roger Friedman, that he is seeking out James Franco for one more stint on the ABC soap, General Hospital. Carlivati wants Franco back on the set, but it would be a little different this time, perhaps to tie up some loose ends with the story. James would be playing himself, and confronting the current “Franco” character, played by Roger Howarth.

James Franco originated the role of Robert Frank, aka “Franco” in November of 2009. He reeked havoc on the residents of Port Charles, terrorizing anyone that had to do with his obsession, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Caught in the crossfire were victims such as Samantha McCall Morgan, Carly Corinthos Jacks, Josslyn Jacks, Michael Corinthos Jr., Lulu Spencer, just to name a few.

General Hospital Blog is looking forward to those involved making this a reality. We would love to see James Franco back at GH!

Is Jason Morgan Returning to General Hospital?

Will Jason Morgan return from the dead?  General Hospital has been missing a key component since actorSt    Burton left GH  to pursue personal interest. Since then he accepted a role on  The Young and the Restless.  Even if Jason returns to GH,  will the role be played by Steve Burton, or would the actor be replaced?

General Hospital Blog wants to know what the fans think! Would you accept a Jason recast, or is Steve Burton the only Jason Morgan?
