There’s never a dull moment when it comes to life in Port Charles. Drama and chaos is at a constant flow, streaming through the entire city. At times, a surge will come through Port Charles like a tidal wave, causing mayhem among the city’s residents. Usually, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is at the forefront in some way, shape or form.
Currently, Sonny and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) seem to be the main targets in what they believe could be connection. Perhaps between Pikeman and the WSB? Anyways, that means that Sonny is quite busy protecting his loved ones while trying to get to the bottom of this. Moreover, he and his fiancé Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) are getting married!
According to GH spoilers and rumors, Sonny and Nina’s wedding day is coming up quickly. Admidst the mob drama, Nina keeps more secrets from Sonny. Not only is she the one who tipped off the SEC, but now she knows exactly who is doing creepy things to Anna. Of course, Sonny’s too distracted with Anna, and now Sasha and Gladys, so he’s bound to overlook some red flags. So will Nina marry the man of her dreams while he’s none the wiser of her secrets? GH rumors tease that Sonny and Nina’s upcoming wedding exposes the truth as relationships end and new ones begin.
In Port Charles, the Corinthos family faces some hard times in the here and now. So much has changed in the last few years since Sonny (Maurice Benard) was presumed dead. That’s when Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) life took a drastic turn.
In 1996, in came Caroline Benson (Sarah Joy Brown). She was an alluring pool shark with an agenda to seduce her mother’s husband. Despite her ill intentions, Carly and Bobbie Spencer (the late Jackie Zeman) eventually became very close. Fast forward to 2005, and Laura Wright joins General Hospital as the 4th actress to take on the role of Caroline Benson, aka Carly Corinthos. Laura’s portrayal hit home with GH fans, making the role one of the most popular in daytime tv. Carly and (ex-husband) Sonny Corinthos became household names as General Hospital’s main focus (while also focused on the hospital).
The Latest Laura Wright GH Exit
Recently, Carly’s had a rough go ever since Sonny was presumed dead and returned in love with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). There’s no doubt that Carly has seen better days. Especially losing the Metro Court to the same woman who took her man. But GH spoilers tease, mark Carly’s words, she WILL get EVERYTHING back that Nina stole from her. Carly may have gotten knocked down, and even kicked while she was already on the ground, but she’s formidable and always comes out on top.
Recently, GH rumors claimed that Laura Wright was on her way out and ready to exit General Hospital. Every so often it seems that this very same rumors starts, usually on Twitter. It seems that everyone in Port Charles has their mind set on something. Presumably killing your husband, blackmailing a Judge, and covering up your own lies to hold onto your man would surely steer anyone’s focus.
It’s no coincidence that these three ladies are intertwined amidst separate and mutual issues around Port Charles. Obviously, being close enough to Sonny Corinthos will put you in this position/predicament. All three woman are former lovers of the monster, as well as mothers of his children.
Will Ava, Carly, and Nina Get Answers?
According to General Hospital spoilers, Ava Jerome (Maura West) can’t take her mind off of a pressing issue. Aside from presumably killing her husband Nikolas Cassadine, Ava’s focused on her new friend Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), and what he’s hiding. The former Mrs. Cassadine has lost trust now that Ava’s aware that the other half of her situationship has been taking meetings in Pentonville. The latest General Hospital previews indicate that Ava’s spooked and drops her drink. Something or someone startled her enough, to the point that she dropped her drink and it shattered into pieces on the floor. Does Nikolas come clean to Ava?
Meanwhile, Carly is determined to keep Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of Pentonville. GH spoilers tease that Carly has dirt on the Judge who sentenced Drew and she’s not afraid to use it. Will her plan work or backfire?
At this point in their lives, Nina Reeves is closest to Sonny as he walks into a mob war as naturally as breathing. Unlike Carly and Ava’s mob experience, Nina lacks the knowledge and the know-how it takes to stand by Sonny’s side and face your first mob war as a close loved one. GH spoilers tease that Nina’s desperate to keep her lies and unjustified entanglements under wraps. Her desperate comes from her fear of losing Sonny. However, she only has herself to blame.
Not even the weight of immense amounts of guilt can make Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) come clean. That woman has stood by and watched as her actions caused a Domino affect of destruction across Port Charles.
General Hospital Recaps: Because of Nina, lives are turned upside down and everyone is at risk. Sonny’s fiancé started this mess with her little SEC tip-off. Evidently, revenge on Carly is more important than anything. And I mean anything (in Nina’s mind). So, she marched right over to her lawyer, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) and told him to put in a call to the SEC. Then, things got messy once the authorities caught wind of Carly and Drew’s white collar crimes. As a result, Nina’s impulsive behavior opened the floodgates for every risk that Sonny could possibly face- including getting busted by the FBI.
Is Drew Cain Going to Die?
Fast forward, and now Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) fights for his life. Thanks to Nina, he’s been stuck in Pentonville, but that’s not the worst of it. Recently, Drew was admitted into General Hospital after being badly beaten in Pentonville. According to General Hospital spoilers, Drew’s life hangs in the balance.
If Drew dies and Nina lies, well, continues to lie, about all she’s done, then she goes on to live her best life while the ones around her fall apart. In her mind, lying is the only option because it’s like that snowball effect. Once you tell a lie, more and more pile on to cover up for the original. I don’t know about y’all but that sounds exhausting to me!
You can just tell what Nina’s about to do simply by the look on her face. She’s never been able to hold back her thoughts when her facial expressions tell all. On the contrary, Nina’s mouth does quite the opposite. Well, her facial expressions can’t lie or hide the truth, her mouth can keep a secret if it’s own!
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer Corinthos (Laura Wright) is livid. She agreed to help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) because that’s just who they are to each over. But, Carly has moved on and just because she’s willing to help Sonny, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have conditions and boundaries. Reluctantly, Carly agreed to help Sonny but only if he could assure her that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is still safe in Pentonville.

And throughout my pre-teens and high school years my friends also watched. Sadly, today most of my friends have stopped watching. And let’s be honest, we aren’t friends anymore either lol. Haha but that’s another thing.

Carly’s Unintentional Eye For An Eye

In fact, she blames herself for the fact that he’s locked up in Pentonville in the first place. Carly can’t stand there helpless and allow Drew to go through any more of this. Naturally, she doesn’t want to see him this way. Now she is desperate to help Drew even if that means she goes back on her word.
GH rumors hint that Carly sells out Sonny to protect Drew. Just as Sonny chose Nina over Carly upon his Nixon Falls return, Carly chooses Drew in an unintentional, yet quite fitting eye for an eye situation. Remember, the key word here is unintentional. Still, it’s about time Sonny knows how it feels.
Not too long ago, Ava Jerome (Maura West) came to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help. Luckily for her she happens to be the mother of Sonny’s daughter, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Like all of Sonny’s baby mama’s, he respects and honors their position in his life, regardless of whether or not he’s still with them romantically.
When Sonny agreed to help Ava, that ultimately opened the door to a floodgate of various vulnerabilities. Now he finds himself in the middle of a mob situation. And just like old times, Port Charles mobster Sonny needs Carly (Laura Wright) by his side.
According to GH spoilers, Sonny has a major setback when Cyrus Renault’s plan takes effect. Naturally, Carly agreed to help Sonny, but under one condition. She said that she’d help just so long as harm wouldn’t come Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) way.
Now, Drew’s life hangs in the balance and Carly needs someone to blame. She falls for Cyrus’s trap, hook, line, and sinker. Because now that Carly blames Sonny for Drew’s attack, the strength of their bond weakens Sonny’s chances. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has Sonny right where he wants him.

Drew Cain was tossed in jail after Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tipped off the SEC. Apparently, revenge on Carly Spencer/Corinthos (Laura Wright) kept Nina laser focused on what’s most important- to HERSELF! Nina set off a domino effect of events that have lead many people to the dangerous position they find themselves in today. Because of her impulsive behavior, Nina is the reason why so many people’s lives are turned upside down. And the reason why her fiancé life is at risk!
According to the latest GH spoilers, first, Cyrus preys not on Sonny’s weaknesses, but on his biggest strength. Then, once Sonny’s strongest attribute is broken down; that’s when Cyrus makes his move. So, what exactly is Sonny’s strength? It’s Carly. No, not just Carly by herself. But together, Sonny and Carly a force to be reckoned with. That said, Cyrus knows that if he breaks the bond between Carly and Sonny, the PC mobster will be that much weaker without Carly by his side.

Moreover, Sonny always had a strong woman to lean on. Who am I kidding? Carly wasn’t just a good, strong woman to lean on. Actually, she was his rock. Carly knew better than to give him problems, although she ultimately gave him problems lol. But the way Carly went about things when it comes to Sonny’s business reassured him of her full support. As a mobster’s wife, you have to be prepared for anything. And that, Carly was.
Carly’s Still Sonny’s Choice
Meanwhile, Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) play this little game of pretend. It’s the one where they both know that Nina isn’t the right fit for Sonny, yet neither can admit it. But deep down Sonny knows who his perfect match is. Furthermore, he knows he can turn to Carly for anything, at any time. And that’s exactly what he did. Sonny needs Carly’s help and she’s willing to give it. Where does that leave Nina? On the outside looking in.
