Recently, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) began hosting Victor Cassadine’s (Charle Shaughnessy) will reading. So far, the guests and recipients seemed a little unimpressed with what Victor left behind. Although it seems these items are meaningless, Victor doesn’t do anything without meaning behind it. But one thing in particular has the key to unlock a mystery. General Hospital news reports of Marcus Coloma’s exit caused a stir among fans. Fans were not only shocked and confused in regard to the actor, but the character as well. Why kill off Nikolas Cassadine? Then, we soon found out that Nikolas isn’t dead. Hell most definitely return to Port Charles. Meanwhile, Nik’s loved ones have a mystery on their hands. Where did Nikolas go?

According to some recent GH spoilers and rumors, Victor’s box leads Spencer down a dark path. A path so gloomy and “Cassadine-like” that even Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) won’t support exploring it. However, a curios Spencer begins down a typical Cassadine path. But will he be saved in time before he turns completely to the dark side?

The curious young man with bad boy tendencies falls for uncle Victor’s plan, hook line and sinker. His dark journey into the Cassadine mindset will ultimately lead him to a dark place. Nikolas haunts Ava at Wyndemere! Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) went missing at a pivotal time in his and his loved ones lives. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) resurfaced and was on the brink of giving birth. Because of Nik’s one night stand with Esme, he became a father for the third time by his son’s ex-girlfriend. Ultimately, one thing lead to another and soon enough Ava took a swing that changed everything.

General Hospital recaps recall Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) desperate attempt to stop a threat. Remember, Nikolas became unhinged leading up to his disappearance. Eventually, his poor choices lead to his divorce from Ava, and the fact that she obtained Wyndemere sent him over the edge. What was Ava supposed to do when Nikolas came marching in, barking about taking Avery? She did what she had to do to ensure her daughter’s safety. Besides, other than practically killing him, she did Nikolas a huge solid. Otherwise Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have completed the job. No one messes with Sonny’s kids or the mother(s) of his children. Honestly, Nikolas should consider himself lucky.

Before he disappeared, she took his home in the divorce, and then almost killed him in the same home where they shared their lives together. GH recaps remind us that Mason is making trouble for Austin (Roger Howarth) and Ava. Although she knows Mason took Nik’s body, she has no clue that he’s still alive. With that, Nikolas has the opportunity to mess with Ava.

According to recent GH rumors, Nikolas uses his upper hand to drive Ava out of Wyndemere and never look back. Will she be too spooked to stay?

Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. GH recaps recall that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) thought she killed her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss). A impulse attack to protect her daughter, Ava whacked Nikolas over the head. Next, she decided to declare him dead. Together, she and pal Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) brought Nikolas’s limp body to its hiding spot.

To their dismay, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) search revealed to Ava and Austin that Nikolas had somehow gotten out of that locked door. Thankfully, Dante was none the wiser. Then, Ava and Austin scrambled to figure out how in the world a lifeless Nikolas could have escaped that locked room.

It’s unlikely that the Nurses Ball runs smoothly. With Victor on the prowl, a mob war brewing, and Willow’s transplant around the corner, the possibilities for disaster are endless. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) get the shock of a lifetime when Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. Furthermore, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) at an undisclosed location. After Ava presumed him dead, Nikolas is actually alive and about to make an appearance.

General Hospital casting news reports have yet to confirm any recast for Nikolas Cassadine. In a shocking GH news revelation, it was previously confirmed that Marcus Coloma had been let go from his role. Coloma played the dark Prince, Nikolas Cassadine, for 3 years. When his contract was up, TPTB over at General Hospital did not negotiate a renewal.
