Something is off with Sonny and everyone sees it but himself. His poor decisions lead him down the wrong path and the real ones are concerned. Furthermore, Sonny has shunned Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason. Without his voices of reason, Sonny becomes an even more vulnerable target.

As a member of the Jerome family, Ava was entangled in organized crime. She got out of the business and out of that life some years ago. However, her brother and sister were still very much in the business until their deaths.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has gone from a ruthless mobster to a loving mother and a dear friend. While there’s no doubt that she is a loving mother to her daughter Avery, her status as a “dear friend” is what’s in question.

Most definitely, Ava is a good friend to Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). What’s between them is more than a friendship because Ava sees Trina as another daughter. Avery Corinthos is the light of Ava’s life, but losing Kiki (Hayley Erin) left a hole in her heart. Thankfully, Trina and Ava clicked. By no means does Trina take Kiki’s place, but she helps fill that void for Ava.

Port Charles is a small town, but Trina isn’t Ava’s only friend. Ava is a socialite. So she flutters around town making acquaintances, but has few deep connections. Seemingly, her strongest adult friendship is with Nina Reeves. Ava and Nina‘s friendship is quite strange given their history. According to GH, recaps, Nina kidnapped Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery at birth. She went on to become Nina’s bestie and married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Go figure.

As it turns out, GH spoilers and rumors tease that Nina and Ava aren’t really friends at all. Could it be that Ava’s playing Nina and has been this entire time? I mean, what mother can forgive her child’s kidnapper and then become the best of friends? Maybe only if that mother was psycho too!

There’s no doubt that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is the most sought after man in Port Charles. Whether it’s desire or disdain, the women of Port Charles have big thoughts about the charming and lovable mobster.

At this point it’s pretty obvious that Sonny has moved on from Nina (Cynthia Watros). Lately, she hasn’t even crossed his mind. On the other hand, Sonny’s living rent free in Nina’s mind. Meanwhile, Sonny spends most of his time with Ava Jerome (Maura West). So much so that Michael (Chad Duell) and Carly (Laura Wright) are suspicious of her motives.

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Sonny’s next leading lady isn’t who most of us expect. Many fans have hoped for a CarSon reunion since Nina swept in and stole him from Carly. Eventually, I think that Sonny and Carly will find their way back to each other. GH rumors hint that it’s not going to be that simple. Now that Sonny and Carly are both on the market, it’s unlikely they’ll limit themselves to each other. True, Things may not have worked out between Sonny and Nina, and Carly and Drew, but that doesn’t mean Sonny and Carly will get back together so soon.

Lois and Sonny go way back, Ava and Sonny are two peas in a mobster pod. Then there’s Natalia. The new woman in town whose daughter is dating Kristina. Despite her snarky comments, Sonny and Natalia seem to be hitting it off. And of course there’s Carly. She and Sonny are the IT couple of Port Charles, and many GH fans have shipped them for decades.

A few years ago (I stopped counting) the Corinthos family was turned upside down. Nina Reeves took it upon herself to manipulate and basically imprison a husband and father. She found Sonny in Nixon Falls and nothing has been the same since. Shockingly, Sonny chose his captor over his wife and kids shortly after it was discovered that he wasn’t actually dead. Nope, he had amnesia and Nina took advantage of a man who was suffering from memory loss. Now Sonny’s life has been turned upside down and he points the finger everywhere except for in the mirror. Surely Sonny was Nina’s victim, but he eventually had a choice and he chose her over Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and his kids.

Thankfully, Corinthos is a coffee importer and his successful business serves as a protective tool against the law. While Sonny has always made it out alive and on the other side, he didn’t get there all on his own.

The last couple of years have been a bit of an adjustment for Sonny in regard to the business. After losing his right hand man, Morgan (Steve Burton), Sonny’s had to navigate around his enemies without his most trusted supporter. Sadly, Sonny has had to go it alone, making things riskier and more complex.

So why on Earth Sonny would sleep with her can be chalked up to soap opera logic. On top of it all (or bottom, whichever they prefer 😜), Ava and Sonny conceived their daughter Avery that night. Now, they’re family for life.

Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.

Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. But Nina definitely stole Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery- out of Ava’s womb. And now she’s best friends with Ava and married to Sonny. Well, I guess that’s how they roll in Port Charles.

It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.

Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on.
