Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.

Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. But Nina definitely stole Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery- out of Ava’s womb. And now she’s best friends with Ava and married to Sonny. Well, I guess that’s how they roll in Port Charles.

It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.

Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on. I suppose that doesn’t mean that she’s done sticking it to Carly for good, but GH spoilers tease that Nina has an entirely new focus. Apparently Nina has never heard the phrase don’t shoot the messenger. The spite effect that Nina ruined her own marriage she lashed out at Diane for delivering the divorce papers. Will Diane have to watch her back?

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) spent every waking moment obsessing over his father’s and his ex-girlfriend’s baby. The bond was real and it was obvious that he loved his little brother very much. In fact, regardless of how the littlest Cassadine came into this world, Spencer knew he had to do right by Ace. That’s when Spencer realized Esme and Ace were a packaged deal. So, Spencer and his ex became civil for the sake of his little brother. For the most part, they even began to trust each other. That is, until Spencer betrayed Esme’s trust.

GH recaps recall that baby Ace was taken right from under Esme when she trusted Spencer to take care of him. Instead, Ace’s so-called big brother did nothing of the sort. What he did was give a woman’s baby away to a fugitive.

As a result, Esme’s on a non-stop mission to find her son. The thing is, Miss Prince isn’t just someone out searching for their missing child. She was a psychopath in her past life, and her past life is creeping up on her.

Meanwhile, Sonny and Ava hide out. They discuss Esme and Sonny points out that she’s got nothing to lose. She has her memories back and a history of having committed violent and psychotic crimes. Even if he could, he and Ava are hiding out- and run into danger of their own.

Never in any sane mind’s wildest dreams would it be imagined that two parents would forgive anyone who kidnapped their child. Whats worse is that Sonny and Ava didn’t just forgive Nina, but went above and beyond normal behavior. Forgiveness is only the bare minimum. Sonny married her and Ava became her BFF!

But did we ever stop to think about why Betty was so willing to put herself in the position to be “eliminated” by Sonny Corinthos?

Ava Jerome isn’t winning any popularity contests in Port Charles. Although I bet she’d win when pinned up against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). That woman has less friends than Regina George after her Burn Book was exposed. Trina is probably Ava’s most loyal supporter in life as Trina has never kidnapped or killed any of Ava’s children. She also never framed her for a murder or stalked her at any time. Despite Trina’s loyalty, I think it’s safe to say that Ava has more enemies than friends.

Although surveillance cameras were operating properly inside the gallery, the footage won’t do her justice. Evidently, got captured on the security cameras is more likely to hurt Ava than help her. In fact, both women have displayed strong personalities with survival skills that are unmatched by most. Unlike Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and some other, weaker woman who have warmed Sonny’s bed- (or a crypt if you’re Ava), Carly and Ava know what it takes to survive in Sonny’s world. But only Carly has the loyalty.

GH recaps recall a pure Sonny and Carly moment when he asked for his ex-wife’s help. Although more cautious than her old self, Carly still agrees to step up for her ex-husband. Apparently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) forgets the sacrifices that it takes to help protect loved ones.

Even if that means not only helping her ex, but also helping one of his ex-lovers.
