Although she and Austin were originally the only two [so she believed] who knew what she’d done, Ava eventually trusted Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with her secret.

Nikolas Cassadine has his share of reasons to stay far, far away from Port Charles. First, his relationship with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was rocky ever since Nikolas faked his death. It’s understandable that Spencer felt abandoned, and distances himself from his father. Emotionally, the two were further apart than ever. Spencer was back from boarding school and living at Wyndemere, distance separated father and son.
Nikolas had other problems in his life but they all stemmed from the same issue. It was a vicious cycle back when Spencer and Esme both had it out for Nikolas and Ava. As a result, Spencer’s resentment towards his dad and step mom helped fuel Esme’s agenda. Additionally, Spencer unknowingly fed into Esme’s trap which helped lead Ava and Nikolas astray from each other. It was the straw the broke the camel’s back for Spencer.
Nikolas Killed Austin Over Ava?!
Once Esme seduced Nikolas and she became pregnant, time eventually did its job. It was only a matter of time that Spencer found out about how his father Nikolas slept with Esme. At this point Spencer had been betrayed by Nikolas enough. And on top of that, he found out who is girlfriend really was.

They finally had alone time to express their love, and their time together surpassed both of their expectations. Finally, their relationship was on the right track and Sprina fans were in their glory. I must admit, I’m a Sprina fan myself. That said, I’m a little bummed by what’s happening. But really, we all saw it coming. The crazy, manipulative ex-girlfriend turns into a needy sweetheart with major mom goals. Esme wants to the the best mother she can be to her son, and Spencer’s baby brother Ace.
However, General Hospital spoilers tease that Esme’s new personality, in combination with her living quarters could be enough to draw Spencer back in. Then, on top of it, GH rumors tease that Ace isn’t just Spencer’s baby brother, he is his son!

Esme’s Up To Her Old Tricks
