As GH fans, General Hospital Blog knows exactly how it feels to lose a beloved character, as well as how it feels to love (or hate) a newby. Whatever emotions are flowing through at the time someone leaves or enters the canvas, fans can be sure to get the latest information on our GH comings and goings page.
Sasha’s story ends tragically! …In Port Charles, it’s become increasingly difficult to distinguish between the good guys and the true baddies, and the bad guys. Lately the villains of Port Charles have had a stroke of luck. And while the righteous ones walk with their head held high, their dark secret hangs over.
General Hospital Recaps: Not in any particular order, but first, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) went from boarding school brat and psychopath, to a loving and almost over protective young mother. Her head I just and memory loss gave her a second chance to become a new human. But is everyone buying it? Additionally, Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) rebirth never really fooled those who know him, but he sure got them questioning things. Is he, or isn’t he (still a ruthless killer)? He’s helped Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and tried to warn young Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) about his other uncle, Victor (Charles Shaughnessy). I know as a viewer my thoughts on Cyrus’s new lease on life swayed a bit. What?! I can’t help it, but he was convincing at times! ????
Then there’s Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). The once troubled teen is well, is still a troubled adult. But, and that’s a big BUT, his heart is good even though he sometimes makes selfish decisions. He’s trying and that’s what matters. Yet life keeps screwing him over. People love to point the finger at the boy from Bensonhurst who never learned his lesson after juvy. ???? Poor Cody. Finally, we have the one and only Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Maybe he kills Dr. Montague for obvious reasons. Or, perhaps he’s had enough of his cousin Gladys?! There are so many theories to play with where Sasha’s story is concerned.
Point being that we just don’t know who and what to believe anymore. For example, first (not in chronological order), Dr. Montague abuses his power and drugs an innocent public figure. Also, Gladys’s masquerade is another reason that no one knows who to trust. Who would think that a woman who lost a child and grandchild is drugging her dead son’s wife? Moreover, she needs Sasha’s money to pay off her own gambling debts! Finally, the last example doesn’t completely align with the others since Ned Ashton isn’t a villain. However, he was ACCUSED of being one! What I’m trying to say is expect the unexpected.
According to recent GH rumors and spoilers, someone in Port Charles dies. There are many theories floating around social media that involve Gladys, Sasha, Dr. Montague, Selina Wu, Cody Bell, and even Sonny Corinthos! Most GH fans speculate that aside from Sasha, Gladys is the focal point of this storyline. She has motive to kill while also having two targets on her back.
GH spoilers tease that Gladys gets killed by either Selina Wu or Dr. Montague. However, some GH fans believe Gladys is desperate enough to kill. Is she capable of double murder and kill both Selina and that crazy doc? How do you think this will all play out?
How sweet it is to be able to share beautiful music. Especially, when it’s shared with loved ones. GH’s Maurice Benard sings with Joshua in a brand new video.
Undoubtedly, Maurice is one of the most beloved and iconic daytime tv star of all time. In fact, if you scout any comments secretion pertaining to Benard, his popularity undeniable. Personally, I think it’s the way Maurice lets the world see through his soul, along with his vulnerability that draws fans in. He’s a very real, no BS type of guy. And the love he has for his family shines through his posts.
General Hospital star, Maurice Benard seems to have music running through his soul. If you know anything about the man behind the mobster, you know he loves to sing and dance (mostly dance). Similarly, his son Joshua is a lot like his dad. According to recent General Hospital news and spoilers, Maurice, aka Sonny Corinthos, recently spent more of that infamous quality time with his son. In a recent IG post, Maurice Benard sings along with Joshua in such a sweet, father-son moment.
Please enjoy this tender moment between GH’s Sonny aka Maurice Benard, and his son Joshua!
Gladys confesses to save Sasha?! …Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has done her fair share of criminal and otherwise despicable acts. It’s no surprise that she’d sacrifice Sasha’s well-being for her personal gain. She digs herself into holes too deep to get out of on her own, so she bounces from person to person, and uses them for what they have.
General Hospital previews and spoilers reveal that Gladys scrambles to come up with the money she owes Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look). Oddly enough, Selina’s threat seems like child’s play now that Gladys faces Sasha’s doctor.
GH spoilers reveal that there’s really no way out for Gladys. Her remorse comes too little too late for any type of redemption. But she can’t see Sasha go through what Dr. Montague’s torture any longer. According to GH rumors, Gladys confesses to save Sasha and exposes Dr. Montague.
You won’t want to miss a single moment of the drama!
Are Dex and Betty Sonny and Brenda’s kids?! …Let’s be honest, Vanessa Marcil as General Hospital’s feisty Brenda Barrett is an icon. If you’re a GH fan then you know the impact Marcil’s role has had on the show. Therefore, there isn’t a period of time when GH fans don’t hope for her to return.
Meanwhile, Brenda’s popularity has fans hanging on to hope for decades, especially with it comes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Of course, Brenda Barrett is a force on her own. Whether she’s single or paired with one of Port Charles’s most powerful men, Brenda can hold her own. Die hard Sonny and Brenda fans keep the faith when it comes to those two reuniting.
According to recent GH spoilers and rumors Dex and Betty could be working together. For the full story, click HERE. Due to these recent rumors, GH fans speculate that there’s much more to Betty (Ella Lentini) and Dex (Evan Hofer) than meets the eye. Additionally, GH rumors surrounding Brenda’s return raise questions. For months, fans have wondered where Dex comes from and who is biological parents are. From Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to Sonny Corinthos, fans continue to guess who Dex’s father is.
That being said, some GH rumors tease that Dex is Sonny and Brenda’s son. So, in the light of the newest GH rumors, some wonder if Dex and Betty are twins who are after their father. And their mother… is none other than Brenda Barrett! What do you think? Could these two sneaky cats be in Port Charles to take Sonny down?!
Who is Betty on GH (Ella Lentini)? …All of a sudden Betty swept in like a Detroit Red Wings 1997 Stanley Cup Win! Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Port Charles knew nothing of Betty before she arrived in town. Suddenly, her name consumes his conversations.
General Hospital Recaps: Sonny takes over for Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava came to Sonny with a big problem. That’s when she explained to Sonny that she killed Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss/TBD) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) was threatening their daughter Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Expectedly, Sonny told Ava he’d handle things. Betty Rutherford entered their lives and she’s about to turn their world upside down.
According to GH spoilers and rumors, there’s more to know about Betty! Is she really just a plant to get information on Sonny and Pikeman? Or does she have an agenda of her own?
…Previously, General Hospital Blog shared the latest GH casting news. Jeffrey Stubblefield joins the soap as Gregory’s new doctor, Dr. Bronson.
General Hospital Recaps: Finally, Gregory caved and told his son about his ALS diagnosis. For the longest time, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was the only one who was aware that Gregory was suffering from a debilitating and terminal illness. She urged him to tell both of his sons, but he just wasn’t ready. Soon enough, even Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) began to ask questions.
Was Gregory Chase Misdiagnosed?
According to General Hospital spoilers, Dr. Bronson (Jeffrey Stubblefield) arrives as Gregory’s new doctor. GH rumors suggest that Finn takes matters into his own hands to ensure his father has the best care. As a fan favorite, will Gregory meet a positively unexpected fate? What if he doesn’t have ALS at all?
Gregory Chase’s illness brings a new doc to Port Charles!
…Is there hope for Gregory Chase and his battle with ALS? The cat’s out of the bag- well, at least to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). ALS is a devastating disease that targets motor neurons. In other words, it attacks the nerves responsible for voluntary movement. But, enough of that because I am in no means a doctor. I am a writer, however, and I will keep you up to date on GH spoilers, news, and more!
General Hospital recaps recall Gregory Harrison’s current battle with ALS. He recently brown down and told his some Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about his illness. They both broke down and trades and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t too!
According to the latest GH spoilers, Gregory Chase’s illness brings a new doctor to Port Charles. Now that Finn knows what’s going on, Gregory is going to need a specialist for his illness. Without a doubt, Finn will encourage his father to do whatever it takes to prolong a good-quality life. Reportedly, actor Jeffrey Stubblefield joins GH as Dr. Bronson, Gregory’s new specialist. GH spoilers and news reports confirm that Stubblefield is somewhat familiar with the GH family since he once played on General Hospital spin-off, Night Shift as Roger Walker.
…General Hospital recaps recall when Jake Webber said goodbye to his brother Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Back in March, Cam left for college and his family gathered in celebration of his new journey. Now, Cameron plays college soccer.
Meanwhile, GH fans wonder where his brother’s Jake and Aiden have been. It’s common for child actors to take/have long pauses in between work. Actually, we haven’t seen Elizabeth Webber’s son Jake since March, 2023. According to the latest GH casting news, GH spoilers reveal that Jake’s portrayer, Hudson West confirms GH return. The 15 year old General Hospital star confirmed his GH status in a reply to a fan.
General Hospital spoilers reveal West will appear as Jake the week of August 21st.
Walt Willey returns to GH! Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Felicia Jones’s (Kristina Wagner) excursion got them into some hot water. When it comes to the endgame, hot or cold water, it doesn’t matter to Lucy as long as she gets what she needs. Not to mention, rubbing elbows with Pine Valley’s hotshot Attorney, Jackson Montgomery isn’t so bad.
General Hospital recaps recall Jackson Montgomery’s role as Martin Gray’s (Michael E. Knight) divorce lawyer. Lucy’s suspicions about her man got the best of her, and she recruited her pal Felicia to help. First, two extensively experienced gal pals headed out to Pine Valley. There they made a juicy discovery, as well as got themselves into some trouble. That’s when Felicia had to make an awkward phone call. Still, Martin remains unaware that Lucy’s digging into his personal affairs. Let’s just say that Lucy’s trip to see Jackson Montgomery as wasn’t a total waste of time.
Meanwhile, Lucy worries about her future with Marty. At this point in their relationship, she’s dealing with the fact that he won’t marry her. And now that she knows why, they may not over come this. Will Mr. Montgomery step in?
Walt Willey Returns to GH
According to GH news and spoilers, Jackson Montgomery swoops back in. Daytime TV icon, Walt Willey confirmed that he will return to the GH canvas as All My Children’s Jackson Montgomery. What’s in store for Jackson? Will he pay Port Charles a visit, or will Lucy take another trip?
Jerry Jacks is Pikeman!?! …What do Sonny (Maurice Benard), Anna (Finola Hughes), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and the WSB all have in common? Surprisingly, it’s not what, but who. Someone connects Sonny and Anna. Therefore, the question isn’t which one of them was the target.
Currently, the two biggest mysteries in Port Charles involve Sonny Corinthos and Anna Devane. In a shocking turn, an evening at the Metro Court turned into one family and an entire town’s nightmare. The PCPD, along with Sonny and Anna, believe that the bullet that left Curtis Ashford paralyzed was meant for either of them. Dante has been wracking his brain for the answered. Who was the bullet meant for, as well as, who did it?!
Moreover, according to the latest GH spoilers and rumors, the bullet may have been meant for both the former WSB agent and accused traitor, as well as PC’s mob boss. But who would want to take down both Sonny and Anna? Well, GH history recalls a certain villain. Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) was Jasper “Jax” Jack’s iniquitous brother. He had connections to the WSB, Cassadines, hated Sonny, and is an illegal arms dealer! Now, one thing comes to mind when thinking about Jerry Jacks… Pikeman!
