Whatever emotions are flowing through at the time someone leaves or enters the canvas, fans can be sure to get the latest information on our GH comings and goings page.
Nikolas Cassadine recast airs! …Last year, GH fans were shocked when learning that the Nikolas Cassadine we’ve come to know and love is set to exit General Hospital. GH news reports confirmed Marcus Coloma was let go from his 3 year run as Port Charles’s Dark Prince.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas is going to ask his bestie’s mom for a favor. Nik is desperate to keep Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) memories suppressed, so, he’ll ask Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to help him out. Nik tries to sell his favor request by telling Carolyn this will also help Liz. He wants her to suppress Esme’s memories the way she suppressed Elizabeth’s.
General Hospital spoilers reveal ultimately, things won’t go well between Carolyn and Nikolas. Lately, Nik’s genius (*insert sarcasm*) plans have been coming back to bite him. This time, things won’t be any different.
General Hospital news reports reveal Coloma will exit by the end of January, however, spoilers for Nik go into February. Therefore, General Hospital comings and goings reports claim the Nikolas Cassadine recast airs sometime in February.
We are sad to see Marcus go. His portrayal of Nikolas won us over in 2019 when he began on GH. Nest of luck to Marcus in his new endeavors!
Carolyn Webber returns to Port Charles! There was so much hype surrounding the General Hospital news relating to The Webber family. Jeff and Carolyn Webber’s arrival sparked curiosity and raised new questions about Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) upbringing.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm Denise Crosby returns to GH as Carolyn Webber. General Hospital spoilers tease Carolyn wants to make amends with her daughter. Upon her return, she plans to have a talk with Elizabeth in a last ditch effort to explain herself. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Denise explains the nature of Carolyn’s trip back to see Elizabeth. “She knows it could go really wrong, but she can’t live with herself if she doesn’t take the shot,” she explained. “She wants to make a connection with her daughter and to try to make amends for something that is almost impossible to make amends for.”
Although Carolyn doesn’t expect Elizabeth to run into her arms, she also doesn’t anticipate what trusting Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) can do. GH spoilers and rumors hint that Carolyn will be coerced by Nikolas. Carolyn visits Wyndemere where she and Nikolas meet. Nikolas makes a request; he sells it by convincing Carolyn that helping him regarding Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will help her fix things with Liz.
Will Carolyn quickly learn that trusting Nikolas is a big mistake?
Griffin Munro returns to GH!? Actor Matt Cohen left General Hospital in March of 2019. His character Dr. Griffin Munro was well received by fans, as was his coupling with Ava Jerome. Complications surrounding his romantic entanglements with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) drove him out of town after Kiki’s death.
General Hospital recaps recall a surprise mention of Cohen’s character. This past Christmas, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) returned for a cameo appearance. Although Ellie and Spinelli split up, they spent Christmas together with Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie. To the audience’s surprise, Ellie received an incoming call from Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Ever since, General Hospital rumors speculate Griffin Munro returns to GH. Will Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) need another Chief of Staff to help with the workload after Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death?
General Hospital news and spoilers tease Matt Cohen and Emily Wilson head back to the (almost) 60 year old daytime drama. Consequently, love triangles are bound to form if Griffin drags girlfriend Ellie back to Port Charles. Ellie has a history with Spinelli, who has a history and a child with Maxie. Griffin and Ava were a fan favorited couple when things took w turn. Let’s just say chaos among Ava’s daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Ryan Chamberlain played a part in Griffin’s departure.
General Hospital comings and going reports have yet to confirm news regarding Matt Cohen’s potential return. However, Griffin’s surprise mention has fans hoping for his return.
Can Nina save Willow? Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) greatest heartache in life is having missed the chance to have a relationship with her daughter. Ultimately, she blames Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for her missed opportunity.
Nina blames Carly for withholding her connection to Nelle, despite knowing that Nelle was a psycho who kidnapped Wiley. She spent her entire adult life living for the hope of finding the daughter who was taken from her at birth. Nina went through Hell with every lead that turned out to be a dead end. She was even deceived by people she loves when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had a hand in Nina’s hellish journey.
General Hospital recaps recall Nelle’s fixation on destroying Carly and the ones she loves. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was Nelle’s route to hitting Carly where it hurts. However, her reign of terror extended far beyond Carly’s son. Undoubtedly, the entire Corinthos family suffered at the hands of Nelle at some point or another. In the end, Nelle kidnapped Wiley and became a threat to his life. Still, Nina blames Carly for keeping her from Nelle, as well as causing her death.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina’s daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) fights for her life while pregnant and battling stage 4 leukemia. Nina just found out Willow is one of two of her twin daughters.
Once again, Carly has a hand in keeping Nina from a long lost child. Will Nina face the same fate with Willow as she did with Nelle? Nelle died tragically before Nina got the chance to know her daughter. Similarly, Nina finds herself in a deja vu situation when shes faced with losing another daughter.
Can Nina Save Willow?
General Hospital previews indicate that Nina marches straight over to Willow with the news. After Carly drops the bombshell about Willow’s and Nina’s connection, the race to save her life is in full effect.

In previous General Hospital news, GH Blog shared thoughts from Geary’s co-stars. Genie, Tristan, Finola, and Jackie Zeman expressed their thoughts on the situation surrounding Luke Spencer. Genie revealed, “I feel like they’re setting the stage, really, for a wonderful comeback,” she confessed, “and I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for that.” Genie also told an ABC reporter, “George, no one stays dead on a soap. Why Kelly Thiebaud left GH! Flashbacks of Kelly Thiebaud and Kathleen Gati’s performance depicting Britt Westbourne’s desolating death reel in our minds. Britt died in her mother’s arms, leaving no chance for the role to make even a soap opera style resurrection.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Britt’s sudden death as written into the script when Kelly Thiebaud chose to leave General Hospital. As a result of her decision, GH executives decided to kill off Thiebaud’s character as opposed to finding a recast for Dr. Britt Westbourne. Now, GH fans are left to mourn Kelly Thiebaud’s portrayal of Britt Westbourne.
GH recaps recall news relating to Kelly’s status with the daytime drama. GH comings and goings reports revealed Kelly was reprising her role as Eva Vasquez in ABC’s Station 19. Kelly said, “But also… I am very interested in doing other things with my career,” she continued. “As much as I love Britt and I love the fans and I love General Hospital, I just felt like I had to go and pursue those other dreams and goals of mine.” Kelly spent over a decade on General Hospital as Dr. Britt Westbourne. Her schedule did not allow her the freedom to pursue other things.

Is Britt going to die?
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate Britt’s decision to stay in Port Charles leaves her mother, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), hopeful that she can continue to make up for Britt’s childhood. General Hospital rumors suggests Liesl may not get that chance. Will the hook’s poison be the end of Britt?
Kendrick Cross joins General Hospital! The PCPD receives a lot of flack for their investigative skills (or lack there of). The investigations in Port Charles seem to go on longer than they should. Many times, Port Charles residence Inn, those on the opposite side of the law, have had a hand in nailing past perps.
General Hospital spoilers suggest the PCPD needs to up their game when it comes to solving crimes. The hook killer ran circles around the police for months on end, meanwhile, the PCPD put all their eggs in one basket.
General Hospital comings and goings reports confirm General Hospital hired a new cast member. Kendrick Cross joins General Hospital as Detective Bennett. The PCPD’s main focus was to find Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Because Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is the hook killer’s main target, it’s assumed that Esme is the killer. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) can’t seem to find any solid leads other than Esme’s hatred for Trina. It’s apparent the PCPD needs more eyes on the job. Hopefully with a fresh face on the force, the authorities will become more efficient in solving crimes. GH rumors hint the mystery doesn’t stop with Heather; giving Detective Bennett an essential role in finding the real killer.
