Nikolas is alive?! After the intense showdown with Ava Jerome (Maura West), Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), and Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Ryan’s death provides mixed emotions. Undoubtedly, the death of a serial killer provides relief to all; especially Ava.
As General Hospital recaps recall, Ryan’s obsession with Ava had her looking over her shoulder for years. After all, he is the reason her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is over. Now that he’s truly gone, she can rest assured that Ryan won’t harm her or anyone she loves again. But safety and peace of mind aren’t all why she’s particularly relieved. In a vulnerable state, Ava confessed to killing Nikolas to Ryan. Now that he’s gone, her secret stays safe between herself and Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).

Earlier, Austin showed up at Wyndemere to help his new friend move Nikolas’s body. Then, their plans changed and suddenly Ava had a house full of chaos. In the midst of all the drama, Ava confessed to killing Nikolas. Thankfully, her secret died with Ryan.
Nikolas is Alive?!
General Hospital rumors hint that Ava might not be out of the woods. Although Ryan seems to be as dead as can be, someone other than Austin knows her secret. GH rumors speculate that her ex husband is missing from where she stashed him, and very much alive.
Now, she and Austin discover an empty closet where Nik’s body was placed. How mysterious! As a result, Ava will be looking over her shoulder fearing Nik’s tell-all return. Nikolas could expose Ava for attempted murder. However, things could be worse. On the bright side, if Nik is alive, she can’t go down for killing him. But, attempted murder isn’t off the table.

Ryan Chamberlain is really dead. It’s finally over. Decades of heinous crimes came to an end. In 1992, Jon Lindstrom joined the General Hospital cast as Ryan Chamberlain. From the start, the role was dark and twisted.
Obsession, infatuation, and fatal attraction describe Ryan Chamberlain’s motivation in life. Over the years, Ryan tormented women, stalked, chased, captured, and even committed murder. At any given point, Ryan could strike and his innocent victims pay the price. And before Ava, there was Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner).

Today, Jon addressed the end of Ryan’s reign of terror. Ryan Chamberlain is as D E A D as can be. There won’t be some sort of soap opera logic that will bring him back down the road. Truly, Ryan Chamberlain is gone for good. However, Lindstrom’s General Hospital status remains active.

Drew blames Nina! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) loves to play the blame game. Taking accountability for her actions isn’t Nina’s strong suit. However, passing the buck to others seems like second nature. In her attempts to victimize herself, Nina zeroes in on a particular person to blame.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nina still blames Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for her tarnished relationship with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Apparently, Nina forgot that she made Willow’s life a living Hell far before Carly entered their orbit.
General Hospital previews and spoilers tease that Willow’s mom is struggling with the reality of her situation. Understandably, Nina wants nothing more than a chance to build a relationship with her daughter. However, she blames Carly for her personal hardships.

Does Austin die? Is Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) story over? Austin arrived in Port Charles after helping Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) give birth in the woods. Ironically, his ties to Port Charles lead him to cross paths with Maxie again.
General Hospital comings and goings news recalls the various characters played by Howarth. From OLTL’s Todd Manning, to GH’s Franco Baldwin, Austin Holt is the 3rd character played by Howarth. General Hospital fans were devastated at Franco Baldwin’s shocking death. Thankfully, Roger soon returned to the canvas as yet another character with the same face. Mostly, it took a while for fans to warm up to the new Doctor Austin Holt with the familiar face. Now that fans accept Roger’s new role, fans fear he’s out at GH yet again.
Does Austin Die?
Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) keft Heather Webber (Alley Mills) in charge at Wyndemere. Meanwhile, he set out to chase after a very pregnant Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Back at Wyndemere, Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) try to keep their cool while their lives are in jeopardy. Although, the two ladies are worried about more than themselves. Whether a copycat or the real deal, Heather stabbed Dr. Holt with a hook and left him for dead. Ava fears for his life as Ryan and Heather call the shots.

Drew Cheetwood returns to GH as Milo Giambetti. Over the years, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had various “muscle” on his payroll. However, there are two of Sonny’s men that fans grew to love the most.

Tragically, the world lost a bright spirit when GH star Sonya Eddy passed away unexpectedly. Cheetwood’s character, Milo, was in a relationship with Sonya’s character, Epiphany Johnson. Is Nikolas really dead? It feels wrong for the writers to have killed off such an iconic character, let alone a staple in one of the main General Hospital families. Stavros, Helena, and the other elder’s legacy lives on in the younger Cassadines. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) should live on to carry that legacy.

Although Laura places blame on her grandson for the pulling the last straw, Nik’s downward spiral has been a long time coming.
Is Nikolas Cassadine Dead?!
According to previous General Hospital rumors and spoilers, controversy surrounds Marcus Coloma’s GH exit. The news came as a shock to fans while Coloma admitted to being “hurt” by the show’s decision. After the announcement regarding Coloma’s exit, fans wondered if Nikolas dies or if the role will be recast. GH news reports revealed that Adam Huss as recast as Nikolas to finish Coloma’s final scenes. From the looks of things, Nik very well might he dead. This isn’t writing you give to a legacy character like Nikolas Cassadine. This kind of writing is for a new character that didn’t work out after 6 months so get rid of them by sweeps. I’m so disappointed in Frank Valentini for letting this hackery hit the screen #GH

Ava and Austin coverup murder? Ms. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is no stranger to doom and gloom. She also knows that sometimes you have to do what you have to do in order to survive.
General Hospital recaps recall Ava Jerome (Maura West) is being sought after by two unhinged men. Her ex-husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) arrived at Wyndemere on a mission to sets things straight with Ava. Their conversation quickly turned toxic when discussing Spencer Cassadines plan to gain custody of Nik’s baby. Nicolas blames Ava for turning over his video confession about Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). The conversation quickly shifted to Ava’s daughter Avery Corinthos. If you hadn’t noticed if you hadn’t noticed, the key term here is Corinthos. Nikolas threatened to take Ava’s daughter, however, messing with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) child is a bad idea. Nik claimed uncle Victor Cassadine would involve himself in kidnapping Avery to help Nikolas. Ava isn’t having any of that and quickly took matters into her own hands. Will Ava have her ex-husband’s blood on her hands?

Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) has become problematic for Ms. Jerome after she witnessed a questionable conversation between he and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). What’s Nikolas Going To Do?
After Spencer blackmailed the Dark Prince, Nikolas pointed out that Spencer is acting in true Cassadine form. He’s especially livid about the part where Ava is lending a helping hand in his downfall. As a result of this family feud, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) fears the worst.
GH previews show Nik at Ava’s new dwelling place. Wyndemere is her home now after having been ripped right from under Nik. He isn’t in the best state of mind after hearing what Spencer had to say. That being aaid, we know Nikolas is capable of more than we can imagine. So, will he lose it on Ava? Some GH rumors tease Nik could go off the rails and either harm Ava, harm himself, or completely disappear. Whatever he does, Spencer will feel the weight of it as if he’s to blame for what happens next.

His 3 year contract recently reached its expiration date with no discussion. He admitted, “It wasn’t like General Hospital was saying, ‘Hey, Marcus, we want you to stay,’ there was no negotiation or anything like that. All I can say to that is… I don’t know why that decision was made but I don’t feel any ill will and it didn’t feel like I got fired, it just felt like, I don’t know, I think there was maybe an understanding that I was going to be there for three years and I think the big surprise is how much it hurt… even though I knew I was going to leave, but it hurt.”
GH news and spoilers reveal that when asked if he would have stayed, Coloma explained that the choice would have been “a really hard decision,” given that he has “big goals,” ones that “would’ve never been realized if I would’ve stayed at General Hospital.” But he made it very clear that his statement wasn’t to take anything away from General Hospital. “I admire everything about it.”

Sadly, Marcus Coloma last aired as Nikolas Cassadine at the end of January. According to General Hospital rumors, Nikolas’s future is uncertain. Unfortunately, the Dark Prince may die. Although a recast has stepped in, Adam Huss took over the role temporarily. Will Nikolas die or go in hiding?
