There aren’t many television/ entertainment genres that can stake a claim in extraordinary longevity. Soap Operas are among the longest running forms of tv entertainment.

Laura Wright joined the daytime scene in 1991 as Ally Rescott on Loving, brought the role to another show called, The City, the started on Guiding Light, before joining the cast of General Hospital. Cameron Mathison is no stranger to the soap opera scene. He joined the cast of ABC’s All My Children in 1997 as Ryan Lavery and ended his run in 2011. Mathison is now a on the front burner in Port Charles as Drew Cain’s recast. He took over the role from Billy Miller. Drew works alongside Wright’s character, General Hospital’s leading lady, Carly Corinthos.
