It’s safe to say that we the fans are all missing our favorite Port Charles residents right about now as Covid-19 has stretched through the end of Winter, all throughout Spring, and now we’ll into Summer. Rest assured General Hospital will be back on ABC and we will all be there, glued to the TV upon it’s glorious return.
General Hospital posted on its official Instagram page a heart warming, nostalgic, and hopeful message wrapped nicely in a short video montage.
The video begins by reading, “This is why you hold your breath,” which in itself is emotionally moving, given the times we are in. Take a look at the video and caption below which states, “Thank God for General Hospital.” In the video, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) can be heard saying, “Thank God for General Hospital.” I don’t know about y’all, but this truly made my day!

General Hospital News: GH’s Ian Buchanan Announces Upcoming Event

Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) and Anna Devane (Finolas Hughes) were a dynamic duo as lovers, friends, as well as partners in adventure throughout the years until the unthinkable, when Duke is killed, leaving Anna angry and vengeful.

I’m recent years, social media has become the norm for people to express their opinions, feelings, and more for the world to read. Social media outlets aren’t just used by the world’s youth or up and coming, but has been mainstream now for a while to people of all ages to use social media as their vocal outlet. Sometime using a platform to express an unfiltered opinion can be risky.

Tristan Roger’s began his journey with the Daytime Drama, General Hospital, on December 2, 1980! Needless to say his role of Robert Scorpio has become one of the most iconic and well known characters in the history of the Soap Opera genre. Rogers, along with Emma Samms as Holly Sutton, and Finola Hughes as Anna Devane, has made quite a name for himself and the Port Charles trio. If anyone knows GH writing history, it’s Tristan!

In a recent tweet from Rogers, he gets nostalgic after rewatching an old scene where Robert met Holly after he had just remarried Anna. Rogers goes on to say, “Wow they don’t write em like that anymore. I’d forgotten. For me that closed the relationship. But a great exit.”

I’m recent GH news and spoilers, it was said to be that July 20th was the date most recently set for film production in LA County to resume. However, after General Hospital news and rumors started circulating, this date is now left up in the air. General Hospitals rumors claim that two General Hospital female actors have tested positive for Covid-19.

General Hospitals news and spoilers revealed the cast and crew would return to work on July 20th and new episodes would start airing nearing the end of August. Since it has been rumored that actress Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) may have been one of the two females who have allegedly tested positive for Covid-19. Kelly’s BFF, Shanna Moakler has confirmed to have the illness and it’s been rumored that the two women have been hanging out together.

Despite all the back and forth, ups and downs, and uncertainty, we keep faith in knowing that things will get back to normal, and General Hospital will soon begin again.

General Hospital News: Covid-19 Update; Red Alert Results In No GH

According to General Hospital’s William DeVry who plays Julian Jerome, the county of Los Angeles is currently on Orange Alert. In a recent tweet, DeVry mentions he is not certain what Orange Alert means, however, he did said if cases continue to rise, they would be put on Red Alert. If Los Angeles County increases to a Red Alert, that would mean no GH due to the increased amount of Covid-19 cases.

According to Soap Dirt, Names of the two females have not been released, however General Hospital rumors suspect Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) as one of the one’s effected. Monaco’s BFF Shanna Moakler, has been confirmed to have Covid-19. Moakler said, “I’m just really exhausted,” Fox News reporter.

Genera Hospital News: Update! GH’s Maurice Benard Promises A Better And More Exciting GH!

General Hospital news and updates regarding the current global pandemic has been hanging in the balance for months. Genera Hospital fans have been wondering when the cast and crew will be able to resume filming. California Governor, Gaven Newsom originally announced that LA County would be able to restart film production last month, but has since retracted.

We may have reached a silver lining after General Hospital’s, Maurice Benard, known as Port Charles’ most iconic mobster and family man, Sonny Corinthos.

Benard took time Instagram to reach out to fans, giving them a hopeful future for the comeback of General Hospital. In the caption Maurice writes, “You ready for some Sonny? We can’t wait to get back and give you guys a BETTER and more exciting GH.”

What could Maurice Benard mean by this statement? It’s not completely clear but General Hospital spoilers and rumors claim it does sound like there will be more mob action in the near future, and more excitement as a whole.
