Those over at General Hospital really know how to tug at the heart strings of their fans. If you are a true General Hospital fan, you’re probably feeling some sadness, disappointment, and an empty feeling while missing this staple in life. GH to it’s fans is not just a TV show. It isn’t just a Soap Opera, it is a way of life for some. To some, GH is an escape from reality, whatever it may be. It’s safe to say that we the fans are all missing our favorite Port Charles residents right about now as Covid-19 has stretched through the end of Winter, all throughout Spring, and now we’ll into Summer. Rest assured General Hospital will be back on ABC and we will all be there, glued to the TV upon it’s glorious return. General Hospital posted on its official Instagram page a heart warming, nostalgic, and hopeful message wrapped nicely in a short video montage. The video begins by reading, “This is why you hold your breath,” which in itself is emotionally moving, given the times we are in. Take a look at the video and caption below which states, “Thank God for General Hospital.” In the video, Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) can be heard saying, “Thank God for General Hospital.” I don’t know about y’all, but this truly made my day!
Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) and Anna Devane (Finolas Hughes) were a dynamic duo as lovers, friends, as well as partners in adventure throughout the years until the unthinkable, when Duke is killed, leaving Anna angry and vengeful.
Although Buchanan hasn’t been on GH since 2015, the actor announced via Instagram, that there will be an upcoming Zoom event which seems to include long time co-star and friend, Finola Hughes. In the post below, Buchanan reveals the event will happen via Zoom, but more details are to come…
I’m recent years, social media has become the norm for people to express their opinions, feelings, and more for the world to read. Social media outlets aren’t just used by the world’s youth or up and coming, but has been mainstream now for a while to people of all ages to use social media as their vocal outlet. Sometime using a platform to express an unfiltered opinion can be risky.
Tristan Roger’s began his journey with the Daytime Drama, General Hospital, on December 2, 1980! Needless to say his role of Robert Scorpio has become one of the most iconic and well known characters in the history of the Soap Opera genre. Rogers, along with Emma Samms as Holly Sutton, and Finola Hughes as Anna Devane, has made quite a name for himself and the Port Charles trio. If anyone knows GH writing history, it’s Tristan!
In a recent tweet from Rogers, he gets nostalgic after rewatching an old scene where Robert met Holly after he had just remarried Anna. Rogers goes on to say, “Wow they don’t write em like that anymore. I’d forgotten. For me that closed the relationship. But a great exit.”
Just watched RnH back when he meets her after re-marrying Anna. Wow they don’t write em like that anymore. I’d forgotten. For me that closed the relationship. But a great exit.
I’m recent GH news and spoilers, it was said to be that July 20th was the date most recently set for film production in LA County to resume. However, after General Hospital news and rumors started circulating, this date is now left up in the air. General Hospitals rumors claim that two General Hospital female actors have tested positive for Covid-19.
General Hospitals news and spoilers revealed the cast and crew would return to work on July 20th and new episodes would start airing nearing the end of August. Since it has been rumored that actress Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) may have been one of the two females who have allegedly tested positive for Covid-19. Kelly’s BFF, Shanna Moakler has confirmed to have the illness and it’s been rumored that the two women have been hanging out together.
Despite all the back and forth, ups and downs, and uncertainty, we keep faith in knowing that things will get back to normal, and General Hospital will soon begin again.
General Hospital’s Finolas Hughes took to social media to reach out to fans, letting them know more about the future of GH. In her most recent post on Instagram, Finola Hughes, who plays Anna Devane, posted a short video clip of General Hospital scenes, making fans feel quite nostalgic. The caption read, “We’ll be back…” Take a look a the post and video below.
According to General Hospital’s William DeVry who plays Julian Jerome, the county of Los Angeles is currently on Orange Alert. In a recent tweet, DeVry mentions he is not certain what Orange Alert means, however, he did said if cases continue to rise, they would be put on Red Alert. If Los Angeles County increases to a Red Alert, that would mean no GH due to the increased amount of Covid-19 cases.
General Hospital news and spoilers indicated production for GH is still scheduled to resume on July 20th.
General Hospital Blog will keep fans up to date regarding any changes in scheduled production due to the pandemic.
Take a look at the info provided in DeVry’s tweet below.
L.A. County is now on Orange Alert, whatever that means. We R looking @ Red Alert (that sounds bad) if cases continue 2 go up. Red would mean NO GH, I'm assuming. All that talk about "your freedoms" & protecting your conservative values (freedom) 2 not wear a mask is killing us.
Sofia Mattsson is fairly new to General Hospital and GH fans are just starting to get to know the real woman who plays the role of Sasha Gilmore and lives in Port Charles. Mattsson reveals a little about herself via her social media posts, letting fans in to see the woman behind the role. In a recent post on Instagram, Sofia Mattsson announced her love for nature and hope that one day she will live countryside. Sofia currently resides in California in order to be near her place of employment at Prospect Studios. Genera Hospital rumors have suggested if Mattsson leaves GH, she would most likely follow her dreams on where she wants to live. Hopefully someday she can settled down somewhere in the country.
General Hospital breaking news has just hit social media as it has been reported that two female General Hospital stars have tested positive for Covid-19. According to Soap Dirt, Names of the two females have not been released, however General Hospital rumors suspect Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) as one of the one’s effected. Monaco’s BFF Shanna Moakler, has been confirmed to have Covid-19. Moakler said, “I’m just really exhausted,” Fox News reporter. Just a couple days ago, General Hospital Blog announced that GH will resume production on July 20th. However, due to the latest General Hospital spoilers and rumors, this date may be postponed as they work through all the rumors regarding cast members contracting Covid-19. There has not been another female named as of yet.
It’s finally here, a date we can jot down as being the date the cast and crew of General Hospital head back to the studio. California Governor’s executive order prohibited the prediction of film throughout this global pandemic. Due to Covid-19, Hollywood has been at a stand still. Genera Hospital news and spoilers reveals that the show we resume production on July 20th. In other soap opera news, it has been announced that NBC’s, Days Of Our Lives, will start filming again September 1st.l, as they are the only soap opera to have remaining episodes at this time.
We love a good history lesson, especially when it comes to the cast of GeneralHospital! It’s always fun learning about what shaped these stars when they were young. For one General Hospital front woman, her colorful past was revealed via Instagram. General Hospital’s Maura West, who plays, the ruthless yet loving, Ava Jerome, shared a photo of herself from back in her high school days. Maura’s photo of herself from a high school production is captioned, “My first production in High School…I was a Pink Lady.” Young Maura is shown sipping on a beverage dressed in theater ? makeup. Who wasn’t a fan of the musical, ‘Grease’?! We are positive that Maura West knocked them Pink Lady role out of the park! Take a look at the post below!
General Hospital news and updates regarding the current global pandemic has been hanging in the balance for months. Genera Hospital fans have been wondering when the cast and crew will be able to resume filming. California Governor, Gaven Newsom originally announced that LA County would be able to restart film production last month, but has since retracted.
We may have reached a silver lining after General Hospital’s, Maurice Benard, known as Port Charles’ most iconic mobster and family man, Sonny Corinthos.
Benard took time Instagram to reach out to fans, giving them a hopeful future for the comeback of General Hospital. In the caption Maurice writes, “You ready for some Sonny? We can’t wait to get back and give you guys a BETTER and more exciting GH.”
What could Maurice Benard mean by this statement? It’s not completely clear but General Hospital spoilers and rumors claim it does sound like there will be more mob action in the near future, and more excitement as a whole.
Who is ready for more Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), and the rest of the Port Charles crew?! We are!
