General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn, has never been one to keep her opinions to herself- and she does not have to. Grahn has every freedom is the great USA to speak her mind, publicly. However, the rest us us also have that right. If Nancy is free to use her voice, it’s safe and fair to say that so is everyone else, I mean, right?! As race relations heat up in our nation this Summer, some of us may get caught up in this polarizing situation. General Hospital news reveals GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn, who portrays Alexis Davis, is using social media to not only voice her opinions on current events which are political and racial in content, but to also shun others who do not share in her opinions. In a recent tweet from Grahn, you can read what she typed to her followers, and most likely former followers and/or fans. Nancy uses name calling by tweeting that some of her fans who happen to like a show she is on are [bigot or racist. And just because she is in a show they like, that doesn’t mean she is connected with her fans].
If you still support trump, mcConnell, barr, graham, pompeo, the GOP senators, along with ALL cowards who knew & chose to stay silent in the last 4 yrs, as well as any bigot or racist who just happen to like the show I'm on yet think we are connected in any way? GET OFF MY PAGE.
This outburst isn’t the first during quarantine, and comes after she and co-star, Ingo Rademacher (Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks), has it out on Twitter over politics, resulting is Nancy blocking Ingo from the social media outlet. You can check out that story, HERE.
Nancy seems to be participating in a great divide, polarizing not only the General Hospital fanbase who differ in political views, but aiding in the polarization of the people of our nation as a whole.

The cast and crew of General Hospital have been expressive during quarantine regarding how much they miss work and their GH family. It’s been three or so months since film production in LA shut down due to Covid-19. Recently there has been a lot of back and forth with the California Government, and the decision to resume film by Governor Gavin Newsom. General Hospital news reveals Governor Newsom has given the green light in LA Country for studios to welcome cast and crew back to the set of our favorite productions. The official order will be announced today, June 11th, by LA Health Officials and Government. The order will state that film production may resume in LA County, so long as health and safety protocols and precautions are met in order to ensure maximum health safety. General Hospital news reports the film industry will have the green light as of Friday, June 12th. It remains unclear as to when Prospect Studios, where General Hospital is filmed, specifically, will open up for production. Some of the GH cast members have used twitter to voice their thoughts on when they wi be returning f to work, however, no official date has been announced. The date in which film production for General Hospital resumes will depend on the timeliness and effectiveness of having the new health and safety guidelines met and in places. Check back with General Hospital Blog for the latest information.
Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) true background has remained a mystery since moving to Port Charles. Although the ever trusting, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), thinks nothing of Dev’s intentions, his right hand man, and very intuitive, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), thinks there may be more than meets the eye. Genera Hospital rumors have claimed Dev to be the son of Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), Sonny’s ex, and Alec Janacek Jr. (Antonie Knoppers). Alec was son of The Balkan, whom is now deceased, but was an enemy of Sonny. Both men have died at the hand of someone connected to Sonny. Dev Cerci kept bringing up that he was from Turkey and how important his traditions were to be carried on. He and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had a tender moment when discussing Dev’s heritage and traditions. Genera Hospital rumors hint that the geographic connection of Dev’s background makes perfect sense when claiming Dev is the Grandson of The Balkan. Genera Hospital news and spoilers pointed out Maurice Benard’s take on having Vanessa Marcil return to the role of Brenda Barrett. In a recent article by GH Blog, it was revealed that Maurice thinks bringing Vanessa back is a “no brained.” That being said, as Dev’s character develops, and we learn more about his past, General Hospital rumors hint that Brenda will return to reunite with her son- Dev.
New couple alert! General Hospital rumors hint toward an unexpected yet pleasant idea for a couple, Julian and Liz!
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) needs a love interest and fans out there think Julian and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) would make a great fit. Apparently William DeVry, GH’s Julian Jerome, thinks so too. In a tweet directed at a fan, DeVry mentions that Julian and Liz have “the most epic ship name. But it’s R Rated.” DeVry doesn’t go on to elaborate- but a fan does.
Take a look at the tweet and replies here below.
Why does this say this Tweet has been delted @EmilyLesleyH ? "Julian and Liz works have the most epic ship name. But it’s R RATED"
Doesn’t DeVry know that couple “ship name” already has a history with General Hospital fans and dan wars? Here’s a little history lesson for those who may not know the back story… back in the day there used to be a much larger fan war between the Liz and Jason aka Liason fans, and Jason and Sam aka JaSam fans. The two fan bases battled it out over on the SoapNet Message Boards that night longer exist. The die hard Jason and Sam fans called the Liason fans, “Jizzers,” in a negative way to express their distaste for the couple.
Now that that’s all out in the open ?, we ask fans this, could you see Julian and Liz as a couple?
Before there was ever a Caroline Benson, aka Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a love that burned so hot it was inevitable that it would end in flames. Sonny and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) had one of the most memorably passionate relationships in Daytime TV, Soap Opera history. Their love story was up and down, with highs and lows, and was centered around a time when the mob was even more prominent in Sonny’s life than it is now. Sonny and Brenda have been to Hell and back with one another.
One major storyline which sucks fans in and captivated the audience was when Brenda wore a wire. Sonny had never felt so betrayed, and their scenes were so intense, the talent just shined through.
Recently, Maurice Benard had an interview with Soaps In Depth. In the interview, Benard mentioned he would welcome co-star, Vanessa Marcil, back to General Hospital any time. Benard stated, “If I [had my say], she would have been back about five years ago. She brings ratings, and if you put two and two together, that’s four. So, if you bring her back, it’s a no-brainer.”
Considering Sonny’s current life with his wife, Carly, and their family, he reflected on another key component- Jasper “Jax” Jacks. He’s just another piece of history that fits. Maurice added, “You [brought] back Jax, then you got Brenda, and you got a whole cool thing going on.”
Months ago, General Hospital Blog reporter GH spoilers involving Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and the possibility of him having ties to a former enemy of Sonny’s, The Balkan. General Hospital rumors claim Dev will fit into a much larger story, as it’s possible he is the son of Brenda Barrett, and grandchild of The Balkan. Maurice Benard’s opinion seems to weigh heavily on decision making regarding the show. Benard is smart, talented, has great insight, and knows the ins and outs of the production. There seems to be great potential for having Vanessa Marcil return to GH as Brenda Barrett.
On Friday, June 5, California Governor, Gavin Newsom, and the California Public Health Department made an announcement regarding Music, TV and film production; that it may resume in California no sooner than Friday, June 12th. Although General Hospital fans had high hopes, it is unfortunate for cast, crew, and fans alike, that the restart will not include Los Angeles County filming, which includes the Daytime Soap Operas on all networks, which means our beloved, General Hospital, will not resume production on June 12th as hoped. Due to recent health concerns, Los Angeles County is holding off on restarting film production. “There has been a slight increase over the last three days in the number of people hospitalized,” said Los Angeles County Public Health Director, Barbara Ferrer. Even with guidelines for safely returning to wrk being met, there is no information on the time frame it will take to get back into the swing of things in LA County. We will keep you posted on any new developments.
There have been a few new developments over the course of the past week in regard to the return of film production in Hollywood. General Hospital Blog previously reported General Hospital news involving guidelines studios must follow and precautions that need to be in place before returning safely to work. It has been stated that California Governor, Gavin Newsom, stated the film industry could resume no sooner than June 12th- that is IF guidelines and health precautions are properly in place. General Hospital spoilers reveal a Tweet posted by General Hospital’s William DeVry, who portrays bad boy, Julian Jerome, announces to his followers and GH fans that they will NOT be returning to work this coming Friday. DeVry does not elaborate, other than in a separate tweet, he mentions there are too many variables to speculate. GH Blog will keep fans up to date on any new developments regarding the restart of film production.
General Hospital’s Maurice Benard, who plays the legendary role of Port Charles mob boss, Sonny Corinthos, is a man of many facets. Benard is a phenomenal actor, a husband, father, mentor, mental health advocate, and now to add to the list, certified to conduct marriage ceremonies. General Hospital news reveals Maurice Benard in an al new role, as he leads the ceremony in his daughter, Cailey’s, and now son-in-law, Carlos’, nuptials. Benard’s Instagram contains video footage of Maurice’s speech to his daughter and her fiancé as he leads into the marriage ceremony. Take a look at the personal and precious event for the Benard family.
Dr. Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has been wrongfully accused and charged with Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) crimes involving the death of Drew Cain (Billy Miller). However, we all know that Peter framed Liesl, just as he framed Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) for the death of cult leader, Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Liesl is desperate to prove her own innocence. Everyone she loves, including her own daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has turned their back on her, believing that she committed said crimes. Jason and Sam Morgan (Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco) are onto Peter, but even with Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) help, they’ve found little to completely nail him. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), although isn’t Liesl’s biggest fan, he cares for Peter much less and will help to prove he is deceiving Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), his girlfriend, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and everyone else close to him.
General Hospital news revealed Kathleen Gati’s exit is only temporary. General Hospital spoilers and rumors have indicated that upon her return, she will bring back with her something so huge, it would prove she didn’t tamper with Drew’s plane in an attempt not murder. General Hospital rumors claim that Billy Miller was in discussion with GH executives regarding a return. However, the unexpected global crisis, Covid-19 pandemic, caused everything to hit the brakes- including acting contracts, film, and production.
Now that we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as lockdown comes to an end, it is possible the return of Billy Miller as Drew Cain could be in the works. Will Dr. Obrecht find Drew Cain alive and bring him back to Port Charles? Peter is running on borrowed time!
General Hospital news regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and it’s effects on Hollywood and the film industry has taken a positive turn. The state of California has been under strict stay-at-home orders since March, originally stating General Hospital cast and crew would not be back to work until about August. California’s Guidelines for the film industry was previously reported by General Hospital Blog and you can find that information HERE. Genera Hospital news has confirmed that these recommended guidelines for the film industry to safely return to work, are not to be considered before June 12th. That is, if everything is in place and approved at the production studios in that short amount of time, California Governor, Gavin Newsom can give the green light to return to work and return to film.
