General Hospital’s Ashton Arbab, known on screen as Dev Cerci, has shared a trailer for a brand new Netflix movie in which he takes part.
General Hospital news reports a trailer has been released for the Netflix thriller, “The Babysitter’s Guide To Monster Hunting.” The movie about a group of high schoolers recruiting a teen to battle the Boogeyman will be released on October 14th!
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is trying to live her life as a regular teenager the best way she can. Despite the whole mon life family thing and being kidnapped at the last dance, Josslyn is headed to Homecoming.
General Hospital spoilers reveal twists and turns shrewd for the Port Charles teen clan, Josslyn, Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab), Trina Robinson (Sydney Makayla), and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
General Hospital news reports a recent tweet from GH actress Eden McCoy, announcing to her followers, “ok so y’all are in for some twists for sure ???? ????. hang on tight ;).”
General Hospital fans have been wondering why they haven’t seen Dev Cerci lately in Port Charles. The teen group just isn’t the same without him, as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and Trina Robinson (Sydney Makayla), go through typical teen drama, mixed with the threat of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and dealing with the loss of Trina’s father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).
In General Hospital comings and goings, GH news confirmed actor Ashton Arbab tapes his first scenes since the lockdown, this week.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors have claimed that Dev’s character will somehow be involved with Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). We look forward to Dev’s debut back at GH!
In the 1990’s Julia Barrett founded Port Charles’s own cosmetics company, Deception. She launched the business with Dominique (Shell Danielson) and Scotty Baldwin and hired Julia’s sister Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) as the very first ‘Face of Deception.’ According to General Hospital history, when Dominique passed away in 1994, Scotty and Julian left the company, and left Lucy to run things as CEO. From there, the rest is history.
Fast forward twenty some years and Deception has found a new face and is ready to launch the modern day version of the cosmetic company. Things were starting to fall into place for Lucy when she discovered Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha was the perfect woman to represent Deception and Lucy was ready to run with it. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy are working together to make sure this project becomes a success and they are counting on Sasha to help make that happen. Sasha is going through some major drama in her life after she and Michael broke up. Sasha is feeling overwhelmed and caved into being persuaded into taking drugs.
The Face Of Deception
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha’s drug use isn’t just a one time thing. Unfortunately, she is headed down a dark path which could jeopardize her own career as well as Deception as a whole.
As General Hospital rumors regarding the return of Brenda Barrett circulate, the story line has the potential to head into a direction no one saw coming. GH rumors suspect Marcil May return to General Hospital in the ear future after GH news and spoilers claim she is Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) mother. GH rumors hint that Sasha and Brenda will meet and connect during Sasha’s dark days as Brenda could return to step in to the role of representing the company. Lucy Coe will have to go to great lengths to keep Deception in a positive lime light, and by doing so it’s likely she will reach out to Brenda to come to Port Charles.
Previously, General Hospital Blog revealed Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) spoke of Marcil, stating that bringing the actress back would be a “no brainer.”Will Brenda return as part of multiple upcoming stories in Port Charles?
Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) true background has remained a mystery since moving to Port Charles. Although the ever trusting, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), thinks nothing of Dev’s intentions, his right hand man, and very intuitive, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), thinks there may be more than meets the eye. Genera Hospital rumors have claimed Dev to be the son of Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil), Sonny’s ex, and Alec Janacek Jr. (Antonie Knoppers). Alec was son of The Balkan, whom is now deceased, but was an enemy of Sonny. Both men have died at the hand of someone connected to Sonny. Dev Cerci kept bringing up that he was from Turkey and how important his traditions were to be carried on. He and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had a tender moment when discussing Dev’s heritage and traditions. Genera Hospital rumors hint that the geographic connection of Dev’s background makes perfect sense when claiming Dev is the Grandson of The Balkan. Genera Hospital news and spoilers pointed out Maurice Benard’s take on having Vanessa Marcil return to the role of Brenda Barrett. In a recent article by GH Blog, it was revealed that Maurice thinks bringing Vanessa back is a “no brained.” That being said, as Dev’s character develops, and we learn more about his past, General Hospital rumors hint that Brenda will return to reunite with her son- Dev.
Before there was ever a Caroline Benson, aka Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a love that burned so hot it was inevitable that it would end in flames. Sonny and Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) had one of the most memorably passionate relationships in Daytime TV, Soap Opera history. Their love story was up and down, with highs and lows, and was centered around a time when the mob was even more prominent in Sonny’s life than it is now. Sonny and Brenda have been to Hell and back with one another.
One major storyline which sucks fans in and captivated the audience was when Brenda wore a wire. Sonny had never felt so betrayed, and their scenes were so intense, the talent just shined through.
Recently, Maurice Benard had an interview with Soaps In Depth. In the interview, Benard mentioned he would welcome co-star, Vanessa Marcil, back to General Hospital any time. Benard stated, “If I [had my say], she would have been back about five years ago. She brings ratings, and if you put two and two together, that’s four. So, if you bring her back, it’s a no-brainer.”
Considering Sonny’s current life with his wife, Carly, and their family, he reflected on another key component- Jasper “Jax” Jacks. He’s just another piece of history that fits. Maurice added, “You [brought] back Jax, then you got Brenda, and you got a whole cool thing going on.”
Months ago, General Hospital Blog reporter GH spoilers involving Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and the possibility of him having ties to a former enemy of Sonny’s, The Balkan. General Hospital rumors claim Dev will fit into a much larger story, as it’s possible he is the son of Brenda Barrett, and grandchild of The Balkan. Maurice Benard’s opinion seems to weigh heavily on decision making regarding the show. Benard is smart, talented, has great insight, and knows the ins and outs of the production. There seems to be great potential for having Vanessa Marcil return to GH as Brenda Barrett.
Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) showed up at the right place at the right time to save mob boss Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wife, Carly (Laura Wright) from the shootout. Although the coincidental act of heroism was questioned briefly, nobody really dug into how and why Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) son would had been said to be deceased just suddenly shows up, and saves Carly’s life from Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) attack. Brando quickly agreed to do Sonny a favor and play the role of Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) Dad in order to make it more believable that Gladys is Dev’s Grandmother to keep him in Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers suggest this isn’t just a coincidence that Brando has suddenly arrived in Port Charles just as Cyrus was making his attack on the city along with Sonny, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and his organization. General Hospital news and spoilers claim Brando Corbin is actually an undercover agent, working to take down Cyrus, just as Jordan Ashford worked undercover in the past. If true, Brando really needs to watch his back for Cyrus to retaliate once the truth comes out.
General Hospital rumors hint Brando is one of the good guys. He was there to save Carly when she needed saving, he stepped up to help Sonny and Dev, and his all around vibe just screams “legit.”
Will Jason pick up on Brando being undercover? It would be nice for Sonny and Jason to have law enforcement on their side for change. That way they could work together to disarm the threat to Port Charles.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a lot going on right now as he and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are focused on protecting their families from drug lord mobster, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who recently was transferred to Pentonville. Cyrus managed to get himself transferred to Pentonville in order to get himself close to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Cyrus is out for revenge on Jordan and Taggert (Real Andrews), but he also has a target on Sonny’s back which has been ordered by a secret partner of Renault’s over seas.
General Hospital spoilers previously hinted that the boy Sonny has welcomed into his home, Dev Cerci) (Ashton Arbab), may be in Port Charles for other reasons than initially claimed. Now that there is a full blown mob war that has hit Port Charles, there has been talk of Dev leaving for boarding school. If it were up to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Dev wouldn’t be going anywhere! With Sonny’s focus on the mob, it was decided that Dev will be sent off to boarding school in order to make things easier on the Corinthos family by not having to protect Dev not only form Cyrus, but to protect his identity as well.
Is Dev (Ashtom Arbab) leaving General Hospital?
Dev and Joss discussed his upcoming departure and it was obvious she wasn’t happy with the news. General Hospital rumors suggest that Dev will not go through with leaving. But what stops him? Will Josslyn convince Dev to stay in Port Charles, or will something go down at the school dance that would change the direction of Carly’s (Laura wright) plans for Dev.
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) cousin Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) came to Port Charles claiming to simply want to visit family, see how Mike (Max Gail) is doing and so on. She gave Sonny a sob story about how she misses her late son, Brando (Johnny Wactor). All the while, General Hospital spoilers have been hinting that Gladys has ulterior motives. She is currently taking money from Sonny in an agreement that she pretends to be Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) Grandmother while he stays with the Corinthos family.
In recent General Hospital spoilers, it has been revealed that Brando, Gladys Corbin’s son, is actually alive and showed up in the middle of the shoot out. Brando is the gunman who saved Carly from the shots fired but things may not be what they seem. Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) may already be onto Brando, after she asked him if he is working for Sonny or the enemy. He saved Carly (Laura Wright) no doubt, but he could have only done that to try and play Sonny and make them think he is on their side.
Brando could definitely be working for the enemy, especially since we were led to believe he was dead, but there is possibly a bigger picture. General Hospital spoilers indicate he could actually be one of the good guys. It’s quite possible Brando had to fake his death in order to stay incognito, while working on taking down Sonny’s enemies from the inside.
New General Hospital rumors claim Brando and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may know one another beyond being relatives. GH rumors that Brando could also work for the WSB, and has ties with Dante from there.
It remains to be seen which side Brando is on, but as the mob story unfolds, it’ll become very clear where he stands.
Will Brando stand with Sonny and the Corinthos clan or is he someone they need to fear?
It’s no joke that 2020 is going to be a huge year for General Hospital drama as GH fans keep getting hit with shocking revelations and unexpected twists and turns.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has always been Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right hand man and his go to person when he needs advice. Jason has great instincts and always points Sonny in the right direction when it comes to external factors in their lives. Sonny tends to run on emotion while Jason is able to look at the big picture with unbiased opinions. He seems to know what is what and whose intentions are pure and who has ulterior motives.
Jason’s natural skills may be needed at this point in time as questions begin to arise regarding Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). Dev comes from Turkish decent which may have ties to Sonny’s old enemy The Balkan, who had Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) under his control. Brenda had been in a relationship with Alec Janacek (Antonie Knoppers) until they ultimately broke up due to his involvement in criminal activity including trafficking and he then started stalking Brenda. She fled to Manhattan and was able to get help from Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Dante was responsible for shooting and killing Alec in order to protect Brenda. The Balkan, Theo Hoffman (Daniel Benzali), was the grandfather of Brenda’s son Alec whom she conceived with Janacek.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Dev is actually Brenda and Aleksander Janacek’s son, Alec all grown up. It’s possible Sonny doesn’t recognize the boy since the last he saw Alec (Quinn Friedman) he was 4 years old. It makes perfect sense for Dev to want revenge on Sonny and his family since Dante is responsible for the boy’s father’s death.
As mentioned before, Jason is usually right when it comes to reading people and their intentions. Jason questioned Sonny when he opened his home to this young man and asked Sonny if he was sure this was the right thing to do. General Hospital spoilers hint that Jason was right yet again and Dev is not who he claims to be.
Is Brenda’s son Alec in town to finish what his Grandfather The Blakan didn’t get to do? There has been heavy word of a new mob war brewing in Port Charles after previews reveal Jordan asking Jason if he and Sonny have made a new enemy.
This may be the most shocking identity revelation in a long time, causing the most trouble throughout Port Charles. A mob war is long over due and Sonny and Jason will be ready to fight.
