Carly Asks Nina To Team Up

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may not be Sonny Corinthos’s wife anymore, but she’ll forever have his back. Despite the ugly split and then betrayal that Carly felt when Sonny pursued a relationship with Nina, Carly and Sonny always look out for each other.

General Hospital recaps recall Sonny’s trust issues. Recently, he made the mistake of trusting Ava Jerome (Maura West). Meanwhile, he turned his back on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly. But first, he found out that Nina betrayed him and his family when she turned Carly and Drew into the SEC. That’s when he decided that Nina could no longer be trusted. Finally, not until later on did Sonny confide in Ava while pushing Carly and Jason away.

As Taylor Swift says, “I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked.” That’s exactly what happened when Sonny told Ava that she’s the only person he can trust, while tearing down Carly and Jason. Mistakenly, Sonny leaned on and confided in a former mobster. But you know what they say, once a mobster, always a mobster. Just kidding, I don’t know if anyone really says that. But seriously, GH has taught me that it’s pretty hard to leave the business.

First of all, Ava dated Sonny’s son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). That alone should be reason enough to keep his distance. Instead, Sonny ended up sleeping with his son’s ex! Then, Sonny blows off the fact that Ava killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), AND had a hand in his son Morgan’s death! How can he blow that off? Still, he got close to her in recent times despite her heinous deeds.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny may have labeled Nina and Carly traitors, but that doesn’t stop them from caring about his well being. Carly has a feeling that Ava and Agent Cates are working together, and that Ava is helping Cates take down Sonny. Apparently, Carly asks Nina to work together against Ava.

Can these enemies find a way to get along?

Now that you all know how I feel about being subject to viewing Nina and Drew’s extra-curricular activities, let’s speculate. According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Nina and Drew are finishing up another awkward encounter when there’s a knock at the door!

Drew Cain (Camera Mathison) was head over heels for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Although, one would never guess after his recent tryst with Carly’s arch enemy. How could Drew’s feelings for Carly have been real love if he can just hop into bed (or the office desk, floor, etc.) with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?

You know those people who knock but they don’t wait for a response? Instead, they turn the handle and push forward? …According to General Hospital spoilers, there’s a knock at the door as Drew slides his belt through his pant loops. As for Nina, she’s in a robe looking cozier than she should during her 9-5.

Despite being perhaps too obvious, GH rumors hint that Carly walks in on her ex just as he and Nina finish mixing business with pleasure. If Carly has risen above petty revenge, this could surely snap her back into old habits. Still, no one is more petty thank Nina.

…But what if it’s Willow?! 😳 what would be worse for Nina if Carly walked in at this moment or if Willow walked in?

Nina, Nina, Nina! She doesn’t know when to quit. It doesn’t matter what consequences she suffers because she just keeps on keeping on- and not in a motivational/survival mode. It’s more like she continues to hurt others even though she’s also self destructive.

General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Nina feels threatened. Will her fears be enough to put an end to her revenge drama? Although Nina’s vindictive plots against Carly also blew up in her own face, she can’t stop herself from her petty drama. Maybe the right person has to come along and scare the smug right off of her face. Now that Jason Morgan is back in Port Charles things are about to change. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Jason warns Nina to stay away from Carly. Enough is enough now it’s time for Nina to move on.

So far Jason has already helped Carly when it comes to Nina. As GH recaps recall, Jason bought he does half of the mushroom report and gave it back to Carly.. While it looks like Jason came through for his bestie, Nina also had to agree to sell. What is it about Jason that made Nina comply? And will she do it again?

Then, he had a few choice words for some Quartermaine rivals, and even Carly got a little taste of the new Drew.

However, no one received more of Drew’s wrath than the woman who sent him to Pentonville. Finally, Nina’s antics sent Drew over the edge. There’s no doubt that his last Pentonville stay left lasting effects on his personality as a whole. The change as has a devastating impact on Drew’s relationships, especially his own relationship with Carly. Sadly, his no nonsense approach at life left him unavailable to deal with Carly’s infatuation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). In his mind he knows that no one will ever compare to Jason in Carly’s heart, so he bolted before he was the one left standing alone.

General Hospital recaps reveal that Drew wasted no time after his breakup with Carly. He went straight to Nina to discuss Crimson. Now that he’s fired Carly, he needs someone to take over as Crimson’s Editor In Chief. Their banter was almost playful despite their mutual loathing of each other.

According to GH spoilers and rumors the rage Drew feels toward Nina turns into passion. Furthermore, fans can’t help but wonder what will come of these two as they work side by side for Crimson’s success.

Obesssion might be the proper word to describe Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) interest in Carly Corinthos Spencer’s (Laura Wright) life. Her behavior as of late isn’t the only indicator that Nina Reeves is a few cards short of a deck.

Prior to Carly, Nina committed some unthinkable crimes, just to eventually become besties and even the wife of her victims. Why? The world may never know. But Nina definitely stole Sonny and Ava’s daughter Avery- out of Ava’s womb. And now she’s best friends with Ava and married to Sonny. Well, I guess that’s how they roll in Port Charles.

It all began when Nina lost her long lost daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). She had searched for her child for years, just to learn that she was right under her nose. Furthermore, when she finally learned her daughter’s identity it was too late. Nelle was a psychopath and died because of her own actions. Still, rage rose up working Nina and sparked a certain vengeance in her soul. Of course, we all know that the finger was pointed right to Carly. As GH recaps highlight, Nina has married Carly’s husband and stolen her hotel. Also, she tipped off the SEC and sent Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to Pentonville.

Could the ongoing feud between Nina and Carly simply fizzle to an end? Well, maybe. However, it seems that would only be likely if Nina had someone else’s life to focus on. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Carly is yesterday’s news. I suppose that doesn’t mean that she’s done sticking it to Carly for good, but GH spoilers tease that Nina has an entirely new focus. Apparently Nina has never heard the phrase don’t shoot the messenger. The spite effect that Nina ruined her own marriage she lashed out at Diane for delivering the divorce papers. Will Diane have to watch her back?

So what will it be, folks? Will Nina and Carly quit while they’re still in one piece, or will it cost a lot more to “settle the score”?

At this point I can’t even remotely fathom how anyone is on Nina’s side. Don’t get me wrong because I think Nina is a crazy cool character, and Cynthia Watros is exceptionally talented. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t see her problematic nature, faults, and flaws. In fact, Cynthia’s acting abilities is what makes me compare her to all the narcissists in my life. Simply put, Cynthia Watros plays it so well. How can anyone possibly hate on that? Now her character in the other hand, she’s fair game.

GH recaps recall Nina’s fierce reaction to Carly and Drew’s Crimson stunt. What’s the point of asking Carly if they’re finally even if she doesn’t plan on leaving well enough alone? It’s apparent that Nina has zero plans to leave things as they are with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). Obviously, Nina doesn’t care about playing fair when all she sees is red and Carly’s smirk every time she closes her eyes. If I didn’t know better, it surely looks like Carly and Drew ignite the evil spirits within Nina as they’ve been fighting to emerge. I’d I had to guess, I’d say that this feud is far from over.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Valentin makes Nina an offer. Evidently, the offer is so enticing that Nina contemplates her next move. GH turned give that Valentin’s offer would give Nina the upper hand over Drew and Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Will Nina take on a new role at ELQ?

Job interviews, first dates, and meeting your future in-laws are somewhat stressful events for some. That said, it’s important to make a good first impression. But what about unexpected encounters? Many would argue that even meeting someone at random holds similar notions. A future connection with a new person weighs heavily on that very first meeting. So, what’s that say about Nina Reeves, and her first impression on Port Charles?

GH recaps highlight Nina’s state of mind when she arrive in Port Charles. It’s no secret that she’d been in a coma, and they she displayed mental instability. As time went on Cynthia Watros’s character grew as the writer’s dove deeper into Nina’s personality. Soon, Nina had some redeeming qualities, but her biggest personality trait for me is who she was in her first impression in PC. You can’t forget crazy.

Fast forward and Nina’s covert craziness rears its ugly head. She’s been able to subdue her real self for a few years, but that’s good and done. Now that she’s told her last lie as Mrs. Corinthos, General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Nina declares war on Sonny and Carly.

A recent interview with Soap Opera Disgest gives a look into the future. Reportedly, Cynthia addressed the pressing question about Sonny and Nina. She was asked if they were done and her answer gives little hope to Sonny and Nina fans. “There’s no going back to Sonny right now,” Watros declared to the news outlet. She continued to shed light on the situation with her continued reply. “He’s so angry. I don’t think that she feels like all hope is lost but she doesn’t know quite how to go forward or if there is a path to getting the relationship back. It really is all in Sonny’s hands. I mean, it’s up to him.

Of course, there’s always room for hope, especially in Port Charles. Then, Cynthia explains why there is a glimmer of hope for Nina to keep her man. “They’re both still wearing their wedding rings,” she mentioned. “So there is a glimmer of hope.
