Was Sonny’s proposal a pity ask? Something about his delivery, and the conversation leading up to the question that gives off a disingenuous vibe. It almost seems like Sonny proposed out of pity!

General Hospital Recap: A couple years ago, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was led astray by a master deceiver. In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) took advantage of a vulnerable man who she knew had a family back home. Because of this, the Corinthos family was torn apart. Oddly enough, Sonny thinks he’s fallen for his captor. And now they plan to ride off into the sunset.

Sonny Buys Nina’s Pity Party, But It’ll Cost Her In The End

Nina’s little sob fest was a manipulation tactic to get Sonny on her side. Once again, she played victim as she cried wolf. Then, Sonny’s random marriage proposal took the audience, as well as Nina, by surprise. Although she’s yet to answer him, we should probably just assume that she goes forward with the engagement with her secret hanging over like a dark cloud.

General Hospital rumors storyline speculations hint toward a disastrous outcome for Sonny and Nina. It’s clear that their lives don’t align. Love should come naturally. Neither party should have to jump through hoops in hope for peace. In relationships, family dynamics play a major role in the health of the couple’s relationship. So, because Sonny’s entire family cannot stand her, it just doesn’t seem realistic for Nina and Sonny when so much stands between them.

According to the latest General Hospital rumors, Sonny was influenced by Nina’s pity party and sheer desperation for validation drive him to blurt our a marriage proposal. She was really laying it on thick. Obviously, she guilt tripped him after he voiced his stance on Carly, Michael and Willow. She was unhappy that he declared himself Switzerland, and not her full supporter. It’s a classic move from an entitled, self-serving person to make someone feel guilty for having boundaries. Luckily for Nina, this worked in her favor. Now, GH fans wonder if Sonny proposed out of pity.

Joss confronts Michael! …Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) orchestrated an epic takedown. He strategized a plan to destroy his own father, and he even outsourced to get the job done. Unbeknownst to Michael, his fiancé Willow Tait was battling leukemia while he focus was on this nefarious plan.

General Hospital Recap: Michael and his sister Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) aww Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in a similar light. Despite their history with the mobster, Michael and Joss want him put away. Unexpectedly, Joss fell for Michael’s informant, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Their undeniable attraction made it difficult to stay apart. But it wasn’t until later on that Josslyn learned that Dex actually worked for Michael.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Josslyn is furious now that Michael has retracted his mission. Joss confronts Michael for making Dex a target, and leaving him with 2 equally undesirable options. Now that Michael wont’t turn over the evidence, Sonny isn’t going to prison. That leaves Dex is a horrible position. While Michael assumed Dex would simply skip town and put Port Charles in the past, but Josslyn tells her brother that Dex is staying. Dex is a Quartermaine?! Here’s how… Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) mission to take down his own father was made possible because of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Oddly, Michael was able to find someone willing to risk his own life to bring down someone he don’t even know.

Don’t worry, we know what you’re thinking because we think that too. Why would anyone do that unless there’s more in it for them? Well, you’re not wrong to ask that question. And apparently, General Hospital rumors support fan suspicions. According to GH fan speculation and the latest GH rumors, there was definitely more in it for Dex. But at this point, it’s more than he’s been willing to admit. His dedication and eagerness to come through for Michael seems odd, especially since one of the job qualifications was having to risk his own life.

As it turns out, General Hospital spoilers reveal that there’s more to Dex’s story. He isn’t just some lost soul who took a life threatening job for someone he doesn’t even know on a personal level. Obviously, Dex was ready and willing for a good reason. Fans still want to know who Dex’s parents are. While some keep their fingers crossed that Sonny hasn’t gathered yet another offspring, others are all for it. However, fans find Jason and AJ Quartermaine as viable candidates. Jason was basically married to the mob with no room for family, and AJ was killed by Sonny! So… Dex works for Michael for revenge against Sonny?!

Knowing his line of work, he woman could have made a decision to not tell Jason she was pregnant and then had their son. That being said, it’s possible that Dex feels abandoned by his father- but ultimately blames Sonny. Because if it wasn’t for Jason’s devotion to Sonny and a life of crime, Dex would have had a father.

Since it did, Sasha’s proven yet again that she’s not only a survivor, but a fighter.

Meanwhile, while Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) rounds up Deception’s legal team, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) rounds up her debtors. Specifically, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). This time, Gladys dug herself into a deeper hope than the last. The first time she got herself into debt with Selina at The Savoy she sold her own son’s garage right from under her daughter-in-law’s nose. She was somehow able to talk her way out of being accountable for the betrayal. But, General Hospital rumors and spoilers tease it won’t be so easy this time.

Previously, GH rumors claimed that Gladys gets her hands on Michael’s video that incriminates Sonny. The very video that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) obtained while working as Michael’s informant. Gladys betrays Sonny! For the last year or so, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been working tirelessly to obtain any information that incriminates his father. After a life-long, healthy relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Michael’s feelings for his father changed. Suddenly, they find themselves at odds over Michael’s mom, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and Sonny’s girlfriend, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

Thanks to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael and Sonny have began to repair their broken bond. Her wish for peace could only be granted by her husband. So, he fulfilled he request and offered Sonny a truce. Moreover, Willow’s wish for peace extended to her own mother, Nina, and her new mother-in-law, Carly. If Michael and Sonny can find away to put aside their differences, there shouldn’t be a reason why Nina and Carly can’t do the same. Or, as one would thing. But it’s obvious that Nina struggles with how she handles herself in certain situations.

Too Little, Too Late?

Michael and Sonny’s truce comes after Michael already secured incriminating evidence against his father. He and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) risked it all to betray Sonny. Now, Michael wants to play nice and Dex feels like he risked his life for nothing. Needless to say, Willow’s behind Michael’s decision to disregard the incriminating video that Dex bargained with his life for. However, there’s one thing that Willow requested that Michael hasn’t done yet. She asked him to deleted the video, but as of now that hasn’t happened. Is it too late to call a truce when Michael still has proof of his father’s crimes? I mean, what if someone gets their hands on it? In this digital age, that evidence is probably already made it’s way around the internet.

General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Makes A Choice, Josslyn Stands By Her Man- Will Joss And Dex Leave Together?

Joss and Dex leave together?! …Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as an informant. His mission was to get solid evidence against Michael’s own father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). With that, Michael planned to turn over the evidence, and secure Sonny’s future behind bars.

Somewhere along the way Dex fell for Michael’s sister, Sonny’s ex stepdaughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). At first, Joss and Dex’s relationship was a secret because of Michael and Sonny. Neither wanted Dex anywhere near Joss, but she and Dex are adults who couldn’t resist the chemistry between them.

Currently, their relationship is out in the open, and Sonny’s blessing was an added bonus. When he found out, he told Josslyn that her mother is the only one who has a true say in what she does. As for Dex, Sonny was disappointed he kept the secret. However, Dex has saved Sonny’s life so it’s almost as if Sonny gave him a free pass.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex makes a choices about his future. Now that Michael called off the mission Dex risked his life for, Dex faces two unsatisfying options.
