Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) was hired as Avery Corinthos’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) nanny. That lasted for about 2.3 seconds before Ava told Sonny the deal and he set his trap. Betty was working for Pikeman to help take down Sonny and blackmail Ava Jerome (Maura West). But did we ever stop to think about why Betty was so willing to put herself in the position to be “eliminated” by Sonny Corinthos?

Ava Jerome isn’t winning any popularity contests in Port Charles. Although I bet she’d win when pinned up against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). That woman has less friends than Regina George after her Burn Book was exposed. Trina is probably Ava’s most loyal supporter in life as Trina has never kidnapped or killed any of Ava’s children. She also never framed her for a murder or stalked her at any time. Despite Trina’s loyalty, I think it’s safe to say that Ava has more enemies than friends.

In that discussion Heather revealed that there was not one but two in a cryptic remark to her once beloved.

Nikolas Cassadine has his share of reasons to stay far, far away from Port Charles. First, his relationship with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was rocky ever since Nikolas faked his death. It’s understandable that Spencer felt abandoned, and distances himself from his father. Emotionally, the two were further apart than ever. Spencer was back from boarding school and living at Wyndemere, distance separated father and son.

Nikolas had other problems in his life but they all stemmed from the same issue. It was a vicious cycle back when Spencer and Esme both had it out for Nikolas and Ava. As a result, Spencer’s resentment towards his dad and step mom helped fuel Esme’s agenda. Additionally, Spencer unknowingly fed into Esme’s trap which helped lead Ava and Nikolas astray from each other. It was the straw the broke the camel’s back for Spencer.

Nikolas Killed Austin Over Ava?!

Once Esme seduced Nikolas and she became pregnant, time eventually did its job. It was only a matter of time that Spencer found out about how his father Nikolas slept with Esme. At this point Spencer had been betrayed by Nikolas enough. And on top of that, he found out who is girlfriend really was.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) was roped into the middle of it all between Nikolas and Spencer. But Ryan’s fixation on Ava fueled Esme’s entire plot, resulting in Ava’s marriage to Nikolas. Her hands are ties as she awaits judgement day. Legally, it looks like Esme is able to bring baby Ace to Spring Ridge upon her time of sentencing. But, incarceration isn’t really an a life event a baby should experience.

General Hospital recaps recall Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) role in Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) devious game. As history tells it, the people of Port Charles recognize Elizabeth and Nikolas’s friendship for representing loyalty and strength. Always coming to each other’s rescue, Liz and Nik knew they could always depend on one another. And due to Elizabeth’s unwavering loyalty to Nikolas, she was roped in to help him keep Esmé captive. During that time, Nurse Webber tended to Esme’s prenatal needs.

Although the situation wasn’t exactly optimal, the prenatal care that Esme received from Elizabeth was genuine. After a few surprisingly effective discussions with her Nurse, Esme displayed a real bond with her unborn baby boy. As a result, the captured accused (of the hook killings) started calling the baby, “Ace.”

According to General Hospital spoilers, insight from a recent interview reveals that soon, all is forgiven for the boarding school seductress. Well, many actors negotiate a new contract to remain in their current role. General Hospital news reports confirms that is not the case with Marcus.

General Hospital comings and goings news reveals Marcus will exit as Nikolas Cassadine by the end of January. Previously, General Hospital spoilers revealed a controversial debate surrounding the reason he did not fulfill his last obligations.

General Hospital recaps recall Tyler Christopher left the role of Nikolas Cassadine in 2016 Nicolas faked his death and left his young son, Spencer Cassadine, without a father. Three years later, it was revealed that Nikolas was alive and faked his death in 2016. At that time, Marcus Coloma took over the role of Nikolas from Tyler Christopher.

GH news reports confirm Coloma will exit before the end of January. That being said, the current storyline is leading up to his departure. General Hospital rumors hint Nikolas purposely leaves Spencer fatherless yet again. When Esme sets her tower on fire, the opportunity presents itself and Nikolas does what he has to do. Back at Wyndemere, she fulfilled her duty of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) hired nurse, aka accomplice in keeping Esme prisoner. Elizabeth’s nursing efforts provide prenatal care for the baby Esme claims is Nikolas’s. Elsewhere, the guest list for Britt Westbourne’s birthday party include some of the General Hospital staff along with Britt closest companions. Of course, that means Liz’s ex, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is present. After she was approached by her bestie Dr. Terri Randolph (Cassandra James), Liz furtively floated along the dance floor, slamming a shot under pressure.

Finn saw her take that shot while believing his ex girlfriend is pregnant with Nikolas’s baby. How will she explain her actions? Well, she may not have to.
