(Un)luckily for Esme, she gave birth to an heir. And not just any heir, but a Cassadine heir. Controlling and dangerous, Victor Cassadine’s plan to take baby Ace from his mother is fueled by Spencer’s vendetta against his father, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), as well as Esme.

Victor’s influence on his young nephew is manipulative and destructive. No matter how much he’s been warned against Victor, it’s not getting through to Spencer. However, sometimes it takes a personal experience to understand when something or someone isn’t good for you. That being said, Spencer meets with Victor to discuss plans to get their hands on Esme’s son.

According to recent General Hospital rumors, Spencer has second thoughts after meeting with his uncle. Uncle Victor tries so hard to convince Spence that he has his best interest in mind. Meanwhile, Dex’s employer is none other than Port Charles’s most powerful mobster, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). As if that wasn’t enough involvement in the action, try actually working undercover for the mobster’s son, while falling in love with said mobster’s stepdaughter.

In a recent interview, Hofer discloses how his role went from a short term thing to a more permanent role. He explained that he was about to film his very first scenes alongside ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. Even continued to explain that GH Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, pulled him aside. “But I’m getting ready for my first scenes with him and we’re about to roll and Frank pulls me aside and tells me, “Hey, you know, you’ve shown us some great layers and great stuff we could never imagine. How do you feel about sticking around a little more permanently?’” he went on. “And I was speechless and went, ‘Yes… sounds good… yes… yes sir… yes sir.’ And he goes, ‘Cool. I’m gonna call your agent.’”

Evan’s enthusiasm may have been camouflaged by his demanding schedule. As soon as Frank told him the news, he has to run into his next scene. However, he couldn’t have been more excited. The decision was a no brained. Hofer confesses, “I think I thought about it for point-five seconds.” His mother was immediately called to share the news.
