“Never Trust a Cassadine”

The wise words of the lethal Victor Cassadine will forever reign true. Since the beginning of their existence on General Hospital, the entire family with the exception of Alexis and Nikolas have been pure evil. The apples don’t fall far from the trees in that family. The have been reeking havoc on the residents of Port Charles since August of 1981. From the Ice Princess to Helena’s infatuation with Luke, kidnapping Lucky and making it look like he died in a fire, to the current cryogenic drama we are seeing today, the Cassadines are limitless when it comes to evil and getting what they want. Victor has managed to con Robin into helping him “defrost” Stavros and Helena Cassadine with the incentive of saving her best friend Jason Morgan. Robin was under the impression that after Jason woke up, she would be able to take him to Sam and Danny. Victor has much different plans. He has sent Robin away and is planning on using Jason’s strength to brain wash him into being beneficial to him.

If Victor is successful into making Jason his own, it may be a while before Sam knows he is alive. Will Robin let Victor get away with this? Do you think Jason will be a different man with a new life or will he find his way back to his true love and family?

Who is Levi Dunkleman’s Father?

There has to be a deeper, more dramatic reason for Levi to be in Port Charles than Maxie and Felicia’s priceless Aztec jewels. Perhaps his extreme skills of manipulation and scheming is a lovely trait passed down from a previous generation.

In a recent interview with Michael Fairman, Zachary Garred touched on the possibility of being connected to Port Charles by his biological Father. Michael Fairman asked, “So, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) really despises Levi!  He has had him pegged from the beginning.  What if turns out that Mac is really Levi’s father?  Oh, the irony!” In response, actor Zachary Garred said, “Oh!  If I could wish to be the son of somebody it would be John J. York (Mac) who is wearing a white pink checkerboard sort of golf pants right in front of us! I love him.  Actually, that is the kind of guy I would like to have as my dad.” He later continued on to say that he is the son of someone in PC, but cannot say who.

Zachary warns that along with Levi’s new haircut also comes some new behavior.

Jason is Waking Up!

Whether you are a die hard Steve Burton fan and cannot even fathom the idea of a Jason Morgan recast, or you are just a super fan of the character Jason Morgan and are ecstatic for the role to be taken over by a new actor, now is the time for all those emotions to come to the surface and well, explode with excitement. General Hospital fans just cannot put this one down! The buzz has never been greater than it is right now circling the news and rumors regarding our beloved Jason Morgan. As we know, Steve Burton will not be reprising his role of Jason (Quartermaine) Morgan on General Hospital. However, we do know that Victor Cassadine has Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake working to being Helena, Stavros, and Jason Morgan back from their froze, cryogenic state. Despite what Robin told Patrick, that she failed and Jason is dead, we know that she lied just to protect him, Sam, and her family. Jason is very much alive according to the evil Victor Cassadine. Soon Jason will be saved by his best friend.

Spoilers have been alluding to Jason waking up as early as this week (August 11th-15th) on General Hospital. Do not miss a moment of this long awaited story line to reach the moment we have all been waiting for.

Nathan Reveals His True Feelings! Will Maxie Walk Down the Aisle with Levi?

It has been a long time coming. It’s so obvious that Detective Nathan West and Maxie Jones have amazing chemistry. Every time Lulu points out how charming and handsome Nathan is, Maxie quickly tries to change the subject and denies her attraction to him. Nathan has been putting up with Dunkleman and fighting his feelings for Maxie for months. Recently, he had a talk with Nina about his feelings and she encouraged him to fight for the one he loves.

This week on General Hospital, Nathan confesses his feelings for Maxie to Mac Scorpio. Rumor has it that Maxie overhears just before she is about to make a life altering act and marry Levi Dunkleman.

Maxie will contemplate her feelings for Nathan. Knowing how Nathan feels about her, will Maxie still marry Levi?

The Most Hated Man on General Hospital

Throughout General Hospital’s 51 years of existence, there have been many types of characters to leave their mark in Port Charles and in the hearts and minds of the fans. Whether they have left lasting impressions or simply passed on through, there are definitely certain characters that can never be forgotten.

It’s actually difficult to remember the last time a fan reaction to a new character has been this strong. No matter which form of social media you have stumbled upon, the fans are all in an uproar about one thing. From Instagram to Facebook, from Twitter to Tumblr, fans across the board seem to share the same opinion on these two words… Levi Dunkleman. Dunkleman is being shredded to pieces by GH fans of all ages.

Look what the cat dragged in… Maxie Jones went on her self discovery retreat after she lost custody of her baby girl, Georgie. Maxie was broken. She had just lost her best friends Dante and Lulu after agreeing to be their surrogate and lying by letting them believe the baby she was carrying was actually theirs. It turned out that the baby girl Maxie was supposed to be carrying for Dante and Lulu was actually a precious miracle she and Spinelli created on New Years Eve. Maxie didn’t want to hurt her friends and tell them she wasn’t pregnant with their child. She decided to be selfless and give up her own daughter to give to her best friend. When her plan unfolded, Maxie was lost. She lost her great love Spinelli to Ellie, Dante and Lulu, and the custody of Georgie to Spinelli. She was in a dark place and when she left she was vulnerable and convinced that she needed to become a better person. She met Levi and let him into her life. He has basically brainwashed her into thinking exactly the way he does. He has manipulated her out of being with her daughter among other ways of life that the Maxie we used to know would never be a part of.

Recently, Michael Fairman interviewed Zachary Garred on “Playing the Most Despised Man on General Hospital…Levi Dunkleman.” In the interview Fairman caught up with the Australian-American actor and found out his thoughts on playing such a hated character and what he thinks of the negative feedback. Garred disclosed that when he was cast to play the role of Levi Dunkleman, executive producer Frank Valentini warned him not to play the “cliche hippie angle because it’s already there.”

Zachary had some great insight on fan reactions to Levi Dunkleman, he told Michael Fairman, ” When I started acting I think I was like 15 or 16 years old when I had just my first audition. The response you generally want to get is that you just want people to have an opinion on the character, and it doesn’t matter whether it’s good or bad.  If everyone liked the characters … you wouldn’t have some of the greatest movies in history!” Obviously Zachary Garred is portraying Levi Dunkleman EXACTLY as he should. We all love to hate this character which means the actor is going his job with passion, emotion, and putting his whole self into the role.

Garred also tells Michael Fairman that he was not told exactly what type of character he was going to be playing when he was cast in the role of Levi Dunkleman. He said that all Frank Valentini said to him was not to play cliche. He mentioned that Head Writer, Ron Carlivati gives him great material and that working opposite “the gorgeous genetically spectacular Nathan (Ryan Paevey),” really works for the character. Nathan is supposed to be this Knight in Shining Armor type while Levi is this underhanded manipulative snake. When these two are constantly being pinned against each other, it helps the Levi character’s true colors shine.

He also went on to joke about Maxie’s apartment being hashtag “shirt off apartment” and that his first scene was Levi coming out in a towel!

Zachary had great things to say about his co-star, Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones). When Michael Fairman asked Garred how it is to work with Kirsten, Garred responded, “She is a gem! The thing about Kirsten is: for someone her age she has so much experience in this industry, and as actress so many mediums.  I am very lucky to have been paired up with Kirsten and Ryan in story, and Ryan was fairly new to the show when I came on too.  So we are so lucky because the fans love of Maxie, and Kirsten is such a beautiful, sweet, funny person. We all get along like a house on fire away from work.  We hang out at Kirsten’s place with her and Brandon Barash and their daughter Harper as well.   So to have the camaraderie as well off-screen it helps at work.”

We want to know what YOU think about Levi! Do you love to hate him, or just hate him? Regardless, it’s apparent that Zachary Garred is going is job due to the fact that fan reactions are pretty much unanimous. Will there ever be room for Levi in Port Charles or should he still be deported back to Australia?

Victor Cassadine Was the One Behind the Accident, Did He Have an Accomplice?

One General Hospital mystery finally solved! On yesterday’s (August 7th) episode of General Hospital, Victor Cassadine revealed to Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake that HE in deed was the person responsible for causing Patrick’s accident that ultimately killed baby Gabriel. His intention was to prove his authority to Robin and let her know that he has the power to hurt her family if she doesn’t follow his rules at the Crichton-Clark Clinic. He divulged almost all the information fans have been waiting to hear for months. He explained that it was he who set the accident in motion, and that he put Rafe up to driving Patrick, Sabrina and Emma off the road by telling Rafe there was a possibility his Mother Alison Barrington, was still alive. Robin asked him how he even knew “that poor boy” and he gave a sketchy response.

Soon after Robin and Victor’s conversation, the scene cut to Nina. It would make sense that Victor has an accomplice to explain how he got his hands on Rafe to talk him into doing something like that. It sure seems like Nina and Victor know one another since she was also at the Crichton-Clark Clinic when she was recovering from her supposed coma. Did Victor use Nina to get to Rafe? When Silas told Nina the news he had just heard from Molly, that Rafe told her someone put him up to it, Nina has a strange look on her face as if she were guilty.

Do you think Victor had an accomplice in this whole thing? SHARE if you think Nina is as guilty as she is crazy!

Who Caused the Accident is REVEALED!

Technically, we all know that Rafe was behind the wheel of the car that caused Patrick and Sabrina’s car to go off the road. As a result, Sabrina went into preterm labor and ultimately, Patrick and Sabrina lost their son because of it. Luckily Emma wasn’t hurt.

During Rafe and Molly’s intense get away cop chase, Rafe revealed to Molly that someone put him up to it. Unfortunately Rafe wasn’t able to finish telling Molly the entire story before he passed away.

On today’s episode of General Hospital, the culprit will be revealed! Make sure you watch GH on ABC at 2PM Eastern.

Who do you think was being the accident? Take a guess and comment below!

General Hospital’s Jason Shocker! Is He IN or is He OUT?

It seems like the executives over at ABC’s General Hospital have been going back and forth on whether or not the iconic role of Jason Morgan would be recast after the departure of Steve Burton. Steve Burton played Jason Quartermaine (later Jason Morgan) for 21 years. After leaving General Hospital due to conflicts of interests with General Hospital executives, Burton soon after joined the cast of  CBS The Young and the Restless as Dylan McAvoy. He has signed a 2 year contract with Y&R, therefore, has no intention of going back to General Hospital in that time.

Just because GH doesn’t have Steve Burton, doesn’t mean they can’t have the character, Jason Morgan. We have seen it done many times through General Hospital’s 51 years of existence, Amazing actors and fan favorites have been forced to be recast all the time. Edward Quartermaine, Carly Corinthos Jacks, AJ Quartermaine, Lulu Spencer, Nikolas Cassadine, Helena Cassadine, just to name a few. What makes Steve Burton any different? Although Steve Burton made the character of Jason Morgan who we all know and love today, there comes a time where the show must go on.

We have been hearing for many months now that the role of Jason Morgan would be recast, and the actor to play that role would be Billy Miller from The Young and the Restless. However, nothing has been confirmed or denied. Many credible sources have admitted seeing Miller around LA with GH cast members. When Miller was asked the direct question if he has joined the cast of GH to play Jason Morgan he danced around the question.

Due to many rumors circulating the media, fans were expecting to see Jason return to GH (in the form of Billy Miller), this August 7th-8th. After today’s SHOCKING episode of General Hospital fans are left with more uncertainty and confusion about this subject than ever before. Robin telling Patrick “Jason is dead,” is not exactly what fans expected to hear just one day before Billy Miller has been said to make his debut. It looks like Robin is willing to push Patrick over the edge just to be able to save him from Victor’s wrath. Robin denied that she is being threatened and being held captive. She assured Patrick that she is there because she wants to be even though Jason is dead. She is claiming that her research and work will be of the greater good and that she is helping terminally ill people in the future. What happens next? Is Robin lying to Patrick in order to protect her family?
