Spencer outsmarts Victor?! Once his Uncle Victor’s precious young Cassadine heir, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is now expendable. Ideally, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) would protect his great nephew at all costs. In his mind, the more Cassadine family members banned together, the more powerful they become. But when his prized family member wants nothing to do with him, Victor’s mentality changes.

Back in Port Charles, Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), among others, brainstorm to help rescue Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), Ace, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Laura offers up the most knowledge based on her past experience with the crazy Cassadine’s. Back when the ship was called, The Titan, Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and Laura were prisoners aboard the ship.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Chavez’s recent statement in an interview with Soaps In Depth. “He has to find a way to outsmart Victor,  and all of his personnel, in order to end up with the upper hand,” Chavez admitted. “The odds are definitely stacked against him.”

Victor believed Holly was sent to recovery at a special burn unit and that the Ice Princess was gone.

According to recent GH recaps, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) finally put two and two together. Holly’s ruse derailed Victor’s plans, and bought time to stall him in his quest. However, so much was set in motion. Lives are at stake and Victor is crazier than ever before.

General Hospital news reports confirm Holly returns to Port Charles as Victor’s big showdown is about to erupt. Currently, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and baby Ace are Victor’s prisoners on the Haunted Star. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) jumped aboard and they’re headed for Venezuela. Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) medical expertise made her Victor’s target. He plans to release a deadly pathogen while Obrecht is expected to administer inoculation to Victor and his family.

If he only knew that Holly is the reason he can’t get it up, the target on her back would go straight to her head. General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton Reprises His Role, Explains His “Easy” Decision

Steve Burton reprises his role. Daytime TV icon, Steve Burton is best known for his good-hearted, bad boy role on ABC’s General Hospital. Jason Morgan became one of the most popular characters in television. His friendship and brotherhood with GH’s leading man, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), created a powerful fan following.

Sadly, Burton’s reign as the legendary Jason Morgan ended in November of 2021. His personal beliefs were not in alignment with certain mandates Disney and ABC required to continue employment. Unfortunately, Steve left GH after nearly 3 decades.

Thankfully, Steve’s fans don’t have to go too far in order to find him on-screen. After Steve departed General Hospital, Beyond Salem producers reached out to Burton. He was asked to hop on board and reprise his role as Harris Michaels in Beyond Salem’s second season.

General Hospital news reports reveal Burton’s next career move. According to Soaps In Depth, Steve explained his thought process when it comes to accepting Beyond Salem’s offer. He said, “It was kind of like, “We already have an idea for 3. Could you come back to Days and maybe finish that arc?’ “That’s how it led into the story coming to DAYS. It’s a continuation of BEYOND SALEM.” Burton explained, “I don’t want to say it was an easy decision,” he admitted. “With BEYOND SALEM, it was an easy decision because it was a limited run.

“And I had such a great experience there with the people I worked with and the producers. When they brought [returning] up, I was way more open to it than I probably would have been prior,” he went on, “because I have businesses I’m growing that are doing well. I’m doing what I love to do, coaching people. And I’ve got my kids. So my life was great, I have all this stuff going on. But I do love to act and how this came about was great. So I was like, ‘Yeah, sure. I’ll come back.’ When you’re in the business 36 years and people are still calling? I’m super-grateful.”

GH fans continue to hold out hope for Steve’s return as Jason. But for now, watching him anywhere is better than nowhere!

His own mother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) can’t believe what Nikolas has become. Currently, he’s missing from Port Charles. The only people who know the truth are Ava, Austin, and Mason. Along with whoever has Nikolas prisoner.
