Victor kidnapped Liesl to save Nikolas?! So far, even if things aren’t going exactly according to plan, Victor seems to have exactly what he wants. After being presumed dead, Victor found Anna and his son Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) alive. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may not survive, his nephew Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), and baby Ace are about to drift away to a life of Cassadine corruption.
Moreover, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) flexes by showing Port Charles he isn’t to be underestimated. Particularly, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the Spencer’s, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Recent General Hospital recaps recall Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is missing. Frantic, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) buzzes around backstage to find help. Once Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) learned that her Aunt Liesl is missing, she went straight to Sonny.
Liesl Must Save Nikolas Before She Can Save Willow?
Why would anyone kidnap Liesl? Here’s why we think… Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is barely alive, at an undisclosed location. We know that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) called upon his cousin Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) when Nikolas went missing from Wyndemere. Furthermore, the fact that Mason and Austin answer to a mystery boss leads us to believe Victor is pulling the strings. Victor is obsessed with the Cassadine’s. According to General Hospital rumors, Victor took Nikolas from the locked room. If that’s true, the possibility that Victor kidnapped Liesl to save Nikolas explains why she’s missing.
In addition, Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) family is in a panic over Liesl’s disappearance. Her bone marrow transplant surgery is scheduled the day after the Nurses Ball. As time ticks on and on, the pressure to find Liesl intensifies. GH spoilers and rumors tease she could be on the Haunted Star with Victor and Spencer. Dr. Obrecht is a very skilled doctor who has assisted in many off the record medical procedures and experiments.
Sonny’s involvement in finding Liesl ties together another one of Victor’s motives. The fact that Liesl is Willow Tait’s lifeline gives Victor leverage. Knowing that Willow’s life depends on Liesl, Victor has Sonny and his family at his mercy.
Gladys gets Cody arrested! Greedy Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is up to her old tricks again. As it turns out, change and personal growth only lasted about as long as a moon phase. It seems like she gave it a good week and then turned to her old habits. But seriously, Gladys’s self reflection surrounding her son Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death gave Sasha and Sonny hope. Sadly, they will soon come to find that she hasn’t changed at all. And for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her life is in the hands of a greedy, remorseless, thief!
Who does Gladys think she’s messing with? It’s one thing if she thinks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show her any type of mercy because they’re family. However, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is another story. Of course, Sasha will be devastated with what her mother-in-law got herself tangled up in. But the real consequences come from the powerful people in PC, Sonny and Selina.
But before all that, Gladys’s underhanded scheme buys her some time. According to the latest General Hospital previews and spoilers, Sasha notices that the bracelet she let Gladys borrow is missing from her wrist. We all know where it is, but Sasha is about to be fooled by the woman she trusted with her entire life.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is called upon to make an arrest. Although everyone basically knows everyone in Port Charles, but this arrest hits close to home for Dante. Because of Gladys’s despicable frame job, and Cody’s already tarnished reputation, it’s believed he stole the borrowed jewels right from Gladys’s wrist. While it’s obvious to the audience that Cody is innocent, but will his childhood friend and new acquaintances believe his guilt? Most importantly, will Sasha?
Brook Lynn arrested for Linc’s murder?! Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) career was really going places when suddenly, everything fell apart. The music industry is full of complex problems that fall upon rising stars. Specifically, abuse of power in the industry runs rampant. Because of this, careers are threatened and unethical and even illegal practices occur. It must be stopped.
GH recaps remind us that things became even more complicated for Brook Lynn after she signed an NDA regarding Linc. The threat of losing her songs aided in her decision to keep quiet. So selfishly, Brook Lynn saved her own skin at the expense of Linc’s victims. Now, the songwriter/former singer lives in regret.
Brook Lynn Arrested?! Chase To Her Defense?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn catches Linc red handed. The hustle and bustle of the Nurses Ball has some contributors on edge. It’s important that the production runs smoothly, so frequent back stage checks occur in order to keep things moving. GH rumors claim that Brook Lynn is witness to an incriminating incident. This is the final straw that convinces Brook Lynn to do something about Linc. But if she can’t put an end to Linc legally, how will he be stopped? No matter what, something must be done.
According to GH rumors, Linc’s last power trip makes Brook Lynn realize she needs to step up and take some action. But how exactly will she stop Linc from harming anyone else?
Carly wants Sonny back. Did you see that look from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)? The simple sight of her ex-husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is still powerful enough to stop Carly in her tracks. Ever since their split, CarSon fans have been counting down to the the day all is right again in the world. Inevitably, Sonny and Carly belong together.
Recent General Hospital rumors surrounding Nina and Sonny point in the direction of “the end is near.” Social media activity shows that many General Hospital fans can’t fathom why the writer’s went this route in the first place. I admit, at first I thought the same thing. But soon after, I remembered all the hiccups that have been interjected into happy storylines over the years. It’s true what fans say, that no one ever stays happy in soap operas. However, like a rare gem, every so often a couple will stand out to the fans. It’s like a tv couple that goes viral, but for many, many, years! Even those rare gems (the daytime super couples) have hurdles. But the difference is that they always find their way back to each other. And that describes Sonny and Carly perfectly.
GH recaps remember the alternate universe where Sonny Corinthos developed feelings for Nina Reeves when he had the love of a good woman waiting on him. Devastated, Carly wasn’t about to share her man with anyone else. So, she did what any good woman would do. She left. GH spoilers indicate that Carly and Sonny think they’ve moved on. But recently, events in Port Charles point to an inevitable reunion for these two soul mates.
Sonny Corinthos and Caroline “Carly” Benson’s instant chemistry hit fans in a way even Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) and Sonny couldn’t. All three of the (main) women that have played Carly have incredible natural chemistry with a Benard. Luckily, we’ve been graced with Laura Wright for many years. Maurice and Laura’s onscreen dynamic hits different. When they broke up over two years ago, no form of moving on could satisfy the fans. Quite often fans express their distaste for the Sonny and Nina pairing. Then, it’s only right that if Sonny moved on, then so should Carly.
Carly Wants Sonny Back
Although handsome, helpful, kind, and most importantly, emotionally available, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) just doesn’t work for Carly. According to GH spoilers and rumors, Carly wants her man back. And as Carly said, she always gets what she wants.
Helena Cassadine returns to General Hospital.Never underestimate a Cassadine. Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) is as evil as they come. Every so often, a Cassadine slips through the cracks. Those rare individuals either end up a target by their own family, or they build a completely new life for themselves. Some more evil than others, the Cassadine family seeks power and control.
GH recaps note that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) reminds Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) that only cats have nine lives. But from what we’ve seen, perhaps Helena Cassadine is a cat? Haha well, you know what we mean ????.
Recent General Hospital spoilers reveal Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plot is even more calculated and catastrophic than once believed. His own nephew doesn’t grasp how lethal his uncle Vic actually is. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) looks up to his great Uncle Victor. For some reason, he trusts him. A young and inexperienced Spencer wants to believe in his family. I’m doing so, he trusts Victor to help him with the problem he calls Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). But if Spence only knew what Victor was really planning…
If you think Victor is a dangerous piece of work, then you need a quick course in his predecessor, Helena Cassadine. According to General Hospital news reports, the role was originated by Elizabeth Taylor in 1981. The icon played Helena that year, but the role was recast in 1996 with actress Dimitri Arliss. Her stint as Helena was brief and Towers took over as head of the Cassadine sovereignty in 1997. From then on, Constance Towers became the recognizable face as the legendary Grandmother Cassadine.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Helena Cassadine returns to General Hospital for the 60th anniversary celebration. General Hospital comings and goings confirm the actress has filmed two episodes which will air around May 8th. Towers shared the news via Facebook.
So, is she still dead? Will Helena show up to join forces with Victor? Or will she return to show Victor who’s boss? Don’t forget to check in on our General Hospital
Reality drives Sonny and Nina apart. Nina should really listen to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). She said that not everyone is cut out or be in Sonny’s life. Prior to spending time together in Nixon Falls, Nina didn’t know much about Sonny’s life. His business was merely an idea to Nina. And as far as Nina was concerned, she hoped Sonny would take on the Mike persona forever.
Unfortunately, Nina didn’t get to keep Mike. Once he regained his memories, Sonny immediately remembered his true identity. Despite the fact that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) split, Carly remains more in Sonny’s business than Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that Nina’s victory over Carly is ephemeral. While it’s true that Nina won a confused and vulnerable version of Sonny, she doesn’t keep him for long.
The latest General Hospital previews and spoilers focus on the current chaos working Port Charles. As everyone prepares for the Nurses Ball red carpet and main event, the energy among PC residents exudes mixed vibes. Of course, the Nurses Ball festivities brings positive and upbeat vibes. Amidst the hospital’s 60th anniversary and the Nurses Ball excitement, some struggle to stop and smell the Corinthos Coffee. However, Sonny and Nina find time for each other. GH rumors hint that their time together is short-lived when shocking interruptions cut their time together short. Ultimately, the harsh reality drives Sonny and Nina apart.
Will their incompatibility push Carly and Sonny back together?
Curtis and Jordan attend Nurses Ball together?! Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) pays the price for keeping a life changing secret from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
If you missed a few beats, our General Hospital recaps will help us catch you up on all the latest GH spoilers, rumors, news, and of course drama. According to recent GH recaps, Portia’s Valentine’s Day wedding turned into a broken hearted affair. When Trina came busting in demanding answers, Portia’s life long secret was revealed. Trina, Taggert, and Curtis now know that Curtis could actually be Trina’s biological father. Because of this, Portia suffers the consequences of her lies. Curtis and Trina have kept a comfortable distance from the woman the both love for many reasons.
Portia is still torn because she knows she shouldn’t have lied but she also knows what she was going through at the time. As the years passed, Portia reiwd her best to forget Curtis and make it work with Taggert. Sadly, the divorced. Many years later, Portia and Curtis meet again and have a second chance. Each opportunity instilled more and more fear in Portia. The fear of losing Curtis and possibly Trina too tears her apart. She knows that her own intentions were not malicious. Portia was never out to hurt anyone. But life happens. One thing after another, and before she knows it, Portia is in so deep with her secret that she thinks there’s no way out.
Finally, the truth was out and now Portia deals with the aftermath. Portia’s loneliness is the result of Curtis and Trina’s distance. According to recent GH previews, Ava nudges Portia to attend the Nurses Ball. Due to her current family situation, Portia is unsure whether or not she will attend. But, Ava’s push does the trick and Portia hopes to have a distraction. Unfortunately, things get worse for Portia.
GH rumors claim that Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) awkward red carpet moment involves Curtis and Portia. GH rumors speculate that exes, Jordan and Curtis Ashford openly display their event reconnection. How will Portia react when she sees her husband and his ex-wife walk the red carpet?
The Nurses Ball of General Hospital has been a tradition in Port Charles since 1994. The event is to raise money in support of AIDS/HIV research while honoring the nursing profession and all the hard work and dedication nurses bring to the hospital and patients. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is the founder, organizer, and hostess of the big event every year, and every year Lucy doesn’t disappoint when it comes to bringing the excitement. After 2013, The Nurses Ball became an annual charity event.
Although the event typically occurs in May, due to the global pandemic, The Nurses Ball will air this week on General Hospital.
We look forward to seeing Lucy and all The Nurses Ball participants perform their many talents. And it wouldn’t be a classic, General Hospital Nurses Ball, without crazy, dramatic, and shocking, events!
The date to resume filming in LA was delayed multiple times for several reasons. Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, LA County had held off on the June date to resume production. The start date was delayed again due to guidelines and safety and health regulations having to be implemented.
After a long four month wait, General Hospital news reports that GH will be all new on Monday, August 3rd.
In a recent ABC7 news report, GH Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, made statements regarding getting back to filming the show, the studio’s protocol, and what’s ahead for the residents of Port Charles.
GH fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of their favorite Daytime Drama, Genera Hospital, as the four month drought seemed like eternity. In regard to the July 20th start date for the cast and crew, Valentini told ABC7, “It took that long to establish the protocols and to think through every step of the production process,” producer Frank Valentini said. Many changes have been made at Prospect Studios, including having to have your temperature taken before even entering the building.
The Nurses Ball usually happens in May, but due to COVID-19, the month was cut short and the Nurses Ball was sadly missed. However, have no worries, GH fans have been assured by Valentini that this year’s Nurses Ball will happen. He states, “And, although it will be about four months later than usual, the annual Nurses’ Ball will return, this time in August.“
General Hospital spoilers indicate Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail), is nearing the end as Alzheimer’s takes it’s toll. Frank Valentini reveals they will wrap up Mike’s storyline in a few short months. Get ready for some tear jerking scenes involving the Corinthos family.
The revival of GH’s Nurses Ball as been a huge hit the past few years, ever since Nurse Sabrina Santiago went to great lengths to revive the event in which brings awareness to AIDS.
An old General Hospital tradition was brought back, along with the characters who originally took part in legacy.
Lucy Coe has always been the host of this big event, and it still remains uncertain whether or not Lynn Herring will be back this May for the show. Odds are, she will be right there, up front and center, falling out of her gown somehow.
ABC Soaps in Depth‘s General Hospital spoilers revealed there will be much to look forward to at this year’s 12th Nurses Ball. From musical talents, to dancing, and lots of drama.
GH spoilers for the big event include, a budding romance, an arrest, and a life and death situation for one particular Port Charles resident.
The Nurses Ball will air a little later this year, so set your DVRs for Tuesday, May 24th-26th!
