Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is a key player in this whole Nina/SEC storyline. But first, can anyone tell me when he changed his name from Ashton to Quartermaine? I know he’s been going by Q for a while, but I must’ve missed when he officially changed it over. And every time I write about Ned it trips me up LOL. But Quartermaine it is, I suppose.

Then, he spoke with this unknown businessman on the phone right after he congratulated Nina and kissed her cheek. Understandably, Michael’s vibe took a dive after that call. Now, the majorly of GH fans believe that Michael knows it was Nina, and that he’ll expose her for the lying, betraying, untrustworthy woman they always knew her to be.

I don’t know about you, but to me it looks like Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is going to explode. Her calm demeanor, even when exhausted and flustered, makes me think that this is the calm before the storm.
Is Esme faking? At this point I’d say that she is most likely not faking her amnesia. However, something tells me that the old Esme is still in there somewhere. Meanwhile, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) continues to build his relationship with long awaited love, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Their weekend getaway to New York was everything and more. Additionally, their bond is stronger because of it. But is it strong enough to withstand the force that tore them apart the first time?
Esme’s Up To Her Old Tricks
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that as Spencer and Esme spend more family time with Ace and even Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), Esme develops increasingly strong feelings for Spence. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) inch closer to becoming husband and wife. To their pleasant surprise, they are surrounded by their closest loved ones, including Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). The unlikely-to-attend pair are not only present but supportive as well.
General Hospital previews indicate that Michael may be present to support his father, but the event doesn’t have his full attention. Instead, he’s focused on getting answers to a burning question. At this point, Carly is sick of it and is determined to turn things around, especially for Drew. So of course, Carly starts digging. Michael Blames Valentin For SEC Tip-Off
GH recaps recall the text that Michael received as the ceremony began. Although the text has no indication of the sender, it sort of looked like it was Dex. Because, right after Michael looked at his phone, the camera quickly panned over to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer). That’s when Dex quickly shut down his phone. Furthermore, he managed to evade Joss’s inquiry and skipped right over telling her who texted him. If that isn’t suspicious then I don’t know.
Ultimately, GH spoilers reveal that Michael learns that Martin Grey tipped off the SEC. Confused, Michael tries to connect the dots. Why Martin? Then, Michael realizes Martin’s ties to Valentin as his legal counsel, and figures it has to be Valentin. At this rate, will Nina ever get exposed?!
Ava Jerome (Maura West) killed Nikolas Cassadine, or so she thinks. She’ll do anything to protect her daughter Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). That’s why she didn’t think twice when she clubbed Nikolas over the head when he threatened to take her daughter. Gladys Corbin is the type of character that makes a significant impact on the audience. Typically, the audience has a love-hate relationship with a particular character because we simply love to hate them. A great performer makes you feel something for their character. So, if you’re left with hate and animosity toward a fictional person, that means they’ve done their job!
As for myself, many times the love to hate vibe turns straight into love for the character. It’s like I don’t even care that someone came to port Charles to torture the family whose daughter needed a kidney. Or, a boarding school brat who was actually a deranged con artist. Thankfully, soap operas love redemption for their characters. Moreover, how about a ruthless, business woman who didn’t hesitate to blackmail and manipulate her own granddaughter.

Gladys Says Goodbye To Port Charles
Reportedly, General Hospital news confirms that Bonnie Burroughs leaves General Hospital as Gladys is punished by Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). According to GH spoilers, Gladys isn’t getting away with what she did to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Burroughs opened up about the news, confirming that Gladys was written out of the script. She reflects on how she learned Gladys’s fate, and admits that she’s grateful.
Moreover, Burroughs admitted that Executive Producer Frank Valentini gave her an heads up. He informed her that the end was near prior to receiving the scripts.
