Immediately, flashbacks of gunfire and mob drama danced through my brain waves. Sonny’s striking dark hair is more than just a root touch up. Is it just style? Or is it symbolism?

When it comes to appearance, Sonny Corinthos is iconically known for his slicked back, dark hair. Since the early 1990s, GH fans recognized the Port Charles mobster by his intimidating demeanor. That’s why, when everything began to fall apart, Sonny lost his identity completely. His jet black hair was fading just like his personality as Nina turned him into Mike.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sonny is ready to leave every aspect of Mike behind. His new look foreshadows the mob war that is on the horizon. Did you happen to notice Sonny’s new look?
