General Hospital recaps It was in during their very first encounter when Dr. Austin Holt and Cyrus Renault’s connection was evident. It was pretty obvious that it wasn’t just their individual demeanors that made up the peculiar dialogue. Clearly, the dynamic screamed of the past and family dysfunction. Soon enough, the doc and the inmate start discussing some personal family matters. That’s when it became clear that these two go way back.
We sense a whole lotta family dysfunction going on. Undoubtedly, this is just the tip of the iceberg. So, just how far back do they go? It’s hard to say for sure, but judging by their conversation it sounds like Cyrus could be Austin’s absentee father. Or maybe a step father who Austin wasn’t fond of?
