“The truth will set you free, “ -John 8:32. Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) confessed to her role in aiding Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in his crimes against a pregnant woman. In good conscience, Elizabeth implicated herself by admitting that she helped Nikolas Cassadine keep Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) prisoner.
Ironically, the thought that coming forward with the truth will set you free is virtuous and cleansing although damning to one’s reputation. Furthermore, admitting involvement in activity that caused a series of unfortunate events has its consequences. For Elizabeth, the guilt of it all weighs on her even though she’s free and clear where the law is concerned. However, just because she won’t experience legal ramifications doesn’t mean she’s off the hook.
General Hospital recaps recall Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) takes her aggressions out on Elizabeth. The slap has GH fans hyped on debating whether or not Liesl is justified in slapping Liz. Until now, Liesl had no knowledge of Elizabeth’s contribution to Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death.
