What’s Next for Sonny Corinthos? Will He Make it Out Alive?

SonnysurviveSocial media and fans sites are blowing up with the current General Hospital story line involving Sonny and the entire Corinthos family. Fans are up in arms at the possibility of losing their favorite mobster, Port Charles mob boss, Sonny Corinthos. What is going to happen next for Sonny and the rest of the Corinthos clan?

Sonny’s life is hanging by a thread as Carly, Michael, Morgan, Sam, and Jake, wait helplessly at the hospital. Ric is causing trouble for Carly and her kids, trying to minimize the importance she, Michael, and Morgan, have in Sonny’s life. Amidst all the family drama going on between Ric and the rest of Sonny’s loved ones, the fact still remains that Sonny is fighting for his life. At this point, no one is certain whether he will live or die, or if his life will forever be changed after surgery. General Hospital spoilers reveal that there is a possibility that Sonny will become paralyzed. The surgery may save his life, but there is a risk that Sonny may never walk again.

GH’s TJ Ashford, Tequan Richmond, Lands New Role

TJMollyGeneral Hospital spoilers reveal that Tequan Richmond, who plays TJ Ashford has landed a new role on Showtime. Richmond joined the cast of General Hospital back in 2012, and currently plays alongside some of Port Charles’ biggest names. TJ is loyal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), boyfriend of Molly Lansing Davis (Hayley Pullos), and son of Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine).

Richmond will be playing a teen dad, with three children. The Showtime pilot will take place and be filmed in Chicago. This leads to the question of whether or not Tequan will be working both at Prospect Studios in LA, as well as taping the new pilot across the country in Chicago.

General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on whether or not Port Charles will be saying goodbye to TJ Ashford.

Can Dante and Lulu Overcome Valerie’s Pregnancy?

Valpreg2General Hospital spoilers and rumors have been buzzing with news that as a result of Dante and Valerie’s betrayal on Lulu, Valerie will end up pregnant. It seems as though those rumors are about to turn true, as two weeks ago, Valerie hinted that she may be pregnant, touching her stomach. Now that Valerie overheard Lulu and Dante discussing future baby plans. it’s becoming more obvious that she herself is carrying Dante’s child.

Lulu and Dante have been through hell and back when it comes to conceiving a child. First with Maxie as their surrogate, then the whole Cassadine ordeal, her stolen embryos… and now this.

Will Lulu and Dante be able to move on with their marriage and continue on as a loving family even if Valerie will be the one to give Dante a second child?

GH rumors suspect that the end of Lante is near, and they there will be room made for a Dillon and Lulu romance.

The Corinthos Family Prepares for the Worst

Sonnyshot1Carly on her wedding day, along with their children, Michael and Morgan, friends, and loved ones, prepare themselves for the worst. Sonny Corinthos has been shot- on his and Carly’s wedding day. They all gather around, anxiously waiting to see if the father, mobster, and friend will live or die.

Jake arrived at Sonny’s covered in blood. The look on his and Carly’s face says it all. Carly and Jake have connected just as Jason Morgan and Carly had many years ago. Carly knows that Jake has come bringing the dark news that something terrible has happened to Sonny. Jake will be there for the Corinthos clan, just as Jason Morgan was always there for them in the past.

Jake, Sam, Carly, and Sonny, will grow closer in their bond due to this recent tragedy. Sooner, rather than later, Jake will know is actually Jason Morgan.

As Sonny’s business enforcer, he also helped protect Sonny and his family, including his best friend, Carly.

As Carly prepares for what she thinks will be the best day of her life, her 5th wedding to Sonny, General Hospital spoilers reveal other plans. Starting today on General Hospital, we will see the aftermath of the shooting with Sonny on Friday’s episode. It has been said that Jake and Sam will be the ones to come running, and that Jake (Jason) will play a huge hand in Sonny’s rescue.

It looks like the writers are setting the ground work for Jake to start morphing into the Jason Morgan we all know, love, and remember. With Sam by his side, Jason will show signs of his past… he will spring into action to rescue is long time friend and companion, Sonny, on his wedding day.

Does Sam Have Nikolas Right Where She Wants Him?

New GH Writers Reveal What’s in Store for Future Story Lines

WritersIt has been a whirlwind around the recent announcement that General Hospital has replaced it’s Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, with former GH writers, Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman. Fans have been up and down in regard to this news, some reluctant to embrace change, and others very excited to see what fresh writing will bring for their favorite General Hospital Characters.

According to the latest addition of Soap Opera Digest, Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman reveal their plans for Genie Francis’ return to General Hospital.

General Hospital Blog previously reported that Genie Francis will be back to the canvas this coming Fall. Francis mentioned that she is hopeful for her character Laura, that there will be much in store for her when she returns to Port Charles.

In addition, the Soap Opera Digest issue contains information regarding the plans of the new writers. General Hospital spoilers reveal that the two co-writers plan on bringing more romance to the show, reintoroducing the hospital as well as the mob stories to the canvas.

In a statement that can be found in SOD, Passanante says, “There is nothing more passionate then a General Hospital fan,” and Altman adds, “We hope that they will invest their commitment in the show and give us a chance, because I think they will be rewarded. We are excited to be here; we are writers and fans.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Hayden Has a Flashback About Jake

HaydenBarnesNikolas (Tyler Christopher) has been behaving like a true Cassadine as of late, and among all the despicable things he has done recently, having Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) shot in hope to keep her quiet about Jake’s (Billy Miller) identity has got to be the worst. Nik went to extreme measures to keep Hayden from disclosing the truth about Jake Doe. Hayden was about to tell Jake that he is actually Jason Morgan, when a bullet came flying her way. causing her to go into a coma.

Now that Hayden is awake, she definitely poses a threat to exposing Nikolas, so he has to keep her under wraps. Lucky for Nikolas, Hayden is currently suffering from amnesia, and doesn’t remember what her life in Port Charles was like before she was shot. She has had a flashback of Nik’s broken vase, and General Hospital spoilers reveal that she will start to remember more and more.

Hayden will have a memory that involves Jake. Will Hayden remember that Jake is Jason Morgan? Hopefully she will be able to put the pieces together, and realize that Nikolas is still trying to hold onto his and Liz’s (Rebecca Herbst) secret about Jason.

They share children which deepens their connection. For the 5th time, Sonny and Carl have found their way back to one another and are ready to make it official. With all their family by their side, Sonny and Carly plan on sharing a magical day uniting their love yet again.

However, things aren’t going to go as planned. Sonny is a mobster. He loves deeply and he tries everything in his power to protect the ones he loves… even by walking away. He knows that anyone who gets close to him as a drastic risk of getting hurt.

General Hospital spoilers reveal in the upcoming promo, that Sonny and Carly are in for some real wedding drama. Shots are fired and as of now, we aren’t sure if Sonny will be the target, or if one of the wedding guests will take the fall.
