GH Comings and Goings: Is Lois leaving General Hospital
Lois Cerullo was introduced to the Soap Opera in the early 1990s. The Bensonhurst native quickly made herself comfortable in Port Charles, finding her old neighborhood click right there in town. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lois grew up other back in the day and have remained close..
Lois made lasting connections with the Quartermaine family when she married Ned Ashton Quartermaine in 1995. After leaving General Hospital in the 90s, Rena Sofer made her surprise return to Port Charles in 2023. Reportedly, Rena’s 2023 run as Lois Cerullo was meant to be for a short time. As it turns out, Lois’s return made quite a splash among fans.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Rena’s reign as Lois could be coming to an end- again. Previously, GH Blog shared details about Sofer’s agreement to bring Lois back to PC. The actress disclosed that she agreed to return to the role for a short time. While her return wasn’t intended for the long term, Rena’s return as Lois had such a positive response from the audience that it seems she’s stayed longer than TPTB initially planned.
According to recent General Hospital comings and goings, sources indicate that Sofer is off-contract and recurring status with the 60 year old daytime drama. However, recurring status doesn’t mean that she’s out completely. Despite the recent buzz about her GH contract, GH news reports have yet to confirm an exit. So far, Lois is still with her family where she belongs.
Allison Rogers is living her life in a similar fashion to Hannah Montana. She’s Allison by day and a rising pop star named Blaze by night. Her double life has worked for her thus far, but as she dives into an adult relationship parts of her become more difficult to hide from the world.

Although her face is unfamiliar to PC residents, GH fans might recognize the new addition from ABC’s All My Children. According to General Hospital news reports, Eva LaRue joined the cast of GH in a new role. on February 26th Natalia joins her daughter Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) in Port Charles.
Reportedly, Eva LaRule revealed how she came to fill the role of Natalia Rogers Ramirez. In an exclusive interview with Soap Opera Digest, LaRue explained the process that lead to landing on General Hospital. Additionally, the interview brought about insight into GH’s new character.
According to General Hospital news and spoilers, GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini basically handpicked LaRue to play Natalia. She explains in an interview that she received a call regarding to role in December. Reportedly, Eva told Soap Opera Dogest that friend and colleague Mark Teschner reached out. Additionally, LaRue confessed that GH Executive Producer Frank Valentini asked Mark Techner to reach out to Eva specifically . She was told that Valentini confessed, “I don’t want to see a bunch of people. I want Eva LaRue to do it. Will you see if she’ll come do it?” LaRue revealed.
GH news and spoilers confirm that Eva agreed to take on the role that seemed to have been made for her! Blaze is in for a surprise when her pops into Port Charles!
Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) showed up in Port Charles again after many years away. He has history with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that dates back to the 90s. Back then, Jagger, Sonny, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) all had ties to the same girl, and her name was Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne). GH history confirms that Jagger always had it out for Sonny. And Jagger knew Jason as Jason Quartermaine. In fact, they knew each other well, especially after having been stranded on an island with Karen.
Suddenly, Jagger is back and is in the thick of a Port Charles investigation. It’s high time the people of Port Charles learn who was behind the Metro Court shooting. So who shot Curtis? Furthermore, who was the intended target? Maybe it was Curtis after all? According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, the shooter’s targets all have something in common. Evidently, someone is after high profile organized crime bosses. In addition to the attack on Sonny’s island, someone threatened Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Olivia Jerome is dead. Also, Sonny and Ava were attacked on his island. Clearly someone wants to send a message.

Just recently, the people of Port Charles gathered together to celebrate Spencer Cassadine’s life. Sadly, the young Cassadine Prince suffered a tragic accident and is presumed dead. Reportedly, GH Blog shared Nicholas Alexander Chavez’s GH status. According to recent GH news reports, Chavez has temporarily left his role as Spencer Cassadine.
As a youngster, 8 year old Nicolas Bechtel played Spencer Cassadine, the youngest Cassadine heir (at the time). He landed the role in 2013 as the son of Nikolas Cassadine (the late Tyler Christopher) and Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis). According to GH news, Nicholas Bechtel left General Hospital in 2016 to focus on his role on Disney Channel’s Stuck In The Middle. But in 2021, Bechtel officially said goodbye to the role when GH recast Spencer.
It was then that the General Hospital Executives decided to take the role into a different direction. So Spencer was SORASed, bringing in an older actor for more mature material.

Kristina Corinthos may have finally found someone who she can settle down with. Sonny and Alexis’s daughter has recently matured and grown as a person. She’s more grounded and it could be in part because of her friend Blaze. But Kristina and Blaze are more than friends. Finally, Kristina admitted their status to her sister Molly.

Blaze’s Mom Comes To Port Charles – Eva LaRue Joins General Hospital
According to the latest General Hospital news reports, All My Children’s Eva LaRue (Maria Santos) is set to her daytime-television return General Hospital as Blaze’s Mom. LaRue makes her GH debut as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez on February 26th.
What’s a man gotta do to get some loyalty around Port Charles?! Some would argue that this time Sonny shouldn’t complain… but others see how he’d feel betrayed after what those three have kept secret!
Nina isn’t the only one in town who is keeping secrets. But the difference between her lies (and those of omission) and a few other’s is the driving force behind the deception. Clearly, Nina’s motives were strictly vindictive. On the contrary, others in Port Charles use deception in the name of protection. But that still doesn’t excuse the lie. It’s a whole complicated web of actions and intentions, and the Corinthos family is in the thick of it.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny gets another blow while he’s still processing having been betrayed by his wife. Ninas lies harbored those of others that came before hers. That leads us to Michael’s devious plan to destroy his own father. Dex’s presence in Port Charles only takes place because Michael hired him to take down Sonny. John Jagger Cates left Port Charles behind decades ago. But alas he is back and on a mission to solve a crime in his old hometown.
Some things never change as Jagger still has it out for Sonny after all of these years. General Hospital history recalls Sonny’s friendship with Michael “Stone” Cates, who was Jagger’s younger brother. Stone’s big brother never liked Sonny because of his early influence on Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne).
Now that Jagger is back he still displays the same distain for Sonny as he did back then. Aside from Karen, Sonny and Jagger’s past connections include Robin and her first true love, the late Stone. Although new Jagger mentions Stone, he refers to his adult son, not his late brother who died in Robin Scorpio’s Kimberly McCullough) arms.

Adam Harrington curiously arrived in Port Charles slightly before Steve Burton makes his on-screen return as Jason Morgan. That said, GH rumors suggest that Jason or Jagger could be Dex’s father. Some even claim that Jagger’s son Stone works for Sonny Corinthos- and if that’s true then Dex is Jagger’s son. Will Brick uncover the big mystery about Dex once and for all?
Willow Tait Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) struggles to trust her own mother after the recent Corinthos family drama. As a result tension fills the air between Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his wife. Of course, the situation never would have come about without Sonny’s wife, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Unfortunately for Willow, Nina isn’t just her step-mother-in-law. She’s also Willow’s biological mother. According to recent General Hospital spoilers and previews, Sonny still finds it difficult to trust again. Not only did Nina let lie him, she deliberately hurt two people that Willow and Michael both care about. As for Sonny, he cares for Carly (Laura Wright) and respects Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Moreover, Michael kept his step-mother’s lie a secret from both and Willow. Although each betrayed him in different ways, Sonny is seemingly done with Nina. But his son is another story. The most recent General Hospital previews indicate that Michael asks Sonny for forgiveness, but it’s unclear whether or not he’s ready to take that trusting leap. Right now it’s hard for Sonny to trust anyone- let alone someone who has directly lied to him. GH rumors tease that odds are Sonny won’t forgive Nina, but there’s hope for Michael and Sonny to regain what’s they’ve lost. Their bond.
This is not news that anyone in Port Charles or at home in the audience wants to hear. Sadly, Gregory Chase’s health is rapidly deteriorating. He spends his days around family and close friends, as they keep a watchful eye on Gregory’s symptoms.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Gregory’s older son Finn (Michael Easton) is by his side when the grandfather of one needs medical attention. Lately, Gregory has been more open to accepting help from those closest to him. It’s understandable that he’d have some resistance as it’s hard to imagine having to go through what he endures. Once again, like the times before, Gregory needs help when he experiences a frightening symptom.
According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Gregory suffers a medical emergency. Rest assured that Finn won’t take no for an answer in regard to seeking medical attention.
What does this mean for Gregory and the rest of the Chase family? His other son Chase, and his fiancé Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have upcoming wedding plans. They plan to have Gregory part of their special day, but will his health allow it?
