General Hospital Spoilers: Dr. Britt Westbourne Receives More Bad News

Thankfully Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has her newfound companionship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as she navigates through one difficult situation to another.

Britt has been on the receiving end of some bad news and things happening to her lately, but having Jason by her side has softened the blow.

General Hospital news and spoilers confirm Jason won’t be the only one in Britt’s corner when she receives more disappointing news. GH comings and goings report that Parry Shen will return to GH as Britt’s buddy, Brad Cooper, on July 1st.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt will receive some more bad news. She’ll be informed by Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) that she is being replaced as Chief of Staff at GH. She was appointed the position by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), back to when he thought he could use Dr. Westbourne to slyly traffic drugs through the hospital. Now that Renault has been hauled off to Federal Prison, Britt’s credentials are no longer a match for the position.

There has been quite a mystery surrounding Roger Howarth’s new role on General Hospital. After killing of his character, Franco Baldwin, General Hospital news reports confirmed that actor Roger Howarth would be returning to the show as an entirely new character.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dr. Austin Holt has roots here in Port Charles, as he is tied to a very prominent and powerful family. GH rumors indicate that Austin’s email regarding an ELQ board meeting is a key clue to Austin’s identity and background.

General Hospital rumors suggest that Austin Holt is in fact a Quartermaine. Making him the son of Jimmy Lee Holt, an illegitimate son of the late Edward Quartermaine.

GH fans radar went off in the May 17th episode when Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) mentioned Jimmy Lee Holt as an example of how the Quartermaine family has survived many who have done before Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Because of this name drop, GH fans began to wonder if Austin would have some type of connection to Holt.

It turned out Austin is very interested I. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and it’s no coincidence that his interest has to do with the fact that Michael is not only a Corinthos, but a true Quartermaine as well.

Does Austin have good intentions? GH news and spoilers disclosed that GH writers wanted Howarth’s new role to play a lighter, softer, character, as opposed to the dark and twisted early version of Franco Baldwin.

It seems all too familiar as we saw what happened to Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) when having coffee with his family. Chase was poisoned by Peter August after mistakenly taking the cup that was meant for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

It’s possible he somehow found out that Chase would be under Monica’s care at the Quartermaine mansion. The year was 1991, and smack in the heart of the Christmas season, Steve Burton debuted as Jason Quartermaine on December, 19th.

Today his character Jason is well known as Jason Morgan, but a true GH fan can never forget how it all started, as Jason Quartermaine, son of the legendary daytime TV family, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon). Steve played the family’s “golden boy” as he was favored over troubled brother, AJ Quartermaine.

Jason’s character has changed and evolved over the course of these 29 years, and has made quite a mark on the daytime audience.

This man known as a protector, mob enforcer, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right hand man, Carly’s (Laura Wright) best friend, a father, and lover of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)… he is none other than the legendary badass, Jason Morgan.

She’s out on the streets after she turned to Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) after being released rom the hospital, and now he’s kicking her to the curb. Brook Lynn betrayed her father, which lead him to kick her out of the Quartermaine mansion, which ultimately lead to where she is today.

Chase told Brook Lynn that he needs his space back in his one room apartment. General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn made her wya back to her home with her family. She arrived at the Quartermaine mansion where she over heard a secret.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) confides in his auntie, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), and discloses his shameful secret. Ned tells Monica that he cheated on his wife, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
