Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. GH recaps recall that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) thought she killed her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss). A impulse attack to protect her daughter, Ava whacked Nikolas over the head. Next, she decided to declare him dead. Together, she and pal Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) brought Nikolas’s limp body to its hiding spot.

To their dismay, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) search revealed to Ava and Austin that Nikolas had somehow gotten out of that locked door. Thankfully, Dante was none the wiser. Then, Ava and Austin scrambled to figure out how in the world a lifeless Nikolas could have escaped that locked room.

It’s unlikely that the Nurses Ball runs smoothly. With Victor on the prowl, a mob war brewing, and Willow’s transplant around the corner, the possibilities for disaster are endless. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) get the shock of a lifetime when Nikolas returns during the Nurses Ball. Furthermore, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) has Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) at an undisclosed location. After Ava presumed him dead, Nikolas is actually alive and about to make an appearance.

General Hospital casting news reports have yet to confirm any recast for Nikolas Cassadine. In a shocking GH news revelation, it was previously confirmed that Marcus Coloma had been let go from his role. Coloma played the dark Prince, Nikolas Cassadine, for 3 years. When his contract was up, TPTB over at General Hospital did not negotiate a renewal.

Will Ava Jerome’s enemy get the best of her? Ava Jerome (Maura West) has a lot of enemies. Over the years, Ava’s attitude and behaviors burned many bridges with the people of Port Charles. Having family history with the mob, Ava is no stranger to ruthless and cut-throat behavior.

General Hospital recaps recall a time when things began to change for Ava. Despite her inexcusable actions involving Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craing), Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), and even her own daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), deep down Ava has a good heart. She’s come a long way over the years. Her relationship with Sonny Corinthos is sometimes more than civil despite of what did she to his son. At times, Ava and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) find it in themselves to display mutual respect for one an other. But busy because she’s civil with those she’s wronged in the past, that doesn’t mean they’re her best friends.

Needless to say, this art-loving mob princess doesn’t have many friends. As a result, it makes sense that Ava has resorted to befriending Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Previously, Nina kidnapped Ava’s daughter, Avery Corinthos. Yet somehow, she’s now friends with the woman who brought harm against her child. Not to mention, Sonny is now dating the woman who kidnapped his and Ava’s daughter. Anyways, it’s apparent that Ava has her share of enemies.

That being said, General Hospital spoilers reveal Ava encounters an enemy. Aside from her little incident with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), Ava has been on a brighter path. Will Ava Jerome’s enemy get the best of her?

General Hospital recaps recall the events that lead to Nikolas’s self destruction as well as the slow death of his marriage to Ava. Unfortunately, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) life entered a whirlwind when his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) returned home with his girlfriend. Little did he know, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came to Port Charles with a lot more to unpack than her boarding school luggage.

Clearly, Nikolas’s poor life choices and the repercussions that follow began long before Spencer returned home with Esme in tow. In fact, Nik had already caused damage to his father/son relationship when he faked his own death. Upon his “resurrection,” Nikolas wasn’t necessarily welcomed with open arms by everyone he loves.

Sadly, Spencer’s plan to get back at his father went way out of left field thanks to Esme. Consequently, Spencer and his father didn’t get a chance to mend their relationship through a string of ill-fated events. Ultimately, Nikolas and Spencer became more like enemies instead of reconciling. Needless to say, Nikolas’s downward spiral launched when Esme’s father, Ryan Chamberlain set his plan for Ava and Nikolas in motion. Fast forward to the present, Nikolas spun so out if control that he ended up threatening to kidnap Ava’s daughter… and we all know the rest.

Now, Ava faces the consequences after clubbing her ex-husband over the head to protect Avery. The lies, the cover up stories, and the help she received from Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) is going to cost her. General hospital spoilers revealed that in a shocking twist, Ava is in more trouble now that Nicolas it’s alive then she was when she thought he was dead.

According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Ava turns to Sonny in confidence. Currently, Austin is the only one who shares her secret. But, that all could change since she’s desperate for answers. Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) shocking discovery has Ava and Austin in disbelief. Obviously, Nikolas didn’t get up and walk away. As General Hospital recaps recall, Ryan’s obsession with Ava had her looking over her shoulder for years. After all, he is the reason her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is over. Now that he’s truly gone, she can rest assured that Ryan won’t harm her or anyone she loves again. But safety and peace of mind aren’t all why she’s particularly relieved. In a vulnerable state, Ava confessed to killing Nikolas to Ryan. As for the Cassadine family, Nikolas is the primary Cassadine in Port Charles and it simply wouldn’t be the same without him.

Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH? The role of Nikolas Cassadine remains an ever-popular character. As the main focus of an iconic family in Port Charles, there’s always drama surrounding Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital news and spoilers confirm the role of Nikolas Cassadine was originated by Emmy winner Tyler Christopher in 1996. Christopher gave Nikolas Cassadine his iconic “dark Prince” personal, leaving big shoes to fill upon his exit from General Hospital. He left the daytime drama in 1999 and the role was recast with Coltin Scott until 2003. Later that year, Tyler Christopher pleasantly surprised fans when he made his return debut in April of 2003. His second run as Nikolas Cassadine outran his first, lasting from 2003-2011. Tyler was let go from the role but then later reprised the iconic character for General Hospital’s fiftieth anniversary in 2013. He remained in the role until 2016 when Nikolas faked his own death.

Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH?

Fast forward about three years and General Hospital fans were shocked to learn Nikolas wasn’t really dead. Nikolas returned in 2019 however, fans were presented with a recast for the well-known role.  

Marcus Coloma took over as Nikolas Cassadine and was immediately faced with challenging storylines. He had big shoes to fill after Tyler Christopher’s portrayal set the stage for the character’s iconic personality. Previously, General Hospital Blog reported Coloma disclosed his fear that he’d be killed off while struggling to get the right feel for the role. General Hospital news and spoilers reports reveal General Hospital star Marcus Coloma  has dipped out and the role of Nikolas Cassadine has been recast.

According to recent General Hospital comings and goings news confirms actor Adam Huss has stepped into Coloma’s shoes while he’s away. General Hospital spoilers indicate the change in casting is only temporary, however, the reason remains unknown.

The recent Nikolas Cassadine recast Adam Huss, took over as The Dark Prince briefly in September of 2021. GH fans recognized the familiar face as he once again fills in for Coloma.

Eagle eyed fans noticed a change ib a recent Instagram caption shared by General Hospital spoilers Adam Huss took to Instagram to share a headshot photo that now reads, “#actorslife photo cred @lordylorch” in the caption.

GH rumors claim there has been a conspiracy involving actor Adam Huss’ recent IG post. GH speculations claim the actor possibly let the cat out of the bag prematurely. As a result, his IG caption has been exited.

GH spoilers and rumors suggest Adam edited his caption after divulging too much information. According to Soaps.sheknows.com, Huss’ original caption read, ”Back at it…#actorslife.” That caption now simply says the latter along with a photo cred shout out. The post was shared hours before Monday’s episode of General Hospital aired.

Did Adam say too much too soon and end up changing his original caption? Some fans think so. Pointing out the fact that Marcus Coloma made no mention of the recast, fans began to speculate. Perhaps Huss wasn’t at liberty to say, therefore, possibly having to correct his overshare.
